Probably right on the money with that one. I hate that we still don't have any locations in Arkansas but at the same time understand why they're so slow to expand. One of the biggest disappointments I had when I visited Dallas was that all the In N Outs in the DFW metro were closed when I was visiting. There were employees in the store cleaning and performing maintenance. I walk up to the door and there was a sign about all locations in the metro being closed due to something that happened with their bun/bread supplier. It’s a damn shame that what they predicted came true. Now theres 42,000 locations that can’t cook a burger properly keep fries warm or even listen to the details of customer orders. The one I worked at before quitting barely passed a health inspection thanks to the ot I put in.

thats because the founder kept his franchises small and didnt meet any guys like ray to do that. Cathy stayed the founder all the way through unlike what Ray unintentionally took from the McDonald's. If Cathy franchised his restaurant and left someone like Ray in charge to spread the company around CFA wouldn't have become a sensation and would have ended up like McDonald's

I'm not saying Ray is a good guy, but from a business perspective, I would have done similar except try and bring the original Brothers into the fold instead of buying them out and taking over their creation. Who knows what McDonald's could've been if those three could've put aside their differences and worked together with their ideas. Overall, even though the quality is nowhere near the same as it once was, they've helped feed a lot of people over the years, it may not be healthy, but it's better than starving and dying from hunger. In the end both sides had good intentions and both knew the future of what McDonald's could be. The brothers knew that the quality would deteriorate over time, Ray knew that this could become a household name. But it was wrong for Ray to cut em out, however at least both Mac and Dick didn't lose out entirely so it's not like they were left with nothing.
