You can see the "Denver Debacle" in the documentary 'Please Learn The Setlist In 48 Hours.' It's mostly in Finnish with English subtitles. Not "reactable," but certainly worth a watch if you want to see how Nightwish acquired Floor as their singer.
Before the lock downs interrupted things Amaranthe was on tour with Apocalyptica and Sabaton. Note that Amaranthe has gotten better since Angela Gossow became their business manager. At the time of the Denver Debacle Elize and Alissa were touring with Kamelot which opened for Nightwish. They went from their performance with Kamelot to on stage with Nightwish with maybe an hour of prep time. Best Karaoke performance around as neither Elize nor Alissa really knew all of the Nightwish songs but between them, the band, some notes and the audience it was a really good show. Someone else mentioned watching Kamelot with Elize and Alissa performing Sacrimony. Good suggestion. Watch this Last Ride of the Day also. th-cam.com/video/PWuf-Hl1Hfk/w-d-xo.html It was the last show of the 2012 North American tour in Tampa FL & Kamelot joined Nightwish on stage for that song (4:10)
Amaranthe is an awesome band, and sort of the sister band to Sabaton. If you get a chance to watch Sabaton's 82nd All The Way, you should watch Amaranthe's cover at the same time. (Also, Floor interviewed Elize Ryd of Amaranthe for her recent episode of Floor Finds, as well as her series Storytime.)
Agree, there are similarities!!! You are both great! Multiple vocalists - I love it. Two vocalists one of the reasons I fell in love with Nightwish. Contrasts are great.
I absolutely love Amaranthe and the 3 vocalists make the band even more amazing, they are all extremely talented. The versatility and variety is fantastic.
Swedish perfection once again with Amaranthe.. but guys... you MUST listen to the 3 weeks old new song ”VIRAL” with them... fxxxing amazing song !!!!!! Pls do a react to that one !!
Amaranthe is a damn good band. Another old school Symphonic Metal band. ELYZ is so nice. Imet her by accident in Denver Colorado back in 2012 outside the club where Nightwish, Kamelot, and Amaranthe were going to play. Shes really down to earth.
Olof (one of the founders, blonde hair and guitar or piano/synth or even violin),Elize (lead female vocals),Henrik (growls, screams and rap),Nils (clean male vocals),Morten (drums), Johan (Dark hair and beard with earrings,Bass) Amaranthe is a 6 piece, and all of them are Swedish, except Morten on drums wich is the only Danish guy in the band. Elize is also half Swedish, half Finnish.
I kinda love you guys .-) You have so much fun and you really love this stuff! And a Swedish band, yaaaay! *proud Swede* Elize Ryd is a very good friend of Floor's, by the way.
Amaranthe is such a great band. I love their music. Their current vocal lineup is amazing. Nils, male clean, does such an amazing job. Henrik aka GG6 (Growl God 6) is the reason I like growl style vocals. Elize is just so awesome, she can put so much inflection in her voice that really takes the lyrics and notes she sings to another level. If you all want to experience a song that hits a little harder and really puts Mr. GG6 front and center, I'd love to see a reaction to Amaranthe - GG6
Fun fact: Elize Ryd, the female vocalist, auditioned for Nightwish when they fired their first singer, Tarja. They picked Anette Olzon instead and the rest is history, but it makes me wonder what would've happened with Nightwish, who found Floor Jansen because of their choice in Anette.
Elize is a great singer but when I watched her performance with Nightwish of the song "Storytime" she's slightly struggling the super high notes on the 2nd half part of the song.
I love nightwish i seen the tour anette was let go . Anaheim the Grove and was Floor's 3rd show i think. And kamelot was opener. With elize and Alyssa in kamelot that tour. Was amazing time. Floor is best suited for nightwish. Elize is best in Amaranthe. And Anette is hella best in Dark Element. Dark Element lets Anette shine better than nightwish ever did
The music would probably be quite different as at least to me it seems Tuomas has always made songs to specifically suit the performers. All three singers got different songs. Elize would have probably inspired him to make something slightly different.
The band are from Sweden and Elize Ryd the female vocalist was a guest at Floor's house last week and appeared on Floor's TH-cam channel discussing amongst other thing's, the band's new album and her fear in over coming nerves while driving, having failed her driving test twice. Here's hoping third time lucky Elize!
Awesome video! Reaction and real. Drako Malfoy youve been my favorite guitarist of all time ever since the nexus first came out. Love your guys channel and great reaction. More Amaranthe please ☺
Elize(female vocals) Nils(clean male; also got band Dynazty, maybe "Firesign" by them at some point?) Henrik(screamer) and they are all wonderful and amazing and I love them.
I love Amaranthe. Ive been listening to then since their 2nd album the Nexus. Their 6th album Manifest will be released oct 2nd. Ive seen them live 5x. their latest tour in the USA was supposed to starting about now. But because of covid it was canceled til next year.
