Angie takes covers & Angelinalizes them & they become new & complete. You've done it now. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (120+ covers and original songs) and you will see! She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You felt that in this performance for sure (and thank you for that)! She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by herself on piano, or in front of a 100 piece military band. Gerard Roll I loved their audition more than anything. The surprise factor was off the charts. In a group of sisters you figure one or two strong singers, and the others more back-up, than soloists. But with them, they proved that all 4 of them are fantastic.

Nice reaction! She did get the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. This show was called AGT: The Champions and she appeared on the show on January 2020. She went straight to the Finals. It was shocking that she placed 6th in the competition, but her popularity exploded after her performance her in the U.S. She has tons of music here on TH-cam. She does covers and has some originals as well. She is currently 14 years old now and has signed a record deal with Republic Records. She just released her new single called Million Miles in which she wrote as a dedication to her grandpa who passed away and to those who have lost loved ones and are dealing with their pain. This girl is amazing and there are tons of TH-cam reactors that watch and review her videos. Angelina was born in Oslo, Norway on January 10, 2006 (currently 14) She achieved international fame after winning Norway's Got Talent in 2014. She's primarily a Jazz stylist , but her voice is very versatile and can sing in many different genres. Angelina writes all her own arrangements, plays multiple instruments, and speaks 3 languages. She signed with Republic Records earlier this year and just released a new single "Million Miles" which she wrote for her grandfather who had recently passed away. She wrote a book "Between Two Hearts" when she was 9, making her the youngest published author in Norwegian history. This book recounts Angelina's encounter with a homeless girl while traveling with her family in the Middle East at age 6. She noticed the poor girl didn't have any shoes and that her feet were scarred and cold. After talking with the poor girl for a bit, she complimented Angelina's shoes, noting how pretty they were, so Angelina gave them to her. The poor girl was overwhelmed and said that she would pray for Angelina, and hoped that Angelina wouldn't forget her. Angelina promised that she wouldn't and to this day, always performs barefoot when on stage in remembrance of all the children in the world that suffer from poverty and neglect. She has since gone on to raise millions of dollars for various children's charities. Hi Guys, great idea doing a reaction on an Angelina cover song, she is quite amazing. Now do yourselves a favour and find out about her history. I can believe that you didn't even bother to find out how old she is. This 14 year old young lady is a phenomenon with over 130+ covers and several of her own releases. She can take most singers to school and her covers are at least as good as the originals and usually better. Enjoy the journey.
OK, here's the plan. Listen to her other 2 songs on AGT since you started there. Next would be "I Put a Spell on You'" the black and white version at 9 years old. Then all 4 songs in order on Norway's Got Talent 2014 at 7 and 8 years old. She has songs at 1 1/2, 5 and 6 years old really worth listening to first to see her ability at such a young age and developement. Then you have about 125 covers and a few original songs to listen to. 1 reaction a day should only take you about half a year to complete them all.

angelina wouldn't sign with AGT until they released her from any and all contract obligations. never had a chance to win because she was not going to sign a deal with them. she won all the independent polls easily. they even leaked her second song " yellow brick road " days b4 show aired for ratings. she did this show 4 2 reasons... ( 1 ) at 3 she told her mother that she wanted to sing for simon to impress him ...they were watching the X factor. ( 2 ) she was looking for a vehicle for exposure in the US...

I hope you do more of her she was talented even as a 7 year old, you should check out some of her earlier things or if you want she recently (in the last couple weeks) released her first single for Republic Records called "Million Miles" a song that she wrote about her grandfather. Anything you do by her will wow you for sure. If you want to check out Norway's Got Talent videos for her my favorite is Summertime, or her first song that got her on the show which was a cover of Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. And if you wanna hear some really amazing vocals one of my favorite songs she has sang is a cover of Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind.

Not that it makes any difference, but she initially auditioned for Norway's Got Talent when she was 7, but had already turned 8 for the second audition and following performances. America's Got Talent - The Champions II was "taped" in the fall of 2019 when she was 13 but not aired until 2014. She did not win or even place in the top 5 against jugglers, clowns, acrobats, etc. who would be a great hit in Las Vegas. It didn't matter since she got the American exposure that she needed to move on. And even though I scoffed at Howie's comments, I think it became true since she recently signed with Republic Records as a "Highest Priority New Artist." I recently read that her new original song, Million Miles, was completed before she signed with Republic. In my 80+ years, I have never come across anyone else with the raw talent, unusual and beautiful voice, and outstanding ability as Angelina. She can be compared to other singers as the 3D version of them. And no one hardly ever mentions her age anymore - her deliveries are way beyond 99% of professional singers today.

