I stopped in Andy's the other day and had the pleasure of seeing this kit in the early stages of construction. Very cool to see the finished product after seeing it during the build. Andy's a cool dude! I highly recommend stopping in, picking up a few things for your modeling needs, and see his latest builds! Great selection of kits, a little overwhelming! it's super cool to see the table, tripod, etc where all the youtube vids come from. Thanks Andy!
As always a wonderful Video Andy!! The HANOMAG SS 100 was originaly designed as a civile traktor to tow 2 or 3 Trailers in transport companys and after the end of WW 2 produced for civil transportation until 1951 . The SS stands for "Schnell Schlepper" wich means fast traktor.
I also agree that the picture of the paints being used in the corner of the video is a nice touch. Great job Andy, you are the best and getting better.
Thanks for doing this build Andy, what a lovely kit & as always well demonstrated. What a great tip for recycling the Tamiya extra thin cement brush, I’ll be keeping mine from now on. Cheers.
Hey Andy. I'm from Finland and a huge fan 🙂 This year is Finland's 100th year of an independent country and it would be ablosutely fantastic if you could build Tamiya's Finnish Stug or BT- 42.
I bought one of these kits because I wanted the nosewheel towbar for a Kettenkrad, not quite sure how to use it in a Luftwaffe diorama other than maybe pulling a fuel trailer, the box art shows it towing a He 219, but I haven't seen photos of it doing that, or towing a me 262 or AR 234
Another awesome video! I'm looking forward to this kit when it becomes available. It will go well with my German HS -129 combo kit from Super Model. The small little window showing the different items is pretty cool. The camo scheme look well too...good call.
A great looking build Andy and nice job on the chipping and weathering. Love the Mustang as well. How about building and painting a 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk.VB some time?
Nice little model....( it really looks HUGE nxt to that P51) Nice to see something else from your tanks.... of course, NOW we want to see the diorama with the air plane.. :-) Would it be possible to create a little bigger diorama for a change? lets say 1/2 meter sq. or 1 by 1 meter... I really like to see a story happening.... This would be a great project because you can do EVERYTHING on one diorama.... with trees, tanks, perhaps some train track? The best thing would be some historical event..I am sure you be able to put together some models you had made previously. Just had a great idea. You can auction of the diorama for a good cause because I think a big diorama may look good, your shop is only so big.. :-)
actually after the war, during the occupation, the U.S. did use some of them, in fact I have a couple of shots taken in (I think '46') that have them with us markings pulling a cargo plane, the other is pulling a refueling tank. cool work
Testers is called Dull Cote, in cans or bottles. Its become a basic euphemism for Flat Clear. I think most paint vendors have a Gloss and a Flat Clear coating. ETA: I'd use the same paint brand of clear, you dont want to lift paint due to different chemistries. Probably not too bad with acrylics, but enamels taught me that lesson years ago.
Hiya Andy I'm a fellow modeller and I make videos it would mean a lot if you could check my channel out and give me tips and opinions on my models thanks

Good comparison. It's kind of soothing to watch either of them work.

Superb idea with the Tamiya glue brush for scratches.
Great video, I like the new thing you added with the picture of the paints and pigments you're using.

Nice looking model! I also enjoyed the tip on keeping the brush form the cement bottle. Means more money for models😁
Great build Andy

Might use that glue top for emblems on car kits
Its always a pleasure to view your informative and very easy to watch videos. 👍
Hey Andy, if you dip your windows in Future floor polish before installing them, they'll look more like glass and less like plastic.
Nice kit. Going to get it after work this Saturday. =)
As always, good paintjob!
Robert
Great job Andy!!!

Great kit and work :)
Great build. Really enjoyed this video
Thanks Jan
Great video, I didn't catch which specific color green you used for the camo. Any suggestions?
When doing camouflage, do you adjust your trigger for the fine line, or do you adjust the PSI down to . . . ?
Gj with music. Not any more andys classical music chanel :D
Lick to see you build a 1 48 scale panzer iv that wood be so good love your videos i love w.w 2 tanks
Great video Andy! I love the camouflage u made :D
Hi Andy, could you make a video building a tamiya P51 or a 1/700 yamato, great channel btw
nice store establishment.
Cool build
Andy, on the brushes that you save from the Tamiya cement bottle, do you wash the glue out of the brush with some solvent first?
At 14:10, did you seal the acrylic paints before adding enamel thinner? Or does the enamel thinner not affect acrylics? Awesome stuff!
yes

looking good
Hey Andy, forgot to ask, did the kit come with Luftwaffe markings or just the "Heer" ones you added? Thanks.
Also perhaps you can damage the model to some extend, like bend a fender....
Hi Andy, where can i get such a masking plate for wheels?
actually after the war, during the occupation, the U.S. did use some of them, in fact I have a couple of shots taken in (I think '46') that have them with us markings pulling a cargo plane, the other is pulling a refueling tank. cool work
Do you need to wash out the extra thin brush before using it with paint?
Kody Kuczynski not really, but it would probably be a good idea to rinse it out with clean water.
Looks interesting niche model something different
Any idea on the kit retail price?
Please build aircraft more 🙏🙏🙏
Andy you should build helicopters plz....
Can you do a M7 Priest video? ;p
Another great video! By the way, what happened to "The Mediocre Modelers Group" on Facebook? I sent a request to join, but never got a reply.
oh I set up the name to reserve it , haven't started it yet
Looking forward to it starting and seeing all kinds of modelers share their work :) Thanks.
What is this “dull coat” u always mention? We never see what this mystery product is...
flat clear spray lacquer
Andy's Hobby Headquarters Any particular brand? I’m new to hobby and making a list of things I need to buy.

By the end of WW2 when the Luftwaffe ran out of gasoline, they used cattle for pulling the planes.
andy... where are you from...?
