Well done guys nice bike ..apart from those exhausts in my opinion they do look like you gave the apprentice that job ..I appreciate it's a zero cost to you guys built in 10 days and all proceeds to charity so well done to you.
Just keep building😍. I've been following since you just working in your small garage. I appreciate all your project.
Excellent. Thanks for following.
Beautiful, I'm surviving Colon cancer and had surgery November 4th. I appreciate these kind of videos. Helps with keeping me busy and not focusing on the pain. I'm only 33 and hope to do some builds myself.
Best of luck with your recovery. Glad these videos prove to be entertaining
Been a tough year, i have my first follow up in a months time and hope to clear it. Still want to feel the wind in my hair after doing a build.
Your project is very bold and excellent thats why im always watching your videos, Classic bold bike is my dream bike..
Thanks, glad you like them
Very cool. I had a 1980 CX650 for years, loved it. Always wanted to get my greasy mitts on a '83 CX650 Turbo. Maybe one day it'll fall into my lap 😂 stranger things have happened! 🤘
Fantastic series, and a great build for an equally great cause. Thanks for all your hard work and allowing us to watch it.
Absolutely. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely brilliant.Love it.
Thanks for watching.
Absolutely beautiful build. 👌
Thanks and raised money for a good cause too
wow, this is literally the bike ive been dreaming of for the last half year!
Its fun to ride
So sick!
Beautiful job... it is really impressive what the modern Motorcycle Builder can do with a Vintage Bike... But I feel if I ride that bike, I'm gonna get my leg BURN... that exhaust needs some modification for sure. The CX500 Custom was my dad's second bike and my first motor vehicle I learned how to drive when I was 12 years old.
Beautiful machine!
Thanks. It’ll be some lucky person’s bike.
Hermosa transfotmscion hermoso trabajo y muy buen gusto. Amo tu canal y me gustaría tener una moto asi
Thanks.
I used that same seat pan on my RD400 Superstreet race bike. Nice work!
Thanks
Yay been waiting for this
Excellent
Amaizing! Fantastic, imresive, awsome!
Thanks for watching.
Desde Ecuador 👏 Felicidades a sus trabajos ...💯 Poniéndole amor y pasión por nuevas creaciones majestuosas cómo está no cabe duda es magnífico diseño, poder , es increíble 🏆👏👏🔥
Thank you very much that's very kind of you
Great Build!!! But with an undertail exhaust it would be otherworldy!
Did think of it but there’s currently no room as the strut is there.
Wow!.wish had one in the future...nice build brothers..
Was given away to one lucky winner
I loved my CX500 Deluxe I had that bike 9 years and put 250,000 MI on her I had it in the Air Force and I wrote it cross-country several times your CX500 dirt tracker shows a lot of imagination and is really sweet
Thank you.
Top job for a good cause. Wriggling uncontrollably that it's CX 500 though :-)
Thanks
Excellent work, greetings from Venezuela
Thank you very much!
me encantan estos videos espero en algun momento hacer un proyecto asi por mientras a aprender jeje
Thanks
Really good work ..love it
Thanks.
A wonderful, wacky, slightly cartoonish build that somehow suits the bizarre dimensions and geometry of the old plastic maggot.
I am waiting for the day when the custom bike world tires of exhaust wraps.... But I understand it ticks a box that many feel must be ticked.
That aside, it is an excellent build with some clever touches. Exhaust is eccentric, uncomfortable routed (for the rider) and somehow awkward, but I imagine that was the look you were going for. The spokes and their implementation are great.
The CX 500 lump and its radiator must be about the ugliest and the hardest to disguise.... Chapeau to you for making such a good job of it. Honda could never quite manage that from the factory.
And it looks like a fun ride.
Congratulations!
Thanks. Glad you appreciate it.
The way the wheels were converted is really cool.
Is a neat set up with standard hubs
Ah the CX ?
Such an enigmatic beast.
Love em.....
Sure is
Hey man i love your channel i watch your build videos everytime say do you have any upcoming builds to be uploaded? Awesome build on that tracker by the way! 🙌🙌
Videos every week. The Ducati monster project had started if you haven’t seen that yet on the channel.
Great build 👍🏻 but would have like to see a more sculpted and cushioned seat, maybe something with crossed stitching? The seat as is looks super hard.
Placing the exhaust headers directly underneath/ besides the air filters and not even grinding down the weld beads on header pipes before wrapping - 'priceless'.
What can be put a price on is the $27,000 raised for prostate cancer foundation from a 10 day build.
