As a woman from NC, we can typically get away with wearing mules but I am more partial to at least a slingback because I can be clumsy and need to feel secure in my footwear... I just updated my riding boot collection last year so I feel pretty good going into fall in that aspect, but I am looking for a burgundy boot and bag for the fall to go with some of my outfits... Boston Girlie here....riding boot with my skinnies are a must for Fall. The felt hat on bad hair days plus I luv a hat. Never wore the Infinity scarf or waterfall cardi...lol. I bought a pair of the furry mules from RL a few years back. Wore them once. Bad weather here had me turn them into luxury slippers...lol. No to the green bag. It overwhelms your frame and looks like a bottomless pit. JMO 🤷🏼♀️

Loving this video! Two comments-I owned a fabulous pair of fold over boots for 5 years the last time they were in vogue… I gave them away without ever wearing them. I’m not doing that ever again… however, the boat shoe is a very traditional New England shoe. Akin to the driving moc everyone adores. I wear them occasionally during the summer. Don’t knock them if you ever go boating (not yachting😉)!☺️🙏🏻

Over last few years I’ve accumulated many knee high riding boots. I’m obsessed! I also just picked up a Frye boot, in new condition for $40. I bought them all on Poshmark. Well known brands in excellent condition and haven’t paid more than $30 for any pair. So, for cost of one new pair I have very slightly worn in boots in every color for less. No reason to pay many hundreds.
Green is trending. I'm getting some green items. Green is a better color for my cool undertone. Can you use that camel bag in summer also? I know, I'm not much help.🤷♀️
I’m from California and donated my boots because I wasn’t wearing them, they are nice but I like a variety of sneakers , a variety of flip flops and one casual sandal . I do need a simple style for a shoe when it rains, but honestly I wear my leather sneakers
I didn't like foldover last year. But this year I got a pair. They go w one dynamite outfit. Denim vest, light brown midi. Don't know what else I can wear them with?

Fold over boots - UGLY!!!! They also make your legs look big. I don't understand this trend at all. Aaah....boat shoes. I have fond memories of them. My son had a pair in 1987-1988 when he was a preschooler and he looked so cute wearing them. They were very popular back then.

I like the fold over boot, but don't think it will be in style more than one season. So I'm not going to spend money to have it sit in my closet.