Random thoughts on multiple singers vs. one singer: I like when bands have multiple sounds that they can draw on. It allows them to write more sonically interesting songs that hold my attention. There's a lot of ways to achieve that - instrumental variety for one, and vocal variety is another. So yeah, I do like it when there are multiple singers in a band who can give them different sounds to work with, but even a single singer who can do multiple styles (both cleans and grows, for instance) is great. But I don't think multiple singers is NEW, though maybe it's becoming less of a novelty/more prevalent. Thinking back, Lacuna Coil has had both male and female vocals since the mid-90s. And even KISS, who were huge when I was growing up and got me into hard rock & metal, used different singers (all male, but with very different tonalities) on different songs (or different parts of songs in a few cases), and that was back in the 70s. Yeah... I dig it.
I love Amaranthe for the 3 vocalist thing. I've only recently discovered them and I can't get enough. You guys might like GG6 by them, it has a lot more of the growling singer rapping and the chorus with Elize is great. I really love all three singers. They have a new album coming next month, the first single was Viral and the video came out a couple weeks ago. Olof (the guitarist with the white hair) also does the keyboard parts for their songs and I believe he writes alot of the music as well, but I am still getting to know them all. If you want to hear her sing a ballad, check out Endlessly and you get to see Olof's incredible wedding in Transylvania. Elize has a wonderful voice and I love the way they all work together. It's the reason I loved Nightwish too, hearing Tarja with Marco gave me chills. I think any band with a male and female singer is immediately gonna get a listen from me, including you guys. thanks for reacting to this!
If you want more music with multiple singers try Avantasia! Avantasia is a german band formed by Tobias Sammet in 1999 as a studio project to create some kind of metal opera. Most of their songs feature guest singers and musicians from all over the world, people Tobias had always wanted to work with. Among those are names like Alice Cooper, Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Dee Snider, Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Jon Oliva (Savatage), Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Jorn Lande (Masterplan), Biff Byford (Saxon) Michael Kiske (Helloween), Bob Catley (Mangum), David DeFeis (Virgin Steele), Candice Night, Amanda Somerville and many more. In 2008 they started playing live as well with a headliner show at Wacken Open AIr - the live perfomances are amazing.
Great reaction is always guys. There is a metal band call Helix by the way. They are best known for their 80s hits. Rock You Heavy Metal Love and Deep Cuts the Knife.
fun fact: Elize Ryd of Amaranthe auditioned for NW after Tarja left. she was Almost the second singer of NW. on the night of the infamous "Denver Debacle", while she was on tour with NW as part of Kamelot, she filled in with NW when Annette went to the hospital, and never returned to NW. 48 hours later, Floor took over. and neither NW nor the NW Army has looked back since.
I have no problem with multiple as long as they are used well during songs. :-) The sister band to Epica has sometimes up to 5 singers on the stage during performances. It can get quite crowded. Not to mention Eluveitie that has around ten members playing all sorts of instruments. Epica´s "Consign to Oblivion" from Zenith would be lovely.
Amaranthe is an amazing band. Eliza Ryde is one of the best vocalists working and the band has 3 vocalists- all solid. They're good friends with Sabaton as well.
Amaranthe is unique in that they have three vocalists. You guys DID pronounce the name correctly, by the way. "Am-UH-ranth". The "e" at the end is indeed silent. Henrik, the harsh vocalist, does a lot of growl rapping and it's pretty neat. I'd recommend Amaranthe's song called "Dream" to really see him showcase that skill. Also, their song "GG6" is SUPER heavy and focuses his growling a lot. Elize Ryd is the female vocalist and she's so good. Her range is incredible. Nils Molin is the clean male vocalist and his voice is rich and powerful. Hope to see you react to more Amaranthe!
I see a lot of people complain about amaranthe, mainly because elize has "pop vocals" and that she is "not made for metal" i think that she is amazing because the other vocalists complement her really well. my favourite is Nils tho
It's about time. Amaranthe is way too good to ignore. Floor Jansen interviewed Elize Ryd on her channel and it was so much fun. I love their formula with a clear female singer, a clear male singer, and a screamer. The mix up keeps it fresh. That's one reason Nightwish is so good. They have Marco, who can sing ether clear, or harsh and raspy as needed. The tasteful mix with Floor's voice helps to make them extra special.
This is one of my favorite bands but I can't watch their videos cuz as much as I love their music, as soon as the lights come on, the only thing going through my mind is how I'd give my left arm to be on that stretcher with Elize... Good God, she is F. I. N. E.
