Great to see. I like the fact that use other pieces to make rares and not just reskin the same model different colors. Gives them a little uniqueness and also makes them feel a part of the same faction having some of the same gear.
Mr. Simon I feel like FATELESS is already disrupting the dark fantasy RPG genre of the mobile / across platform industry. So what what it’s worth, your unreleased game is a complete success!, bravo, bravo to you and your team. I am excited to play this game and I feel like I am going to love this game when it’s released.
I'm not sure if this problem still persists, but back in the day I used to play Smite. One of the gods in the game is Isis and whenever Content creators would say her name their videos would get demonetized for whatever reason. Just a heads up.
love artists approach to discovering their vision - the details and 3d come last then the mobility so advanced compared to when Disney pioneered this process.
I love how the team can break down and simplify the process quickly showing us details in what I'm assuming is a very time consuming and sometimes boring process. Keep them coming, I'm all for this look into your game and it does nothing but make me want this game more and more!
0:59 Anubis update looks insane btw! To able to watch and see this whole process that Alex does was.. for lack of better words just absolutely mesmerising! So awesome to see where the foundations of a characters design starts and really makes you appreciate the end product so much more! Such a cool video to show us fans, thanks Fateless! 🔥🙏
the models looks amazing, raid should be sweating One suggestion I have that bother me alot is how much Raid copy and pastes skill animations. I hope you'll make unique ones. At least for legos
Anubis and Osiris look amazing and the new rear looks good can’t wait to see the finalized version after all the revision I always love seeing a artist process.
Simon, use the gods of Mesopotamia, no one tried it Mesopotamia have many gods like Nebuchadnezzar, Ishtar, Gilgamesh, Lilith, Inanna, Enlil, etc... so many resources man dig into it.
The game thus far looks like a copy & paste of Raid & while that formula is viable I am more interested in seeing any USP in the game mechanics. Hopefully Fateless will not keep their cards too close to themselves, but I guess ideas can be usurped by bigger franchises UNLESS some type of copyright is viable? What I would like to see in terms of new game mechanics, & I hasten to add despite the technical advancements in gaming, very few games have this, & fewer have implemented it well. That is the AI generating random battle grounds so that no 2 battlefields look the same. For a mobile game there are obvious limitations but I can see various ways this could be implemented. Weather conditions, Night/day cycles and/or small animations inserted to give some randomness. Even just make some combat with a random generation of a boss should not be beyond the scope of a mobile game.
If you're basing the characters on real-world civilizations, as well-known and reasonably well-researched, there really isn't much of a reason to force your artists to guess the colors from some dodgy pictures from the internet. There are probably tons of academic works on what materials they had available, what colors they used, and more. These things are known. No need to guess. Just saying, it may even make your efforts a bit easier.
For talented artists there is value to also adding your own touch of creativity and skill to the design. Sometimes a straight copy would feel perhaps a bit dull, but adding to it whilst respecting the original and the culture behind it can make the design even more special.
@@FatelessGames Absolutely agree. Nobody wants a perfect copy in a game. Do your thing, make the color palette completely different, if you choose to do so. It was more of a reaction to the mood board, the artist guessing the shade of blue and stuff. Give him the shade of blue, let him take inspiration, and if you then decide red is the color that much better suits the feel you want to go for, so be it...
So far, the art is really terrible. None of the shown heroes make me wanna spend money to get them. Sorry, honest truth. They have no spark, even the hero you draw. Just know she has no spark; very dull.
awesome to see Alex at work, like, sub and share if you want to see more~!
loved it when alex called her by her german name which is Nofretete :)
Really not used to "this is Simon..."
this is HELL SIMON!

Glad you like it!
We love these art drops! Such an amazing process and so skillful!
Thank you! It's to cool to see the actual work being done, very fascinating.
Alex is an absolute beast! Really appreciate everything he does!! Aaru is my favorite (for obvious reasons). You said Nefertiti perfectly ;)

I like the confidence in you Sigma. Looking forward to how the community welcomes our game once its done!

Thanks, good to jnow
Gamers and developers didn't invent the Goddess, Isis... 🤨 I'm guessing it's related to the terrorist group, which is unfortunate...
@@Radude88 Don't have to guess. That's exactly why.
@@FatelessGames they changed the name to Eset if you were wondering, also.
Awesome video, great seeing behind the scenes and really appreciate the artists taking the time to make videos to show us these sneak peeks.
Thank you, glad you liked it! Alex is so good!

Appreciate the kind words John. It's a bit lets say tedious at times, but with the bigger picture in mind it barely feels like work.

We have plenty but will keep those close for now until we are closer to launch
Nefertiti a rare!?!?
😱did we do her dirty?
