Arthur of Camelot would be my guess
That Green Knight is 10/10... i think modeler used different materials for armor which makes him "feel" more realistic than other armors i saw so far... maybe just my personal taste, but in my opinion, thats the right direction to go.. great job! ❤

The brainstorming that went into King Arthur's cloak and shield seriously paid off. What brilliant ideas to incorporate the portcullis and crenellations from the walls/towers. Even his expression shows a lot of work went into infusing him with determination tinged with the pain of what he endured.
I feel King Arthur himself looks great, BUT Excalibur the most iconic weapon from all genres of media is just a plane boring sword. I am hoping you are keeping that as a surprise for us when it launches because if that’s the Excalibur that launches with the game this is a huge miss for such a iconic hero and weapon.

The champ that you showed at the start was it Richard the Lion Heart but the game is coming along and looking amazing.

I wanted to add I’m currently playing raid across 34 different accounts all my own & all made by me.. yes it’s a lot 🤦🏼♂️ this was to test the games RNG for gear & shard/champ drops based on individual accounts.. and have learnt a lot by doing so 😏
I do still very much enjoy Raid.. however after watching/playing countless hours the game is just so flawed and yet could have been a true masterpiece for its genre… that’s where I think you and your team are going to bring us something way beyond the reach of what raid could have ever have achieved 💯
Also I would love to join the team as a volunteer if there are any spots in character design 😉
First off I like to say... when you first announced yall dropping a game I was so excited. Now that you are bring us into the building with the community is A1 love it. And lastly visuals might not b done I know that, but they are amazing already❤💯.

Excalibur needs some love. King Arthur looks amazing, but it seems like his sword is very basic compared to the rest of his armor

is this guna be like raid (in terms of combat and how the fights go)??? i really hope so. Theres a reason Raid is the only mobile game ive played for more than a month(been playing for 4 years now). I dont play Dragonheir or summoner's war or star wars galaxy of heroes or Marvel Heroes anymore(i wuit them all no more than a month into it) simple because the combat compared to raid SUCKS, i HATE games where the combat is done for me and each hero only has 1 ability(their ult) - its NOT fun and has ZERO strategy! Sure raid can be played on Auto but there is so much strategy with heroes having multiple abilities and because it is TURN BASED. Dragonheir and AFK Journey suck because they are just auto battlers there is no strategy outside of who u choose, the game is played for you. i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope u guys dont go down that path and make the combat like raid. If you do then i think you have a GREAT future. if you do choose to be like dragonheir then i fear your potential has a much lower ceiling. Theres so many more things i want to say(gear system, upgrade system, skilling system, bosses, campaign, pvp, guild stuff, how summoning works, etc etc) but this is by far the most important thing about the game. Also PLEASE dont do summoning like Marvel and other games where u summon "fragments" or "pieces" of a champion - that is NOT exciting AT ALL. "OH MY GOSH I SUMMONED 30 PIECES OF SPIDERMAN YAYY!!!" haha that is so dumb. Plz do it like raid or watcher of realms where its just the champion and thats it. (ofc u can add an ascending system later)
It will be more similar to Raid combat systems with a group of abilities to choose from.

@@jaybees5734 I fully agree that the shield was given to much attention, I especially feel it was a shame that in a showcase of King Arthur that excalibur was essencially neglected and only given a throw away line.
It is like watching a Thor showcase without Mjolnir

I know you said y'all wouldn't do skins for commons, and I can see why you wouldn't do that for the players, but doing simple color changes might be a good way to add variety to the game. Like you said, you'll see them in tons of places, so why not have them be different colors? Maybe it's a different color per location, or maybe each time it's random. It would add some uniqueness like the interchangeable map pieces.
If you don't have skins for the uncommons/common, maybe just have them as 3 different versions of the same hero that you summon. So you randomly get one of the three colors when you summon them.
King Arthur looks badass, I agree with other comments that the sword needs to be more distinct. The graphics are looking sweet.

Really like how Excalibur is simple contrasting K. Arthur’s ornatene armor. Shield being “Camelot” is an awesome idea. Love how Juggernaut-like the Green Knight is coming. So dope. Mordred and FisherKing are very cool. They seem to have very similar color scheme. I liked aspects of the red MordRED and think blood red highlights to his armor would look sweet and distinguish him more from FisherKing. Dagone is a great pull from legends. I know the builds are on a certain “physique” but hope Dagone ends up skinny.