The Nexus, Amaranthine, Digital world and Viral are all great! Also, they did a cover of Sabaton's 82nd all the way. U should compare the 2!! Both great songs and impossible to choose between them!
I commented in one of your videos, that you reminded me of Amaranthe. Now you see why. 😉 Amaranthe has been rising to one of my top favorite bands over the past few months. Viral or GG6 next maybe...? 😊
Definitely should check out the band Wintersun. "Sons of Winter and Stars" live rehearsal at Sonic Pump Studios, or "Time", also live rehearsal at Sonic Pump Studios
I'm kind of binge watching your channel tonight, so watching the guitarist here brought something to mind. That guy looks huge compared to his guitar, as opposed to the guitarists from BandMaid and LoveBite.
Eliza ryd your voice and powerful ✨ and strong 💪 for the audience to sing and play with you have to nice body and great vocals amazing guitar player's with drums bass 🔊 and the music 🎶 that you give to the audience ❤ music be cool 😎 but with this virus out there i don't think a lot of bands are going to perform eny time soon so be safe and strong 💪 with your metal music 🎶 and keep your country's safe and protected from this virus okay rock fan alex
Yes! Amaranthe!! Love this band. You should check out several songs from them. Definitely 82nd all the way, Viral and Do or die as suggested below, but my first song ever hearing Amaranth many years ago was Hunger! This is an amazing song. Also try to listen to Amaranthine which is a really nice and a little softer song and some other is The Nexus and lastly GG6. Love your videos! :-)
Whell you see Eliza ryd she is from Sweden 🇸🇪 and there are a lot of metal bands there but with touring and with a lot of bands and with this virus out there it's going to be difficult to go on stage even with a mask on
Ya want multiple vocalists? Try the group that invented symphonic metal " Therion" . The group that inspired Toumas to create Nightwish. Therion formed in 1987 and they use 4 vocalist. Find the live performance of The Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah at Wacken 2007.
React to Last of the Wilds, completely acoustic song by Nightwish, Yours is an Empty Hope where you get to hear Floor growl and High Hopes which is a Pink Floyd cover that Marco sings in its entirety.
They have a lot of songs I personally prefer to this, but this is a pretty good start. I'd recommend Drop Dead Cynical and their cover of 82nd all the way as well. the song GG6 is another fun but different one. It features mostly the rough vocalist with a playful back and forth with Elize and him. The video was playful as well clearly shot on the same set and much less organized so it's a bit more playful in that sense too
Just saying, you guys are starting to become one of my favorite reaction channels. And just saying, if you guys are performing the entrance music, it really is quite catchy -- and girl, you have a good singing voice! And the sexy lady here? Elize Ryd -- and check out her conversation she had with Floor Jansen of Nightwish recently! And yeah, guys, there are three singers: 1) Elize Ryd: The clean female vocals 2) Nils: clean male vocals 3) Henrik: Growling male vocals And just saying, in GG6, Henrik created a new genre of music: Growl rapping. If you want to know what I'm talking about, check out GG6! By the way: I just went over your reactions, and I have to ask: Where is Unleash the Archers?? You guys seriously need to hear Brittney Slayes, and how good she is, as well as the crazy guitars and drumming is from that band! I would recommend Awakening, Apex, Time Stands Still, Tonight We Ride, Abyss, and Soulbound. Abyss and Soulbound are the newest tracks, from their upcoming album, which is being released August 21.
Amaranthe was one of the first in this style. So don't compare with copys. Check up more videos with Amaranthe. Eliza was even sing in Nightwish once, with Alyssa (Arch Enemy). There you have one hell of a band too .... Arch Enemy
Clear Fry Screaming also seems to be coming more and more, it doesn't sound like some neanderthal grunting but you can actually hear every word they sing. The Fry's have changed from being just a sound effect to being a part of the story that is told. Viral next? Cheers / B.
I love Amaranthe and their 3 vocalist thing. Please react to their songs "The Nexus" , "365" and "CG6". And not to forget "Do or die" feat. Angela Gossow.
Great reaction guys! :D Any chance you could listen to Amaranthe's Cover of 82nd All the Way? You could do both Sabatons version and theirs as a sort battle of the bands style reaction, think that would be awsome. :D
niice guys!! You should listen to Amaranthe's cover of 82nd all the way by Sabaton its AWSUME, maybe listen to both in same reaction video ;) and Amaranthine, hunger, the nexus
Nigthwish and Amaranthe are amazing bands but if you want some stage energy going through the roof again you have to go back to Sabaton. Ghost division official live video..
Elize Ryd helped out Nightwish together with Alissa White-gluz back in 2012 in Denver when their second singer got sick.
You can see the "Denver Debacle" in the documentary 'Please Learn The Setlist In 48 Hours.'
It's mostly in Finnish with English subtitles. Not "reactable," but certainly worth a watch if you want to see how Nightwish acquired Floor as their singer.