@@forthebold Well, I respect charity but I do not respect poor craftmanship for heaps of money. I find it very pathetic to argue with the raised amount of money. Thats a poor justification. And just because 'everybody else' likes the build does not at all mean that it is well done.
WurstExpress #616 money didn’t go to me at all. All to the charity. And the winner of the draw got the bike for donating $5. A well worth cause.
No critiquing allowed, apparently coz it's for charity😉
@@BillyRillkratz show us anything better that you've built. Plenty of "car" guys do shit like buy cars and rice mod them with ebay/amazon parts and call that craftsmanship. They did some cool fabrications on this bike and 10 days is a short time frame. Let alone the fact that not everyone chasing this build at home has professional grade tools, but I am pretty sure most of us do have what was used here in this video. I find your levels of jealousy pathetic and its sad your parents didn't teach you the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut." Do you think anyone woke up today asking "WurstExpress #616 can you come be and asshat in my comment section. PLLLEEEAAASSEEEE " Another side note is the dude raised 27,000 for cancer in one build (more than you probably have every raised towards anything I'm willing to double down), whats important is that money is well used toward kids and people dying in a hospital bed from cancer, yet you'd rather sit here and call him a bad craftsman because he didn't grind a weld... LOL You're toxic.
Nice!
Thank you
Awsome build, my only 'but' is the apparent nut cuter between the front part of the seat and the tank
Added sense of thrill knowing you could slice a meatball at any time.
This Tracker looks like a Beast
Thank you. Was fun to ride. Now owned by a lucky winner for $5
@@forthebold wow
Good job
Thanks.
Nice build!
Thanks!
Great job ,how beautiful it came out. Just one thing ,color scheme makes it look more like KTM than a Honda.
Anonymous wong I do love that orange.
Fingers crossed, she will be in my garage soon. Great job Even better cause.
Best of luck
Are you coming down for the Bike Shed Festival?
It's a good finish to hear its voice.
Always good
What a good job, the only detail is the welding of the leaks
Great build, love the street tracker style 👌 What does the Supertrapp exhaust sound like? As I've thought about putting one on mine. Are you having to fab rear sets from scratch or are you using the OEM positions? Awesome job 👌
You can hear it in Friday’s video.
Just got a mint 79 cx500.. Seriously debating something like this
If it’s mint, DONT DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS. mint ones will keep their value and be worth more than these. I only work on bikes that aren’t loved.
I want one!
Sweetness
Thank you
hey man dig your builds and channel all the way from South Africa , just bought an old cb400n and slowly but surely working on it, I like the spray you used on the engine it makes it look brand new. what type is it or how did you accomplish it?
many thanks
Like how you treat the tire center.
It’s very cool
first of all,i love your channel.many many great tips and ways to get it done.please could you let us know how you fitted your seat to the seat unit.it would help out alot.manythanks.keep up the good work
Glad you like the channel. It's just velcro
@@forthebold ah, nice one, thank you for replying,,
On every bike, you build there should always be a soundcheck!
And if you check the ‘start up’ video in the series you’ll find one there. Along with a ride video
Nice bike
Thank you
nice project , i wish you did like some 650 honda back in the eighty , engine side way drive by chain .sorry cant find a picture
I know which one you mean, I can't remember the name now, had the carbs in the way of he legs also
Wow I used to have this bike and it always seemed a little underpowered but a great bike had some good points to it but I don't know just didn't have the umphf as my other Hondas.
Does lack in a little power but taking off 30kg helped
Awesome, but i would do the pipes and seat a little diferent.
最高です
Thanks
Great videos with lots of information. Can you please help me and advice me which motorcycle to customize for brat style is more suitable for me and many others that we are above 6.4? Personally i am 6.5. According to my height is it more suitable a cb750, z1000 mkii or maybe a yamaha xt500,600? Many thanks in advance !!!!
Cb750 is a good frame as it’s longer. Check out my cb750 build on this channel.
Amazing work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks.
Brat Rod!
That was awesome!!!!! hahaha loved it!!!
hey i gotta q for you!
i have a Gl500 1978-81 i've been wrking on it for 2 years and now is running quite well but there is this little thing i dont know what it is..
when im riding at 5th gear and i downshift, sometimes the clutch would get stuck!!! untill the bike goes off and only then it looses... what can that be?!?!?!? van you give me some advice?
I think there may be a problem with gear shifting lever
Love the Bike, are the spoke conversion plates custom made or where can i buy these?
You can contact Dime City Cycles
Turned out nice that buddy, someone is in for a treat!
