Those look fantastic! No overwhelming foreground and great width! Curious if Toyota implemented any heat to prevent snow/ice build up? Although I’d have to get some Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights in yellow, helps a ton in rain and snow compared to white. I’m a bit of a headlight junkie too. Lol
Yup, although these are an upgrade on the Limited they are the best I’ve seen on a pickup. I used to do yellow fogs from PIAA back in the day lol! Thanks for sharing bro 👍🏾👍🏾
Awesome review. I'm lights freak like you are lol. You are 100% right. We need bright lights but not to blind oncoming traffic but for our safety and wild animals safety. I own 2019 TSS 5.7L V8 crewmax SR5 4x2 Tundra. Thinking about 2023 Limited Edition 4x4 but prices are insanely ridiculous.
I have this truck and that headlight cut off line drives me crazy. I live in a remote northern location and I find I am slouching in my seat trying to see more. I wanted to get a light bar for the roof but it's illegal to have here. I am 3 hours from the nearest streetlight in one of the worst roads in the province with terrible weather and all kinds of animals and I wish my headlights would shine higher and further than they do. Also Toyota needs to figure out a way to dim the backlighting on the door and console panel lights. I can dim the instrument cluster and screen but the other buttons are blinding in the dead of night. I usually end up carrying a roll of electrical tape with me and covering the bulbs and icons before I leave so I can see outside.
Left side of the steering wheel where you switch on your normal lights. On the most inner most setting there is an OFF and light indicator. Twist it from OFF to ON.
I think the Japanese Manufacturers have lighting down. The standard lights on my wife’s 2017 Nissan were easily twice better than my Ram’s and now our 2023 wrangler lights are the most pathetic since something from the 80’s. We decided to upgrade after the first night drive!🇺🇸💪
@@JB_WhoWork yep halogens on the wrangler. My ram came with projectors but halogen Bulbs🤦♂️ I put Diode Dynamics HIDs in which should have come from the factory!
A bit of a let down on the interior lighting… feels dated already. For the price of this truck, and compared to Ram & Ford, I think Toyota could have tried just a little harder… I understand simplicity, but at the price point, I would expect a bit more.
issue number one the interior plastic scratches so easily and fit and finish kit that good …rear window rubber trims comes off the windows all the time ! With only 6500k wheel flare fends are warping and separation is happen alowing mud and sand to get in between the paint and plastic acting like sandpaper , wait and buy …2025 …don’t get me wrong all new vehicles are engineered too make car companies money ,..,, Cheap plastic push pins to hold everything together now
The Platinum trim has the ambient lighting. It's very nice, the only complaint I have is you can't change it from the blue color.

I'm laughing at HID 5000k kit from early 2000s. Headlights have came a long way. Nothing beats those German lights!

Did your Jeep have the Halogen headlights? Yea those are terrible and my 2018 RAM got a full projector upgrade when I got it 🇺🇸💪🏾

There should be a light in the foot well when the doors are open (it shuts off when the doors are closed). At least, that's how it works on my Tundra.

With a Toyota you can see in the rain to drive where most headlights are useless

It’s nice to see full LED but you’re right, the Capstone has ambient lighting but who wants to spend more money for a small feature?
To be fair , only the higher Ford trims like lariat and up have the ambient lighting only not the lower trims either
