Custom and fake are the same things if your an exec at one of these companies...unauthorized shoes means they can't get their cut and if a dime bag is sole in Central Park you know they want in ...lmao.

I say the whole improvement you can do to these is instead of red laces to make them white but these dope as hell either way.

I feel like 10 years ago, customizing shoes was a rare thing or something that a few people did for fun. Now, I feel like its as big as the tattoo industry!! Where you can find anyone who customizes shoes lol. Granted there aren't any shoe customizing shops like there are tattoo shops.....but that doesn't mean it's not as big, because imo, it is....or if anything, its at least becoming that big. I was mind blown once I found out how big of an industry customizing shoes actually was!!

Could you stuff the shoes with plastic or paper towels before airbrushing to stretch out the fabric? Also, can you paint vaseline or something slick on the stripe, instead of taping, to help keep the paint off, and then remove the vaseline after painting the rest of the shoe?
Yes stuffing them will help stretch the fabric , the Vaseline trick I’ve never heard of but I understand the concept of it.. somewhat of a liquid tape
They look fantastic I think if you could've left the pull tab white and having the white meet and go all the way round wouldve been nice too

You gotta heat up tape with hairdryer.. it makes adhesive stickier

What about white base with LV logo all around? I saw LV V2 but they only did it on the stripe and I though it would be cool on the whole shoe

So clean! What vinyl do you use that sticks to the primeknit in the end?
Oracle 651 Vinyl! Make sure to heat for it to stick well! But only for a couple of a seconds at a distance
What do you think about the Yeezy material. Mainly the 450s & the difference foam runner material..
On the 450’s I’d only paint the knit parts
I'm a newby attempting to not mess my first attempt, I wish to paint my fabric (flyknit) Air Force. I wonder gac900 + black paint or leather dye ?
I’d use suede dye instead of leather dye on a material like that if I were using dye. But I think it’d opt for paint and gac for the most even consistent look in your case

I have a pair of puma fenty trainers that are blue that I want to change to an avocado color. Never thought to use white first. Even thought the blue is light still going to do that step

If you’re painting fabric with an airbrush do I need gac 900 if I’ve already mixed it with 2 thin? Big fan of your videos!
Yes it’s even more important than the 2thin in that case.. all the 2thin does is thin out your paint to flow through the gun... 2soft changes the chemical makeup

Sure did
These are sick!! But how do you know if you've had enough heat for them to be properly heat set? Does the fabric feel noticeably different once you've had heat on it for long enough?
Not particularly a set feeling , but you definitely won’t have any paint rubbing off onto your fingers anymore which happens without heat setting

Yes angelus makes a dark grey paint, or you can mix black directly into your white or light grey paint
