Hi, I have ALL THE VOLTAGES BUT STILL NO DISPLAY, the GPU gets hot now, very quick :) , quick story : I have the exact same card, I had almost the same thing, I replaced the APW8713 but it is actually good, put a 0 resistance on the same spot and now I have enable, all the voltage rails are in but still no display, same readings as yours but still no display ( I tested the 2R2 inductor I believe and it beeps on both ends, does it mean I have an issue with the buck converter ? ) I have all the voltages you measured, all but still no display A million thanks for what you do, at least now I have the enabling signal is that 0 resistance part, I have 0.9 on the display rail, all the voltages are the same for me, all is the same as you but I'm still not having a display and not detected at all . Thank you in advance

@@TechCemetery so it seems I have 12V, 3.3V, 5V and 1.8V, but I'm missing the display rail, where I get 0V. Resistance there is 25ohm so not shorted. You did great work, I appreciate it. I have one faulty card, xfx rx 580, and, as you explained, I measured resistance on the main points, so I found 0.7 (short circuit, I think) at Vddci. Bus voltage between memory and GPU core might be a heavy fault, or might be some another element in parallel. No burnt components were found. Any suggestions for the next step? Thanks a lot.
Hi man. Very good and useful video, continue like this. When I check 12 volts on PSI ,I get 0.33v, and at 3.3 I get 0.145v. The card works but the image freezes. Can the problem be with the memory chips, the CPU or something else .... your opinion. Thanks and this would help me a lot:::
I have two rx 470 xfx cards. Fans stop when the card is supposed to be detected. Vcore and mem both 12v and 3.3v are present. I have no idea where to find display rail. Also isnt a bios issue i dont think.
the resister is 10k, My card has all the base voltages ( 12, 3.3 , 5 and 1.8 ) but no mem control, vcore or mem core voltages. no shorts, suspect NCP81022. looking at datasheet now. any suggestions would be welcome. going to continue to watch it thru.
Well i got the powercolor RX 570 with the exact same problem as this video. I managed to solve everything exactly same as you until at this point im at the final part, the buck converter. Does vin and vcc always connected directly with 3.3v? If yes then well i have to order that buck converter. Edit : when the display rail is not present, the other voltages are showing normally and chip is getting hot. Oh also the owner mentioned before the card die like this it sometimes work and sometimes didn't.
VIN and VCC are not always 3.3V, I believe on some cards VCC is 5V. As for having every other power rail, on a Sapphire Nitro RX 580 the memory and memory controller can't power on without the PGOOD signal from the display rail buck converter. Where the GPU VRM doesn't turn on unless the memory VRM has a 1.5V output. I'm a little surprised your card powers the memory, GPU, and memory controller without the display rail.
@@TechCemetery POK does exist 3.3v, yes I'm also surprised when the gpu chip is getting hot and all voltages rail does exist except the display rail. Looks like everything is clear now and i need to wait for the buck converter, thanks for your help!

But here's the situation, the memory 1.5v is missing and rest of the voltage rail only appears when the bios is posting, when it beeps and boot all voltage rails are gone. Any ideas why? This probably gonna be my last attempt before give up, thanks. The resistance from memory to ground is 17 ohm which is pretty normal i think, and it's the samsung memory.
Hi, I need help for an identical graphics card, at the output point of the b1117-adj it measures 3.2v and 553ohms but it does not turn on the mosfets, do you have a tip to check?
I don't believe so, PWROK ( Pin 1) is considered an output, but as far as I can tell, it's boosted to 3.3V by the PCIe slot through a 10k ohm resistor. If you have 3.3V on pin 5, you should be worried.
My xfx rx580 start artifacting and my Pc crashes after 1 - 2 hours of use The only visible problem i saw is that one of the fans are spinning slower probally getting faulty.
