Bears second half is absolutely brutal though.. 3 games in 10 days, 6 out of last 8 division games, and 4 out of last 6 on the road and theyre making them go to London

That Bears schedule isn't as easy as some "experts" are making it seem.
The second half of the schedule is ridiculous. It may not be as difficult as the Steelers, but it will be tough nonetheless.

I live in Illinois, and the Bears got "Baby's First Schedule."
If they were higher on the Jets the Prime Time games wouldn't all be front loaded. They know they will be out of contention late.

im confused, you want a fox employee to not praise the network he works for? Should he be praising cbs? Like this is the schedule release, we now know what games the networks are getting, kinda makes sense to talk about what networks have which games
@@ninjaofkaos8006 never said I wanted him to do anything. I watch all the networks, it just struck me to see someone bloviate this much about the network as opposed to the games. It’s like how Microsoft/Android feels the need to always tell you how they’re so much better than iPhone. It feels very “tryhard”. Also, do you think fans really care which networks carry which games?

You show you are a casual if you think that the Chiefs have it easy. Look beyond the "strength of schedule" and you'll see that they play at least once on every day of the week except Tuesday. Football coaches and players hate when they can't get into a rhythm for practice and games. And no, I am not a Chiefs fan. But you appear to be someone who speaks without taking more than a cursory look at the schedule.

as locally a fan of a small market team and nationally a fan of a mid market team, it’s why I never really cared about the schedule release. I look at the opponents that release 2 months prior and evaluate wins losses there, road games isn’t like college football, not that big of a deal in 60% of NFL stadiums. but the Jets get 6 primetime games after going 7-10, every other team that went 7-10 or worse has only 2, 1, or 0 primetime games. NFL only cares about entertainment, it’s why they partnered with Netflix.

Bears arent being as good a day 1 team as people think. Caleb will in my opinion have teething problems with the speed of the Defence in general but I see the bears Adjusting half-way through-out the season.

Caleb is literally going to a MUCH better situation with better O-line and better pass catchers than he did at USC, better defense too.
Not even a Bears fan, but there's no reason to believe Caleb will be anywhere near as bad as Justin Fields day 1 even ignoring the much better team around him.
And the Bears won 7 games with Fields.
Also saying "I think rookie will start slow but get better halfway thru the season" is not even a take, lmao, it's what happens with every good rookie.

You're forgetting about Week 1 when the Cowboys face the number one defense in the NFL.. Cleveland plays pretty damn good at home
It's obvious that the NFL wants to help and showcase the bears. Chicago is a huge media market, and to have it go untapped for so long because the bears have absolutely sucked rocks for 40 years must be hurting them big time.
As a browns fan i bet brady on the call so when brady says good things about watson they shutup that side of the base early maybe even somewhat nationally

I'd love to know why a team has an early bye for five consecutive years, and a Week 5 bye for the second straight year.
Dallas has 7 primetime games (1 Thur, 3 Sunday night, 2 Monday, 1 Thanksgiving), what the Jets do have is nearly a primetime game every other week (up to week 12). Better cross your fingers NFL that it works out.
Rodgers has another shot at it. It might be fun to watch this year. 🤷

What I don't get and I agree on ur statement, but I don't get is, that jet get 6 prime time game and they have lossing record for the past five year and still have not gotten progressive better but the lions have to get better to get more prime time game. Idc if Roger is a hof or not, if a team don't play well y would u assume that they would be better with one person. Yes one person can make a difference but not for every player. How is it right for them to do that. It mess up.

You seem to say the Jets and Lions aren't deserving of so many Prime Time games, is that it? Except for a bad call by officials in the NFC Championship game The Lions would have beat the San Francisco 49ers and went to the Superbowl. The Jets on the other hand have the potential too with one of the leagues most proven quarterbacks who has The Superbowl win and playoff appearances to show for it. They also have one of the AFC best defences to go along with him. All in all that would seem to be the reason the NFL award them so much in Prime Time.

He lasted 4 plays last year and was out the rest of the season. They shouldn't Guarantee Games to a organization thats hasn't shown nothing. Billions and Billions of dollars to be made by them. They are going to go where money is to be made. Apparently they have determined The Lions and Jets will be BIG revenue. That's how they work.
Not only do Bears have a relatively easy start , they have an interestingly difficult preseason. (To also help give Caleb looks and last minute mentorship??)

I've been watching The NFL for over 50 years and I have NEVER EVER seen the upcoming schedule get this much ink, or nowadays "clicks". I will always be a Lifelong Detroit Lions fan and NFL fan but I am convinced that GAMBLING is the fuel that runs this current NFL machine.
You might be right sadly. You see it with some of the commentators, such as Cowherd, Dan Patrick, etc. kind of too bad they are promoting and getting paid by gambling companies...it could be a downfall to the NFL at some point...gambling, money, greed...if the gamblers get to some of the Stars in this league, that could bring down the league at least for awhile. The schedule is nuts I think, becoming oversaturated, streaming deals, etc.
Why wouldn't NY get the most prime time it's probably the largest area of television sets that can watch the game.

What’s funny Is that the Talking Heads constantly make fun of fans for saying the league is scripted, I don’t believe that it is scripted, but it is definitely manipulated for stories and media. NFL schedule kind of stinks overall I think for the teams and players, and even fans...Bengals have 2 Thursday night games? Chiefs have to play like every day of the week, as well as on a Wednesday on Christmas? I know the NFL seems untouchable, but greed may be one thing that could turn some people off. It seems player safety is not being thought of...Christmas day games on a Wednesday is overkill...Netflix games...but they see people watching and the money so in that sense it makes sense to them. Not everything that is popular or makes money is good though in a society or for the people and employees, etc.

Jets with 6 prime time games is absurd, they are not that good of a team even with Rodgers, and he is not that popular to have that many games. Jets are a so so playoff team even with Rodgers.

Jets won't get Rodgers through the season. Also, Rodgers may go off the rails politically if his season isn't going well...or give an update of how he thought what happened to Pat Tillman was a play of fiction.

Banking on the Jets' QB health for these prime-time games is, in a word, laughable. Jordan Travis will be starting by week 8, and the Jets fan base will declare him trash midway through the third quarter of that game. Note, this is accounting for both Rodgers and Taylor getting injured.

.I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet.
