  • I wanted to address some comments on prior guide videos on how non-modding players can better construct the structures from those guides. In the video I go over Stackable Conveyor Poles and the ramp foundations from the AWESOME Shop.
    SHOULD you want to mod your game for easier construction. Head the following link to download the Satisfactory Mod Manager and check out either the PAK Utilities mod or the Area Actions mod to enable flying. ficsit.app/

    One thing I didn't know at first was the hotkeys for transferring items from storage. I had been double-clicking on the items. Instead, SHIFT + the chosen item will transfer the one stack. CTRL + the item transfers all the stacks in that storage. At first, I thought you had to hold CTRL and drag the items because that's what it says to do. Actually, all you need to do is hold CTRL or SHIFT and click the item. Sooooo much easier.

    Firstly, thank you for taking time out to make these informative videos. Myself was at a lost onto how to get building thses mega factories. Thanks to your videos you have ease the transition. Now for those complicated builds, the ones with the manufacturer, oil to fuel...
    I am in awe of these builds...
    Thank you

      Those complicated builds will be addressed in the future. There’s a bit more content I want to create guides for first leading into those larger builds. I’m also not entirely sure how I want to approach complicated builds yet. I need to find a way to condense the information to keep video length short but at the same time not skipping over vital information and key points for the viewer. Glad these videos are helpful.

    Holy crap.. I thought that double ramp was 2 ramps together that make a square with no angle! I thought what the hell am I ever going to need that for? I could just build a normal foundation. The amount of time I have spent building ramp, foundation, ramp, foundation!! I'm super annoyed but thank you for showing this!

    Awesome videos. I’ve used one of your designs. I have a large storage area I go to, to keep my resources. My problem is getting the stuff from the factory to my storage area. My base is complete spaghetti!!! I want to see your base and maybe some tips on how to organise things?!? Also I liked some of your funny outtakes from another video. I think you should keep that up!

    Dang the double ramps is huge. I’ve had them for a good while and haven’t thought to deploy them like that. I like the idea of keeping space between so you could run your lifts easier.

    Can not express how enjoyable and how helpful your videos are, being a newby i am not up to this stage as yet but have decided to maybe start from scratch using your iron and copper starter videos. One question if you have time , These wonderful guide videos are great but once you have all the goodies in various storage containers, rod, screw plates and stuff how do use it from there, like the next stage, , do you just someway belt them over to the next stage or? anyway thanks heaps for you time with these great videos. Pete

    • @Scalti
      @Scalti  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Always great to receive this type of feedback. Glad this have been helpful. In terms of the ‘next stage’, the iron and copper factories are intend to be you building storage used for building the next stage. My thought behind those videos was to provide a ‘base’ model for the players to then innovate on top of for themselves. I want to leave some of the problem solving up to you as I find it a key aspect of the game and I don’t want to steal that. It can boil down to give a man a fish he can eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he’ll never go hungry.

    I make a platform all around it with foundations and ramps so i can circle around building stuff and then delete it all at the end, and most of the times I add some walkways around with access to each floor, they look nice and the railing dont let you fall when running around.. you can do them on the square inside the walls in your designs so you dont have to look at it but I actually like the looks.

      As you run around collecting leaves you’ll occasional get flower petals. Research those in the M.A.M. and you’ll unlock a tool that will allow you to do this. When you have it, you can change the upper left swatch to any color and it will update all your structures. It’s the default swatch and will automatically change the color of anything new you build too.

    Started playing some weeks ago and now that I am getting a bit more familiar with the basics, something I struggle with is uneven terrain. I don't know how to deal with all the hills and little bumps that are so frequent. Do I just build a foundation on the highest point and then all the rest will be hovering above ground or what? :S
