so bottom line guys: Linus is a cool dude (atleast when he is drunk) and the huawei P10 is like a mini mate 9. Front cam improved alot, rear camera not that much, but camera comparison coming. Upgrading from the Huawei P9 ? Nope, not for me.

Weird seeing the fingerprint reader on the front on a Huawei device, I hope its as good as previous fingerprint reader's they have designed. Looks like an really good phone, and what a good review!

not better, since the p10 is like a mini mate 9. It's different i would say :D Definitly, right now you don't see alot of them there i think, but they are growing so fast that I think it's just a matter of time.

The P10 seems boring but the P10 Plus still holds its own. The better lens, IP X3 Water Resistance, QHD Display, Plus Size, better wifi and the best of all, a better battery. Will have to wait for the Plus reviews before making the purchase
exactly. was disappointed by the camera of the p10, so i need to wait for the p10 plus. Will try to get a reviewsample as early as possible
***** It is quite surprising that those who attended the class by the pro Leica photographer like mrwhosetheboss and Michael Fisher could take stunning photos out of the phone. I think you'll have to spend more time with the camera to get better shots off of it, but one would better invest €50 more in the Plus which has significantly larger apertures and that might turn out to be the best smartphone camera till the S8 comes out
The photos are actually good. But nothing impressive what the mate 9 has not shown before.. S7 still does take better pictures on auto. For sure in pro mode and if you got good lighting you can get impressive results. Anyway, the dynamic range of the camera is super nice and the colors are more accurate than the s7 !
well thats cool and all but i think i will just stick with the P9 for now especially with the latest android/emui update :) maybe the P11 will justufy an upgrade

I like how it has 1080p res and not some gimmicky shit, similar to the gaming mouse dpi syndrome

what do you think about Huawei after 3 years?
getting more a premium brand. Miss a bit their old phones, but the p9 plus and mate 9 served me well. They claimed that their leica camera is even better than samsung, but still s7 rules them all. Nice phones, getting a bit expensive and that leica thingy could be better.
Any chance on getting your hands on a P10 Plus to see whether their claims on an improved camera there hold?

Yeah that's what i thought of p10 camera, it's the same as the mate 9 camera.Though they said this p10 can render 3d facial recognition very accurately so it is the best when you want to take portrait mode. And kinda disappointed a bit with P10 though since there's no major upgrade to this phone, yes the camera have been upgraded to 20mp and have OIS but it's just the same as the mate9 and based on this review the camera quality have been better but not that good or excellent. So basically it's almost the same as the mate 9 in terms of the camera sensor. But to compare it with last year P9, it's consider a good upgrade though. But the price not so much. So i think i'm gonna go with the cheaper P9 first and then wait for P11. haha
yea i took a couple of portraits and they are pretty good. well the OIS is as disappointing like in the Mate 9. Camera quality slightly better but thats it. I think if you dont have a p9, well the p10 is a great small formfactor phone. But if i would have a p9, i wouldnt sell it and get the p10.

well depends. but to be honest, back fingerprint on the mate 9 was very comfortable.
until you want to open the phone when it's lying on a table then the front fingerprint comes into it's own...LOL
TBH i got used to the front fingerprint feature on my OP3t you can reach it with your thumb so it's ok once you get used to it