Helix is a 80's hard rock band from my country of Canada with their biggest hit "Rock You"
Just discovered this band today😍. I love that they a 1screamer and 2 singers.

Awesome song and band, 4 swedes + 2 Danes - Awesome review - thank you so much guys! 😁 ❤
Awesome review guys! Thanks for doing my request, and much love to you both.

Amaranthe is an amazing band and the 3 compliment each other perfectly. Check out Fearless from them too. It's really good.
I absolutely love Amaranthe great reaction guys
I love the multiple vocalists!! Plz do more "Amaranthe". Their tribute to "Sabaton" 82nd All The Way. Do a double feature of the songs.
Love Amaranthe! Would definitely recommend their songs GG6 and Viral

also the song Boom!1
@@paladinminipedro707 yeah! Love it, it is the same style as GG6, i hope they keep making a song per album like those two

Multiple singers is like multiple flavors of ice cream. More is better.
Another fantastic band. Very diverse. Elyse is the main singer but the other two add many layers to the sound 🤘🤘🤘
If you want more music with multiple singers try Avantasia!
Avantasia is a german band formed by Tobias Sammet in 1999 as a studio project to create some kind of metal opera. Most of their songs feature guest singers and musicians from all over the world, people Tobias had always wanted to work with.

Yes your work is really good Travis and Metal Mafia reminds me of Amaranthe songs also, I just didn't realize it until now.

Love this song.
Now Amaranthe comes too here :D Amazing!!
Would be also cool if you react to Kamelot- Sacrimony live with Alissa and Elize. very cool show!
This was the song Alissa and Elize were touring with Kamelot in 2012.
@@Immortall1408 yes (: They released that live video one month ago and it´s very good.
Cool, I'm going to check that out.
Hey love the reactions keep them comming
Love Amaranthe. 3 singers
Saw them live, great show🤘🤘🤘
Always love watching people discover one of my favorite bands and ask the inevitable question “how many vocalists do they have??” 😂
Amaranthe is an amazing band.

Arch Enemy
pronounced perfectly.
Some people like Elize just because she’s pretty, but she’s excellent singer, like: Stjärnan in mi hand.
yall gotta react to GG6, Do or Die, from Amaranthe
Clear Fry Screaming also seems to be coming more and more, it doesn't sound like some neanderthal grunting but you can actually hear every word they sing. The Fry's have changed from being just a sound effect to being a part of the story that is told. Viral next?
Cheers / B.
More Amaranthe plz🤗
I love Amaranthe and their 3 vocalist thing. Please react to their songs "The Nexus" , "365" and "CG6". And not to forget "Do or die" feat. Angela Gossow.
Still the best band around...... Have seen them live over 30 times..... Next time, try 'GG6' or 'Viral' !!!
want another dimension of metal?? Try Arch Enemy - War eternal (live at Resurrectionfest) or Nemesis (live at Wacken). You will not be disappointed :D
Definitely check put Drop Dead Cynical and Digital World by Amaranthe
There is definitely a similarity between you two. Could even add Lacuna Coil to that.
Great reaction guys! :D
Any chance you could listen to Amaranthe's Cover of 82nd All the Way?
You could do both Sabatons version and theirs as a sort battle of the bands style reaction, think that would be awsome. :D
I thought this was a collaboration between the old Helix Metal band and Amaranthe. My bad.
Amouranth started this techno sounding heavy metal with three vocalist thing background 2013. I saw them November 2014 in there drop dead cynical days
Hey :) my suggestion for Amaranthe. GG6, Digital World and their new song Viral are amazing!
No one talking about the drummer's fills?
I want to like it cuz I really like Elize, but it doesn't really work for me - think I'll check out some more and see if it clicks for me 🤔
Gotta do Amaranthine and 82:nd all the way man :)
niice guys!! You should listen to Amaranthe's cover of 82nd all the way by Sabaton its AWSUME, maybe listen to both in same reaction video ;) and Amaranthine, hunger, the nexus
Elize existence should come with an R-rating.
would you react to navarone cerberus (official video). Surprisingly good hard number. Unfortunately not yet known enough.
Swedish power!! xD
Nigthwish and Amaranthe are amazing bands but if you want some stage energy going through the roof again you have to go back to Sabaton. Ghost division official live video..
Amaranthe started 2008
