    Now that's some high quality stuff here.
    Just finished my first read of the Discourse of the method and I'm really in love with Descartes philosophy
    It even helped me to get a better grasp of Hegel's philosophy

      Well, Whitehead thougth that all of western philosophy is but footnotes to all the works of Plato. :)

    ?? It was in the beginning of the 1500's Galileo Galilei was interrogated by the Catholic Church. About Earth not being the enter of the universe and so on.

      Ehm, Galileo was born 1564 according to wikipedia and Galileo later defended his views in Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems in 1632.
