    You have, by far, the best and easiest ways to get candle wax out. So simple, so quick, and no messes. Thank you so much for this. I love how you were right to the point without some long winded and long drawn out video.

    The best way I've found is to put your oven on the lowest setting and turn the candle jars upside down on a cookie sheet covered with tinfoil. Leave them in until the was melts and then wipe with a paper towel before washing.

      how long and what temperature would you do this at?

    • @laurenpiantino626
      @laurenpiantino626 6 ปีที่แล้ว +45

      She said, on the *lowest* setting!

    • @carolstella6776
      @carolstella6776 6 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Linda Stent-Campbell I do this too, but I leave the jars upright. I pour the extra wax into a tart mold to use for my warmer, if there is enough wax. If there is not enuf wax, I dump it into an empty aluminum can. Then I wipe the jar out with a paper towel.

      Lauren Piantino the lowest setting will be different temperatures on different ovens though. The lady asked which temperature.

    Thanks for this “to the point” video.
    I warm a large pan of water, let it gentle simmer, then put the containers in it. Within about half hour the wax has melted, if there’s enough was left over I use a strainer to get rid of the bits, the. Incorporate it into my new candle.

    I’ve been trying to get wax off my candle jar for months and I just couldn’t figure it out. Decided to check TH-cam tonight and your video came up first so I immediately tried the hot water method and viola! It really worked! The wax just rose up and I didn’t even had to wait for hours or overnight. It worked in just about 20 mins 😃 Thank you very much! Much appreciated. 🙏🏽🤗

    This was great! I reuse almost all my candle jars because I usually get them for the vessel as much as I do the candle scent. I've been doing the coffee warmer method (I own 4... I have a problem). I usually pour the melted wax into another candle that has a related scent, but the wax on the sides of the jar is usually tough to melt on the warmer. Boiling water: of course! And so easy to just pick out the floating wax after it's cooled. THANK YOU for these ideas!
