The split screen viewing of the event was awesome. Great to watch the overall action while watching you in the drivers seat. Every derby should be like this. Looks like you had a ton of fun!

Keeping low and take the opportunities that suddenly drive by seems like a smart strajedy. Looking over the competion and sizing up the competion might help.You get an idea who drives smarter than the rest.

That car is most definitely worth running again those Chevy hhr are hard in the rear
In the upper Midwest of Minnesota the demo derby's dont run those types of atv style bogging tires.
They run whatever is on there, mostly bald tires and space saver spare tires.
I loved it from the flat lands in illinois .

Tip number one.... NO plastic tanks.. Your friends should know that if they do demos and judging by the cars they built they do. All it takes is one bad piece of sheet metal to cut that :/

Always make sure you have something sharp and quick to cut the seatbelt in the event of an emergency the seat belts have a tendonsy to get jammed up ! good luck on the next one! thank you grayce!

Hose clamps are available with stainless steel screw or mild steel….difference is stainless has a bigger driver size.

nice first time out..use your back end as a pusher and try to keep the front axle from being hit, yes it is hard not to take a axle shot b/c everyone knows if you take out the axle the car is done..i would ask some of the other youtubers that derby on a regular basis how they beef up the axles..i can name a few if you're not sure who they are..sendin yall love from Bama
They don't beef up the axles they do protect their axles by using their driver door as a shield and also using the arena too their advantage by having the passenger side against the walls and they wait for opportunities too take well placed shots with cars that stalled out or are hung up.
