Grunion Run at Cabrillo Beach 4/2/22 pt. 1

My first grunion run. I had thought of going to Seal Beach at first, but glad I stopped here instead. I'll probably check out Seal Beach next time. We arrived around 11 PM and according to the Fish and Wildlife schedule, today was 10:50 PM to 12:50 AM. Today was a new moon. April through May are observation months only which means you can't catch and keep them. March, June through August are fine, but you'll need a fishing license. Only can use a bucket and your hands.
