I wish you had provided the image so we could follow along with this video, beside this you are a genius, always a blast to watch you.
lastly what do you recommend on where to save blender setting programs location plugins etc if let's say. our PC crashed and we have to reinstall windows and blender but do not want to reinstall all these plugins all over again?
Generating AI images does get mega boring. It's always more rewarding and exciting when you do the work yourself as one is essentially developing a skill.

That is a an incredible compliment- wow. I actually felt I didn’t do the workflow justice as I’m currently quite poorly I’m allergic to my own immune system. So some days struggle, filming this I wasn’t doing too well. But reading this had made it worth while.

@@promptmuse I have problem with the blender version of Fspy. I followed your instructions before installing it, then after located the download folder,I loaded it before installing it .
It's invisible, cannot find it. Why? Is it because am using the latest version of blender?
@@rebecavillanova7622 Hey, did you unzip it? You need to keep it as a .zip file and install it through blender.
@@promptmuse I fix the problem,am using a Mac with the latest MacOS and I had to download an additional flag and "voilà", it's working.

Just discovered your channel, it's amazing!! Wondering tough if there is any way to get a game-ready character for Unreal, from consistent poses of an AI character? What I mean is without having to go through MetaHuman which will make the character real-looking...
I personally use Character Creator, it's quite pricey but depends on what budget you are working with. I think thats why alot of ppl go with metahumans as its free.
I've been doing this using depth maps. I can't wait to try your method, I think the results will be even better. We are going to start seeing so many Ai created short films! Thankls for all your hardwork.

This is such a game changer.. Been working with 3d for over a decade and truly know the time, hard work, love and passion required for a good scene. The amount of time a 3d artist can save with AI is just illegal

@@SwedishLatino There were artists before AI.. yes, it was good but industry doesnt always use blender, they are mostly using paid, maybe even under the radar stuff or specifically designed software for film a normal human doesnt have access to.
@@niefali no.. it's just projection mapping using an AI image (which could have been a photo, a drawing, or a 3d render)
Anyone with a MAC having problems adding on the files to blender? It says I added it and then doesn't appear on the list

I couldn't get it to work: After installing fSpy-Blender-master, it didn't turn up in the list of add-ons. I tried Blender both as administrator and without, I tried installing is from another directory, fSpy didn't show up in add-ons. But it was nice to see how you did it any ways.

Another fantastic tutorial, you have inspired me to do something creative, if I was being super critical you do sometimes rush through a couple of bits of your tutorials which make it hard to follow for newbies. I tried your Ai to 3D character tutorial last weekend, your vids 30 mins, it took me ten hours to complete 😂, but I was so happy with the results and I’m sure I’ll be much quicker next time 🙏

Great tutorial, thanks a lot. Nero AI is dodgy though. Ive registered but it didnt give 5 free credits as it promised, it asked me a fiver instead. I made another account, the site forced me to subscribe to their newsletter but gave me 0 credit again. Unscrubscribe and delete my accounts then find a working upscaler.
Yeah, I have no links with them i.e they didn’t pay or anything for me to mention them. I just found them. It’s not very obvious where to get the free credit from, but if you click on the upscaler and from that page their is a gift icon at the top. Click that and that will give you your 5 free credits each day 👍👍👍👍
nah! if you have still go through all that jazz anyways, i think your better off just modelling the whole scene! ai just isn't there yet! wait a couple more years. but for now your stuck doing it the old way.

edit: There is an advantage to after effects, you can animate your still images in 2D (like I did with the waterfall and lagoon using puppet pins, loop blends and masks) and have the changes in 3D be in realtime, without needing to render and project a mp4. Very spescific usecase though ^^

If you came here because the change at 12:54 didn't show you adding material to the scene, change it to "Viewport shading" which will show up. (It's the 3rd ball in the upper right corner)

This is a great tutorial and I'm trying to include this into my workflow. The only issue is that when I added a character animation to this scene in blender, it wouldn't cast any shadows. The scene looks great, but the character appears to be floating. Will you touch on animation in the follow-up video?

Pretty cool. One thing, the generated image broke the illusion on plant part. Simple fix. Invisible object with custom spotlight creating for shadow.
3D Collage, it's very interesting how long it takes to do this. At the same time, in autoeffects, this can be done for a couple of waders

Im loving your work... the problem with compute power for running ai .. probably can be mitigated with some Orange Pi 5's .. network a few of those bad boyz .. utilizing kubernetes .. will give folks an economy data center ..
OMG you should see the messing about just to get an Upscale Nero account, name address (mailing address), hard sell - and then there's another rigmarole - its just an upscaler, but you'd think you were joining the Navy Seals. Hint to software developers - make things simple or starve.
EDIT: Cannot upload ONE image unless I subscribe. Have unsubscribed. NERO UPSCALER is NOT FREE - perhaps someone is getting sponsorship out of this.

I really need to know WHY the inpaint or "Erase and replace" simply doesn't work with my images. It just delete what I did and doesn't replace or draw anything. It happens to me in every single IA. Any idea?
I am having problems installing the fspy addon into blender. I go to install in blender and select the zip file. It says at the bottom of blender that it was installed, but when I try to search for it in addons, it is not there. Never used blender before (I used to teach Lightwave 3D), so don't know if it is an issue with it or what. I made sure I have the most current version, 3.4.1. Is there something I am missing? Tried refreshing addons and restarting blender and it's still not there.

The second file here is the one you need to install into blender(keep it as a zip file):

If using safari, it might be downloading the zip file and unzipping automatically. Thats not what we want. The file needs to remain zipped when add into blendder using the following steps:
1. Download & Install FSpy

Great tutorial, followed this to the T but then I realised there's one issue with this method, which is that since I'm not using the Principal BSDF for the image texture for my environment, my own objects/characters that I place later in it don't cast shadows from the mimic lighting that I add to the scene (the same lights in the scene, but also ACTUALLY placed in there by me too). And if I do use the Principal BSDF it just looks like an ugly box. Any workaround?

You can just make textures using AI. 2.5D photo's are only really necessary when you only have one reference image to work with, like a photograph. But when you can just create textures on the fly, 2.5D becomes kind of pointless.
Have your mind blown in 3 easy steps: 1-Open Internet Browser 2- Go to TH-cam 3- Find your latest video. Seriously tho, this is so cool! I need to start learning blender. Any way that setup could then be imported into AE somehow? (from blender)

Interesting to see how many "old school" techniques that have been used in VFX for ages now are suddenly being surfaced by more people now with AI tools.

I've attempted to install the addon to Blender 2.93.1 and 3.5, however even though it says it is installed, it isn't listed in the addons, nor is the import option available.

It is not the best idea to show this like you did, this will only work pretty much for simplest scenes only and folks who haven't done much 3D graphics will most likely find working with planar uv projections pretty confusing.

Interesting, is the first time I seen anyone else do this. I created a scene in UE5, with the same approach, however didn't think up the plane projection or the in paint.
The end result in UE5 is the same as old `resident evil` games. Scene with fixed cam.