At the age of 6 years old and while travelling with her family in another country, she met a young orphaned shoeless girl that was weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn some coins to support herself and her siblings. Angelina went to talk to her and noticed that she had scars on her feet. Without prompting from her family, she removed her shoes and gave them to the orphaned girl. That evening she recorded that in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot to honour that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. She published a book about that encounter at the age of 9 making her the youngest published author in Norway’s history. She speaks several languages and plays several instruments. She performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert at the age of 8. She performed for Quincy Jones at his 85th birthday celebration in London at the O2 arena. She performed for president Obama and others at the Brilliant Minds conference. Most of her performances are for charitable organizations. To date she has raised more than 23 million euros for different charities. After turning several offers from major music labels as well as Disney for several years in order for her to have a normal childhood, she recently signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. If you never heard her before, you better hang on. This was great, BUT it probably wasn't even her best performance on AGT and she for sure has done better with some of her others outside of AGT. Try SHIELD or her newest just released by Republic MILLION MILES. You can try WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, or THE SHOW MUST GO ON. She does a great job with SUMMERTIME and FEELING GOOD is pretty good too. Remember she was and is young, but don't let that cloud your judgement. She more than holds her own against anyone. You'll be hearing her name a lot. She has tons of covers. Pick one, any one and you won't be sorry. If you liked the original, you'll love her version of it. Try one of her Adele covers and see for yourself.

Angie takes covers & Angelinalizes them & they become new & complete. She chooses all her own songs & does all her own arrangements ever since she was very young, even when she did “Screaming Jay Hawkins “I put a spell on you” at barely 9 which you 2 loved. On AGT Angie made her outfit from patterns of her grandma's art work. She makes several of her other outfits for shows & concerts too. She also paints great, plays 4 instruments & speaks & sings 4+ languages, English being her 3rd or 4th. Angie turned 15 on 1-10-21 & she’s 6 ft tall. Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, humble & big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds” & was/is the youngest to be published in Norway. Others will explain this or you can look it up. You've done it now. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (120+ covers and original songs) and you will see! Yes, you should take a look at more from Angelina - her audition in Norway at 7yo (Gloomy Sunday by Billie Holliday) and she won the show with "Summertime" - both amazing. She has so many great performances - I realy like Feeling Good (10yo) and A Million Years Ago or Born to Die (11 or 12yo). Her future is going to be big!
This was at the end of last year. In January Angelina turned 14 years old. Angelina started singing at 1 and a half years old. By the age of 3 she was listening to all of the jazz greats thanks to her grandmother. She auditioned at NGT at the age of 7 singing Gloomy Sunday by Billie Holiday. On her time at NGT Angelina sang I'm A Fool to Want You, acapella. Bang Bang, Nancy Sinatra version and Summer Time by George Gershwin.
Angelina is a prodigy. Angelina also plays piano, guitar, violin and flute.

Gerard Roll I loved their audition more than anything. The surprise factor was off the charts. In a group of sisters you figure one or two strong singers, and the others more back-up, than soloists. But with them, they proved that all 4 of them are fantastic.

I hope you continue to discover her, I think it's really worth it, she is so unique, as a person and as an artist. I thinks that you can be impressed by the fact that Angelina at only 13 years old was able to face a challenge with such an iconic song as this and made her become her own song, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation and a great courage to take him to one of the most difficult audiences of the show. The best of Angelina ... is Angelina, 😆 🤗 She searched her way for her version of the song and chose the lyrics that fit. Simply, changing the times and the reading key, based on her ability to understand and elaborate the song which, for a girl of that age, is almost supernatural, she created HER Bohemia Rhapsody. The 3 year old little girl in Norway had a dream, while watching the Talents on TV, to sing one day for Simon, I would say that after only 10 years she achieved it really well, she fascinated him.

Nice reaction! She did get the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. This show was called AGT: The Champions and she appeared on the show on January 2020. She went straight to the Finals. It was shocking that she placed 6th in the competition, but her popularity exploded after her performance her in the U.S. She has tons of music here on TH-cam. She does covers and has some originals as well. She is currently 14 years old now and has signed a record deal with Republic Records. She just released her new single called Million Miles in which she wrote as a dedication to her grandpa who passed away and to those who have lost loved ones and are dealing with their pain. This girl is amazing and there are tons of TH-cam reactors that watch and review her videos. This book recounts Angelina's encounter with a homeless girl while traveling with her family in the Middle East at age 6. She noticed the poor girl didn't have any shoes and that her feet were scarred and cold. After talking with the poor girl for a bit, she complimented Angelina's shoes, noting how pretty they were, so Angelina gave them to her. The poor girl was overwhelmed and said that she would pray for Angelina, and hoped that Angelina wouldn't forget her. Angelina promised that she wouldn't and to this day, always performs barefoot when on stage in remembrance of all the children in the world that suffer from poverty and neglect. She has since gone on to raise millions of dollars for various children's charities.
It's very unusual for someone so young to be so empathetic towards others, but it gives some insight into the type of person that she is.

