And Nicki went to Amsterdam for completely no reason, not even flying with KLM 😂😅 Although... If Kenya had to be the next destination, the closest to eastbound would be Rome, and still technically westbound by a bit.
@@kierannelson2581 I imagine they wanted to include Nairobi, but there's no direct flight between Copenhagen (or Rome) and Nairobi. But yeah, going eastbound only is totally possible - SAS even flies to Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai!
Star Alliance would be a breeze given the huge level of connectivity you get from United, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. Although both would be truly “round the world” given OneWorld contains Qantas and Star Alliance has Air New Zealand
Well, you guys have to do it again, it didn't include KLM, Air France, China Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas, Saudia, Garuda Indonesia, Vietnam Airlines, ........... So here's the challenge, do a Round the World on Skyteam without the airlines you've just flown with 😅
@@Samwong67895yeah. And they have to use at least 80% of all airlines but not use any one more than twice in total. Skyteam needs to be done again Star and OneWorld need to be done too.
That was SUCH a fun watch! Not surprised about delta but LOVED seeing how many airlines and configurations you were all able to go on. As someone learning more and more about airline alliances LOVED seeing all of the different carriers/ everything thats connected
Been following Points Guy UK for years just enjoy Nicky and his team. This is the best Vlog I have seen. Reminds me of the Early Vlogs with london to Paris type challenges, except thus was around the world..the editing must have been maddening. Lol Delta is Delta.. Good show fellas , good show.
You should really disclose better that SAS/SkyTeam paid for all your travels and therefore your opinions are not your 100% honest opinion. With all those flights you didnt really have 1 negative thing to say about the travels. Thats very unlikely
They did disclose it in the very beginning of the video. Obviously anyone with common sense will know that these airlines will be on the top of their game when there is a reviewer on board. It’s hard to have any negative comments when the flight crew is at the top of their game for this reason. They did add here and there some not so positive comments.
Yall should make it a competition where each person uses a different alliance to navigate the world. That way we can see which airline alliance has the best and quickest connectivity!
Epic challenge and love the Kdrama effects! 🤣 Nice to see the boys review so many different flights in one video! For the next challenge how about trying it with the Star Alliance network but with the following criteria: 1. you have to fly to all continents excluding Antarctica 2. starting and ending point will be at London where TPG is based in 3. Liam goes east this time and Nicky goes west 4. you can only fly a maximum of 3 flights on each airline (fifth freedom flights count towards this quota) 5. you have to fly a fifth freedom route by any Star Alliance member airline 6. you are allowed a maximum of 2 stops per continent (excludes your starting and ending point) 7. class of travel is up to TPG 8. wildcard: you can fly with a non-member or connecting partner airline so long as they have a codeshare agreement with any member airline e.g. JetBlue and SIA This is quite an intensive challenge but I think it’ll make for a super interesting video, hope to see this soon and good luck!
07:54 Nicky Flight 2 Kenya Airlines and 14:15 Nicky Flight 3 Kenya Airlines currently missing in the listing of flights in description, so here you go.
Fantastic video! Loved seeing all the destinations and aircraft types. Unfortunately most people wouldn’t get the chance to fly business/ upper class so it’s great to experience through your video!
Very cool video, SAS and Virgin business products looked the best I think. But the slow call bell challenge surprised me. Virgin speedy as usual, I flew upper recently and the call bell challenge took about 3 seconds! The lovely cabin crew member Claire literally ran down the aisle!
We would certainly love to see this again! But I think you need to make it more interesting for the destinations. Let your viewers select five places around the world that each of you need to go to in one trip. 😊
As a Kenyan and a tour consultant I enjoyed the Nairobi National park fun experience. Been stuck during the rain season and we had a fun time with the clients. It's all about the experience ❤❤❤ Kenya Airways is an average airline with nice crew and good food but with less aircrafts and a bigger operation, delays are getting so common. Liam eating the Bibimbap 😂😂😂😂
I’d really like to see an around the world video where it’s all around the world Liam going east, Nicky going west, the exception being that it’s flying in first/business classes and Emirates/Etihad/Singapore/Qatar have to feature in it. Liam and Nicky go make this happen! You’ll be more inclined to do it too because you’ll have the knowledge of knowing that you won’t be in economy or Premium economy for long flights.
A good watch. Shanghai sure looks different to when I went there in 1992!! Not surprised that Delta ploughed the call bell test. Why are US airlines so crap? It wasn’t always like that. I have fond memories of a SFO JFK overnight on American Airlines in 1979 (yes, dates me!).
Loved this video. Would love to see you spend a day and night in Singapore airport. That airport is so big and so amazing....you'd be mad not too. So much to see and do there.
Wow, awesome viewing, have not seen anything that’s not a full tv production before and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next round the world tour but this time in economy as we can’t all afford business calls all the way 😂
Nice video! It's a unique concept to flying all over the world with one single aviation alliance! Though I find using SkyTeam Super Elite priority is not as good as OneWorld in asia especilly when you take domestic flights, which is more common for a normal people than taking international flights.
What an amazing journey you boi’s had. It really does show how an alliance is impotent to not only the passengers but the airlines in being able to offer a connected world without having to be world wide. What I would love to see is how far can you travel in each alliance using that alliance’s individual airlines, for instance if you flew on each member airline for one leg only say with OneWorld would it get you around the more than once f(pretty sure is does but just picking an example) or another option throw alliances out the window what about how far can you get on a single airlines partnerships/code share agreements where you might find you are jumping between alliances like using say Virgin Australia who has no alliance but has partnerships spanning different airlines and alliances.
Having seen only 5 min of your video I had to hold on: what an incredible new content! And now I going on watching. Thanks, guys. You are just amazing!
“We are at Copenhagen. One is going eastbound and the other westbound“ First destination Amsterdam and Atlanta😅😅 Both Westbound
And Nicki went to Amsterdam for completely no reason, not even flying with KLM 😂😅
Although... If Kenya had to be the next destination, the closest to eastbound would be Rome, and still technically westbound by a bit.
@@hanson417 But as ITA are not part of Skyteam anymore It meant the slight westbound bit would have to be done.
@@jimbo6059 SAS don't fly to Rome?

