We're just back on an A330 and had great service from the crew - both outward and return they were warm and attentive. The overhead bins were all pretty much empty so I was quite happy to gently fold my coat and put it in there. Unlike most airlines the even numbered seats have a wide table / platform between the seat and aisle and this made it feel exceptionally spacious and private particularly when you are partially reclined or in flat bed mode. There were only 4 seats across by 8 lines with 4 stewards.
11:36 sure if u expect wifi, it is bad... but the good thing is, they informed ahead of time, so it gives u time to download some stuff in the terminal before boarding...
And 2+ weeks after seeing the thumbnail teasing me about a February premiere, I finally get to watch you be snarky in another business class seat. The cherry on top to a snow day here in Denver. Cheers, Markus!
Snarky is my brand! Thanks for watching though. I wish we had snow here in Basel too. I've only been to Denver once, and I enjoyed it. It's the only city I've visited that has a saddle shop on the main shopping street. Plus I loved the airport!
Seems to me like you wont fly them again because they're leaving Star Alliance in favor of Skyteam. Which is far enough, but it's not reflected in the title.
Yes, that's correct. One of the constant challenges of TH-cam is to come up with clickable titles. For the outbound video I used a much more neutral title to see what works best.
All airlines have bad moments, for sure. I've had a really bad Emirates experience in the past, and they are considered top tier, especially their businesses/first class.
Actually you can access the aisle when the tray table is out in business , though only at the seats that face the aisle.. You can lower the armrest an get out that way without putting the tray away...
Sorry to be hursh but what is the big premium to fly 350 compare to the 330? Something you complain about and I can’t figure out. Had a flight to ORD from CPH recently and it was some house after the food service when they in SAS Business just have the galley snack bar behind 8A seat. When I get there they got just one Coca Cola zero. And wanted a Sprite just asked them nicely in they got a Sprite left. Took 10 sec before I had a cold one at the same time I would one ice cube or two and he saw it was just five cubs left and most water. So he filler it up with new ice. Later on I wanted to taste the Apple must and even this time anothere crew member said one second it in a few second I got a full glass. Dunno if it something new for the trip I did but you can pre-order both way and there I got option to order both vegeterian and vegan even if during my flight they had one vegetarian option in the menu. I also prefer that SAS would continue in Star Aaliance but I rather accept they get invested by Air France-KLM and continue their service by Skyteam compare I have to fly by Norwegian, BRA or Finnair as Nordic provider in the sky 😊
I don’t like clickbait, I think you are funny and make good content so I would avoid that. Is a turn off. The dirt on the seats is just inexcusable! 🤢 people saying you complain to much but I actually appreciate an honest review. The points that you make are super valid. For me the worst was the fact they don’t clean after the last passenger. Is just plain gross.
Labels are pretty straight forward. I think you have volume increase, volume decrease, light on/off, cancel steward, call steward (top to bottom). Why is that hard to understand? The title is completely misleading, leaving an airline because it changes alliance? More accurate tile (and not click bait) is SAS Business Class is adequate, but leaving Star Alliance. Not certain I will watch another video.
I don't think that Scandinavia has a larger % of vegetarians than other countries. I don't know where you get the idea .... Also, you complain too much.
It s little bit akward, every one is going to copenhagen(is he that famous?) everyone is okay but copenhagen what is happening can someone tells what is happening?
I think the title of your review is unfair to the airline. I'm thinking of flying SAS from LAX to CPH and your statement (also given on your other SAS review) that you'll never fly with them again had me thinking that the airline must be awful. It may not be as great as other airlines, but it isn't awful. For those reading this comment - he won't fly SAS again because it isn't part of the Star Alliance. I personally don't care about Star Alliance and the title of this review nearly put me off SAS altogether.
Markus, no idea what you did not like? The seat looks decent, the food delicious and plentyful (the main though looked a bit oily) and the price SAS charges is unbeaten - so this should be considered as well! I had many LH and Swiss flights in C which were very mediocre and I love the Austrian service but their seats in C feature no privacy at all...my view - its very transparent what you get nowadays...so why complain about obvious weaknesses
Simple style, simple life. That's what Scandinavian life is like. So why care so much about what's good or bad with SAS. it's based on our culture. deal with it. 🙂
I clicked on this video because of the title expecting 1 of 2 options. 1. That it would contain a bunch of nitpicking of tiny problems that could arise on any airline, but presented in a way to make it look like SAS offers a bad product. (I mean "they didn't have a procedure to take my coat", seriously dude?) 2. Just your run-of-the-mill clickbait. I applaud your ability to check both boxes. I wasted 28 minutes only to figure out that the main reason was just the inevitable alliance change. Which is a fair reason, but should have been presented in the title. Needless to say, I don't feel compelled to watch another one of your videos. What you're doing just isn't an effective way to get returning viewers.
Your comment is very insightful, Haakon. This specific video has the highest dislike/like ration on the channel. And it's also the most clickbaity. As content creators, we do try different formats. There's another video on the channel, about the outbound flight, which is less dramatic. It has significantly fewer views. Your are also right about return viewers. This channel as a whole has a very low number of return viewers. It's definitely worth thinking about why that is.
@@MarkusTravels Honestly, since you acknowledge the clickbaity nature and since I'm far from the only one who has pointed it out in the comments. I'm wondering why you don't just change the title? Because even if this is "the most clickbaity one" on your channel. If it's the first video they see from you (which was the case for me), then that's gonna keep hurting your channel as a whole.

Hej Markus! Thanks for your nice review of SAS and its Biz-product. I agree with you, crew is not the very best on all flights and the privacy is not the best either. I go for the food and drinks which I think is perfect. Charles Heidsieck is for me the best non vintage champagne in the air right now. I´m *A Gold I will stay SAS as long as I can and keep on my Eurobonus Gold status lifetime. Inget om Gott och Blandat denna gången?!
When I worked in the airline industry in Sweden decades ago SAS was often called “Konsum”. That’s a low standard grocery store, kind of like Piggly-Wiggly in the US. You get the point.

«There isn’t really a very strong sense of privacy» he says, after filming the person next to him.
It was a pretty good illustration of the point, wasn't it?
@@MarkusTravels If the person consented to having their face uploaded to TH-cam, then yes. Else it’s just a violation of the persons right to privacy.

Clickbait is how you lose your audience. But I guess it is a valid short-term strategy.
All airlines have bad moments, for sure. I've had a really bad Emirates experience in the past, and they are considered top tier, especially their businesses/first class.
I've only flown Emirates once, and was very impressed. But it's true, you get good days and bad days.
I can't quite afford to tell Quantas or Singapore to sod off, I live in Sydney. 😅
I was going to do the Polaris Lounge trek - your mistake my benefit. 🚶♂
If I was in this situation again, I would take the bus to T7, go through security, and only walk one way to terminal B.

Norway ditched SAS many years ago. It is Swedish and Danish now. They are not so rich.
In this latest round, Sweden also got out. Denmark is still in, with KLM.
We run out of gaffa- Good luck KLM@@MarkusTravels
