Nice builds great job as usual. In the uk the cx500 were called “ plastic maggot “ and were loved . My brother bought one from new and used it for touring 2 up . Oil changed every 3k miles and it lasted for ever.
Nice build, different which is great. I will just add I don't get the red crash bar padding and red filters, just doesn't match, make them black.. Also I must say I don't like the big open back, if you have a mono-shock ok, but put in some storage box there, a park ranger needs some storage!! cheers, jack
Hey Murray, those red portions are UNI pre-filters specifically designed for those filters as added protection. They match the subtle red decal on the swingarm as well as the red Bell Moto 3 helmet the uses when he rides the bike. Trying to be a bit different instead of black which is just easy and common. Many subtle details you may not notice. I can understand the storage portion but the number plate fills that space visually.
Id look at the handlebars I have on the current CX500 scrambler build. They are better than the ones on this bike. They will be linked. This has a Supertrapp muffler on a custom 2 into 1 system.
You don't need to. If it doesn't interest you thats cool and I respect that. There are a lot of different people in the world with different interests and likes. Just because it isn't your thing doesn't mean its wrong. Room for everyone.
That was super cool to see those together like that, I'm seriously in love with that scrambler.
Agreed on seeing what 4 years does as skills improve and ideas evolve. Thank you 🙏
Blast from the past and repeat business, what could be more sweet!!
For real! The current bike was obtained when this scrambler was actually so this one just waited longer
Hand down Simply Beautiful
Thank you much Christoph 🙏

I do not get the trend of cutting the back end off of classic bikes.