@@kierannelson2581 I imagine they wanted to include Nairobi, but there's no direct flight between Copenhagen (or Rome) and Nairobi. But yeah, going eastbound only is totally possible - SAS even flies to Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai!
Delta failing the callbell challenge is pretty on brand tbh
I’m going to go and say it… this is the best video you guys have ever made! Well definitely my favourite. Such amazing content as always.
Now we need one of Star Alliance and OneWorld too haha
one world would be easy for them since they are based in the UK
Star Alliance would be a breeze given the huge level of connectivity you get from United, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. Although both would be truly “round the world” given OneWorld contains Qantas and Star Alliance has Air New Zealand
@@chunkyboyjames You can do RTW on SQ alone.
@@hanj31 not for going around the world though. If you land in Delhi and want to fly somewhere other than the UK, you can't exactly choose BA
I agree...
OneWorld;
LHR-DOH-SIN-SYD-LAX-LHR... That was easy.

I was thinking the same thing. Little too much Delta and KE.
We need one for Star Alliance as well 😂

really loved this one. nicky probably liked the boat captain in amsterdam being in slow motion. the Tom Daley moment was unexpected too. Five stars.

Hmmm ... the call bell challenge on an airline that sponsors your video and knows TPG is on board.
SAS still screwed up lol
I’m not surprised that the only airline that failed the call bell challenge is a US carrier!
SAS also failed at over 5min on the last leg
You should really disclose better that SAS/SkyTeam paid for all your travels and therefore your opinions are not your 100% honest opinion. With all those flights you didnt really have 1 negative thing to say about the travels. Thats very unlikely

Each alliance can get you around the world in at most 3 flights if you start in an alliance hub. Or London.
This is a new level of dedication to content creation. Respect.
