Lewis didn't outrun Leroy in the last 25m although it looked like he was going to when they got to 75m. Lewis didn't seem to struggle. It almost looked like he backed off a bit and let Leroy win. In 1991 he just stormed past. I wonder if he was letting Leroy, his friend and teammate, have a bit of glory in a non-championship year. Probably not, but it looked odd at the end of that race.
