Lerroy Burrel same story like Asafa Powel. Couple of times broke WR but never won gold at WC or Olympics
I mean he did win the gold in the 4x1 but individually he hasn't won gold
@@justhere7205 he won gold in 4x100m in 1992 Olympics, Powel did the same thing at Rio 2016 Olympics
To be fair he did break the world record in the 100 metres final in Tokyo 1991. Unfortunately for him so did Carl Lewis.
@@jackshit49 burrel didnt break WR in Tokyo 1991. Lewis did it. Burrel broke it outside Olympics or World Championship
@@kemybolt Yes he did the world record was 9.90 before the final. Burrel ran 9.88, Lewis 9.86. They both beat the world record, fact.

60m and 100m in 1991, 100m again in 1994. He helped set eight world records in the 4×100m and 4×200m relays.
Carl Lewis said Team USA didn't win the 100, 200, or 400 at the 2012 Olympics. But didnt Allyson Felix win the 200? And Sanya Richards Ross won the 400