Hi Guys, great idea doing a reaction on an Angelina cover song, she is quite amazing. Now do yourselves a favour and find out about her history. I can believe that you didn't even bother to find out how old she is. This 14 year old young lady is a phenomenon with over 130+ covers and several of her own releases. She can take most singers to school and her covers are at least as good as the originals and usually better. Enjoy the journey.

When I stumbled on Angelina 3 years ago, I couldn't believe my eyes/ears, so I binged on her for about 6 hours into early morning. I couldn't stop. I'm still going. I recommend before you go back to her early works (7-9) you watch her 1st released single under her new label, Republic Records. It's called Million Miles & is dedicated to her maternal Grandpa who passed 2 years ago, but she said it's for anyone who has lost a loved one. angelina wouldn't sign with AGT until they released her from any and all contract obligations. never had a chance to win because she was not going to sign a deal with them. she won all the independent polls easily. they even leaked her second song " yellow brick road " days b4 show aired for ratings. she did this show 4 2 reasons... ( 1 ) at 3 she told her mother that she wanted to sing for simon to impress him ...they were watching the X factor. ( 2 ) she was looking for a vehicle for exposure in the US...

You need to check out Angelina Jordan's Million Miles liv in studio version. She wrote it when she was 14 for her grandfather after he passed away. The difference in her between her America's Got Talent performance and this one is impressive.

I hope you do more of her she was talented even as a 7 year old, you should check out some of her earlier things or if you want she recently (in the last couple weeks) released her first single for Republic Records called "Million Miles" a song that she wrote about her grandfather. Anything you do by her will wow you for sure. If you want to check out Norway's Got Talent videos for her my favorite is Summertime, or her first song that got her on the show which was a cover of Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. And if you wanna hear some really amazing vocals one of my favorite songs she has sang is a cover of Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind.

I like your reactions. Not that it makes any difference, but she initially auditioned for Norway's Got Talent when she was 7, but had already turned 8 for the second audition and following performances. America's Got Talent - The Champions II was "taped" in the fall of 2019 when she was 13 but not aired until 2014. She did not win or even place in the top 5 against jugglers, clowns, acrobats, etc. who would be a great hit in Las Vegas. It didn't matter since she got the American exposure that she needed to move on. And even though I scoffed at Howie's comments, I think it became true since she recently signed with Republic Records as a "Highest Priority New Artist." I recently read that her new original song, Million Miles, was completed before she signed with Republic.
In my 80+ years, I have never come across anyone else with the raw talent, unusual and beautiful voice, and outstanding ability as Angelina. She can be compared to other singers as the 3D version of them. And no one hardly ever mentions her age anymore - her deliveries are way beyond 99% of professional singers today.
She should have won this contest..

I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me before 2014 .
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".

You have just discovered the best singer in the world and as a 66 years old that has been involved in music for most of my life, I don’t say that lightly.

Angelina Jordan always barefoot when she sings in public. At the age of 6 years old and while travelling with her family in another country, she met a young orphaned shoeless girl that was weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn some coins to support herself and her siblings. Angelina went to talk to her and noticed that she had scars on her feet. Without prompting from her family, she removed her shoes and gave them to the orphaned girl. That evening she recorded that in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot to honour that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. She published a book about that encounter at the age of 9 making her the youngest published author in Norway’s history. She speaks several languages and plays several instruments. She performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert at the age of 8. She performed for Quincy Jones at his 85th birthday celebration in London at the O2 arena.
She performed for president Obama and others at the Brilliant Minds conference. Most of her performances are for charitable organizations. To date she has raised more than 23 million euros for different charities.
After turning several offers from major music labels as well as Disney for several years in order for her to have a normal childhood, she recently signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. She just released a song “Million Miles” under that label.

If you never heard her before, you better hang on. This was great, BUT it probably wasn't even her best performance on AGT and she for sure has done better with some of her others outside of AGT. Try SHIELD or her newest just released by Republic MILLION MILES. You can try WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, or THE SHOW MUST GO ON. She does a great job with SUMMERTIME and FEELING GOOD is pretty good too. Remember she was and is young, but don't let that cloud your judgement. She more than holds her own against anyone. You'll be hearing her name a lot. She has tons of covers. Pick one, any one and you won't be sorry. If you liked the original, you'll love her version of it. Try one of her Adele covers and see for yourself.