Sure are.
Awesome! love that you used the original hub and made a custom rim
Only thing I don't like is the piping of the exhaust and the position
Way to far at the back and it should look slightly upwards
Nevertheless, keep up the hard work💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Greetings from Austria
It’s cool. Is a very long exhaust with the 2 - 1 coupler and silencer.
Max S I have to agree. The exhaust detracts from an otherwise awesome build. I realise you were time limited but to me its proportions and finish are entirely wrong for this bike.
It'd be nice to see it run too
Ben Horn coming this week.
Looks amazing but would look perfect with me sitting on it 😂
Best of luck if you’ve donated.
This is the engine platform that Honda used in the early 80's when they decided to go AMA flattrack racing, theirs being based off the CX650. They turned the engine to configure the cylinders fore and AFT, running the output shaft out the side driving a chain and sprockets. They had mediocre success, but this bike led to the new RS750 which dominated for several years. That was until Harley Davidson whined to the AMA and forced Honda to run restrictions so Harley could keep up. After Honda had won several championships, they left flattrack racing, refusing to play politics with AMA/Harley Davidson. Even a few privateers campaigned the bike for several more years, culminating in their final championship in 1993 with the legendary Ricky Graham. RIP.
I’ve seen photos of that bike with the carbs out the side. Awesome idea.
How many years of experience did it for you guys to reach this level of skills and execution-ability?
I've been building since I was young
nice
Thanks
top muito linda
Looks cool, well done. Does it run??
Thanks. Sure does.
some riding action we be cool too
Check out the ride video in the series.
Wow
Love and appreciate your works. I would want you guys to build me a tracker in the future. I am from India though...
Thanks. But I don’t sell bikes.
rip casting wheel...but amaze finishing!!!
Thanks
What kind of paint do you use to paint the engine and the carb??
Absolutely mega!
Thank you.
That spoke conversation kit, where would I find that? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place
Might be coming to the site soon.
Paint Follow Up Question - After painting the motor, how did you cure it? Has the paint chipped off on previous builds? I would like to paint my engine but want to do it right and hear more often than not about the paint chipping off. I see a lot builds where they did what you did but I never hear about an update (maybe sold to a customer or its a customers bike hence it doesnt come back)
Max Sanchez 2 options. Paint or powder coat. To powder coat you have to strip the engine down to its casing which is a huge and expensive job. So for the worth of using VHT paints it holds if it’s baked. I would only recommend VHT paints though.
Dude this bike looks fucking sick
Thank you.
Do you know what model Renthal bars were used? They look great
Just the standard low bars
Liked and subbed
Thank you so much.
Awesome video and build!
Thanks.
Wow super cool 😎👌👏👍
Thank you
Wow, do you have a video of how you modify the wheels?
Yeah they're in the series playlist
WOW! What an Amazon job guys. It's art work.
Amazon wtf English chutiya
Thanks
Wow you guys are amazing, I can't believe it only took 11 minutes to do a full re-build.
You joke about the 11 minutes but was all achieved in 10 days
That is so beautiful
Thanks. Some lucky person will win it.
I would love to hear the sound
The start up is on another episode
Have a 81 cx500 but rod knocking and having issues finding any sort of parts before which is making it difficult for me to wanna tear into it any help would be appreciated
Randacks are classic Honda parts specialists.
Wow. Were. Can i buy that soo cool
Not for sale, it was given away for free to a competition winner
Awesome works
Thank you.
the build are so beautiful
Thank you. Glad you think so.
im new here and i just want to know why you wrap the exhaust pipe with that thing
Mostly in this case to stop the exhaust pipe from burning legs.
Now the real question. How is it in the dirt?
Great color , great style, love the conversion to spoke wheels but the exhaust is a mess.
Hello !!! Where you buy kit rayon for wheels please?
Try some city cycles.
Would love to hear it start up. Why no engine start up sound?
Check out the next video. Startup and ride
Ok, now for the 8 episode - 20-30 minutes/each, version ;)
One day.
Does anyone know what that kit they used for the wheels is all about? (around 9:00) Been looking for spoked wheels and cannot find them but if I could convert...
Contact Dime City Cycles and they can help.
Cool bike, you need to ditch the jail colors though.
Orange is my favourite colour.
Te quedó bien padre ,,de casualidad tendrás el CDI y las bocinas amigo
CDI?
@@forthebold cuanto salen
Would be so much better without music would rather listen to an angle grinder !
Holyyyyy shittttt !!!!!
I very very loved some video about rebuild motobike like this