Everything is looking great. Can't wait to see all the champions and factions in game! King Arthur is looking really cool, I love the idea for the shield. Keep up the great work, you all are doing fantastic.
So so so cool. Love this faction. I love how all these champions are characters we already know, in a lore sense, but they're reimagined in this cool new art style. I mean just the concept and visuals are enough to get me super excited about this game. Then to know how important the game modes and game play are to you guys. We all know from watching you and your team cover Raid for so many years, that you have a very good and deep understanding of how these games work and what makes them fun... I mean wow. This is starting to feel like the holy grail of gotcha games. Once it comes out, why would I ever play anythign else.
I've played a lot of gachas over the past few years, and could never get into raid as the new player experience is abysmall in my opinion. I believe there is a huge gap for realistic looking gachas in the market with good monetization. And from the looks, it seems like you have everything you need to suceed. A great team, an amazing vision and all the experienced creators to back you up.

I am sure you are fed up of peoples ideas but I will add one anyway. You could have a mechanic where King Arthur has a standard (but still badass) Sword but If he is teamed up with The Lady of the Lake in the same team then he gets excalibur and his stats get boosted.
They all look awesome, just one thing bugging me... The knee to foot length is slightly out of proportion .. not trying to be negative in any way, it just looks a little off.. I know you and your team are pouring your heart and soul into this! Can't wait for the game to drop! Best of luck to you all!
This may be a strange suggestion but look at yakuza ike a dragons combat perspectives achieving that would set this game apart and get me hooked.
Also its combat elements like gaining summons you can call on after defeating helping or progressing as one off cinematic moves.
I know skins are an easy money maker in these sort of games, but maybe consider having a way to dye gear a different color like you can do in a game like Diablo 4. You can still do different skins to give them a whole different look, but it would be cool to be able to change the color of the original skin at least. You literally just showed how easy it is to change the color scheme.

I thought of an interesting mechanic that would be sweet if it was added in.
In destiny (online console game) you can get “exotic weapons” that are single weapons with unique perks (rocket launcher that breaks into mini heat seeking rockets on impact).
You could add this in, such as Zeus’ lightning that chains single target damage on the first hit.
These are obtained through raids which are 6 player co-op dungeon campaign and drop randomly.
If you could add in exotic and a dungeon where you have to go in live with other members of the clan that would be dope
The base of this idea is actually golden ⭐️

King Arthur looks sick! Love the visuals for this faction and super excited for whats to come. If you're looking for ideas on what his special attacks could look like, there's an anime called Fate/Stay that has a female version of King Arthur that has a really cool attack (they call it a noble phantasm) where she swings excalibur down that looks super sweet. It's also similar to how Septimus does his A2 in Raid. Now that I'm thinking about it Fate/Stay's story utilizes a lot of heroes of legends like you are doing with your game so you could probably get a few inspirations from that show.

All these look great. How is it designing characters for a mainly human faction, like here. Compared to factions with Gods like the Greeks?

Man you guys are killing it! Wow. Seeing King Arthur fully rendered is an absolute treat. You guys have to offer high quality 3D statues of your in-game champs for purchase once the game releases. So, cool.
Excalibur needs a much better design, from my point of view the sword should stand up much more that the shield on Arthur

Do they really need to put a blinking "WORK IN PROGRESS, DESIGN NOT FINALIZED" in 72pt font on every video? Several parts are still placeholder stuff, on everything they show.
Even when the playable alpha (and beta) comes out, many things will still be partially or mostly placeholder stuff as they open up for wider testing.
@@suntiger745 No, they don't. But ignoring a characters most iconic feature in a showcase is just bad, you should lead with the iconic feature not ignore it. If you showcase King Arthur, highlight Excalibur, if you showcase Thor highlight Mjolnir so on and so forth, it doesn't matter that the visuals are a work in progress, show them, they are what people are excited about. If you showcase a character and their most iconic feature is lackluster it is really noticeable. I would rather see 2D itterations on Excalibur than the shield or cape, as those features are not what king Arthur is about.

green knight was the best design. actually unique and different, simple but concise. I think the Avalon faction needs some more consolidation and focus on theme. The hero designs are all over the place
