The detail on the latest Tamiya model in whatever scale are extremely well done. They do their research from remaining full sized tanks, trucks, cars, aircraft & half tracks. Also from available engineering drawings. RESEARCH THAT'S WHAT IT ALL ABOUT. GOOD JOB,ANDY
Great to see a new 1/48-scale kit! By the looks of it, typical Tamiya quality - easy assembly, very good detail and nice to have the option of building the Crocodile or standard Mark Vll variant (and annoying pin marks, grrrrrr). Really nice looking kit and good to have something a bit different. Tons of potential there, too. Another excellent video, Andy!
Nice looking build again Andy. I've got Tamiya's 1/35 scale Churchill in the stash that I've had for a while now. Seeing this come together has moved it up on my build list. Cheers! ;)
Currently working on AFV club’s Churchill in 1/35...all those springs are individual, as well as all the arms and guards under there. The whole thing is workable but took a LONG time to do...that one turned out nicely even though it was all one big piece.
I have a Takom Maus V2 sitting at home for one of my future builds, just waiting to finish college first. I saw a complete build on display in a model shop in Stockholm, Sweden during a vacation with my fiance and I was amazed by the pure scale of it so I had to have one. Getting to the point, I can understand why Tamiya did not include the rest of the track links for the Churchill, out of sight, out of mind! But for my own sense of completion I will be building the track for my Maus in its entirety and I like to have the option to do so but if Takom hadn't included the parts of the track that won't be visible on the Maus it wouldn't bother me and I would understand completely :) Great video, lovely build as usual, keep 'em coming!
From one Andy to another. Great Build. ASAP I will get on and add it to my more then 200 built and not built kits in my collection. LOL. Some I won't build because of one of a kinds for me and others I will. The Crocodile I will build.
Yo dawg, I heard you like tanks, so here's a little tank hitched to a big tank, so you can tow a tank with your tank while you're out tanking. I'll see myself out.
Hi Andy.wonderful build.weathering is very nice. Question.what do you think about to build a german "puma"?it is a eight wheel vehicle. It is also availible from tamiya,1/35 scale.very nice kit.thanks for all your videos, like your work very much. Greets from germany✌
Hi Andy. Could you do a video specifically on your airbrush/compressor and how you set up to paint? ie Do you thin down the paint before airbrushing? Greetings from Indiana.
I think this Churchill crocodile was part of the unit of funnys. I can't remember the name of the man who started it.Good job on the paint & detail of it, Andy.
Nice kit. A few suggestions: what about the Russian KV-2 tank and the Flakpanzer Gepard of Tamiya (1/16 display model). That would be very cool. Thanks!!
Built the 1/35th model some time ago, lot more complex, but a nice model, donated it mounted on a plinth to my friends father he wasn't a fan of models at all, ( as his son only ever built aircraft models) apart from this, mainly because he rode one during WW2 ..was 'well made up' with it
Tbh when I look for a specific model video, I always look to see if you’ve done a video of it. I find that your videos are the best out there. Also, when do you think this kit will be released to the world?
Andy...yes, I am a collector of 1:48 scale armor. Saw this announced on your vid of up coming kits. Now that you built it...I'm even more excited about getting my hands on one ASAP. A couple of questions on the prototype you received; did it come with a tank crew member? Was there any other Canadian markings other than the 79th Armored Div you placed on the tank? Thanks again for building the kit and looking forward to when it will be released!
ah wait, I didn't get it at 1st.... the part what they would use for throwing the flames is not the barrel that comes out of the turret...but rather a device to the side of the driver at the front
Hey Andy is this a true new kit from Tamiya? When i was 15 back in the late 1970's. I built this kit and in fact its still in the diorama. Maybe mine is in 32 scale i also made the German half track with the 4 gun anti aircraft set up with crew. As partof the same display. Situation of diorama crocodile is about to flame out german pillar box but on one side rear not seen by Tommies. The 4 barrels of the half track is about to blow the trailor Still makes me laugh. LOL
looking for a 1/32 scale of a carabu transport plane used by the Royal Australian Airforce during Vietnham, I was hopeing that with your contacts In the industry you could find me one. Cheers
The tracks is the deal breaker for me, I get the 1/35 scale Tamiya Churchill Mk.VII instead. Totally worth it especially with all the extra figures included in the box.
LET'S GET STARTED ON IT! As soon as i hear that, i start to smile. Andy you rock!
Lobo fräggt and I pretend to play the piano on my desk or lap when the music starts!! Haha!🙂👍🏻
*Clicks video
*Video starts playing
*Sees piles of BF-109G-6 kits
Andy are you trying to recreate the luftwaffe in 1/48?
Wargames are things, you know. It's an excuse to buy loads of dupes of the same kit.
Yes I have about 30 T-34s for Flames of War haha
He's going to do a beat by beat reenactment of WW2
Today i will be building all 20 of these bf 109s...
:D
Lol
Let's get started!
I was trying to think of something funny to say about the 109s too but you nailed it! LOL
Your videos are so chill and relaxing, I usually watch these just before going to sleep.
We have coincided in time, I have finished a crocodile churchill at 1:35 scale. Congratulations !!!
Glad to see another 1:48 armour release from Tamiya. Thanks for showing this Andy.
Thank you so much Andy, what a great kit, and you explain things so well, oh and I just love your music. Take care, from South Africa 🇿🇦
Very cool.
Never thought about 1/48 scale armor before.
Tank Chats has some interesting info on this subject tank.
Thanks Andy

Even from an experienced modeler these vids are satisfying
Andy, love your videos. I love that you will educate about the subjects.
Nice looking build again Andy. I've got Tamiya's 1/35 scale Churchill in the stash that I've had for a while now. Seeing this come together has moved it up on my build list. Cheers! ;)
Thanks Milijko,Hobart's Funnys, which proofed 2 be quite useful. I recognized it because of the bull insignia.
Currently working on AFV club’s Churchill in 1/35...all those springs are individual, as well as all the arms and guards under there. The whole thing is workable but took a LONG time to do...that one turned out nicely even though it was all one big piece.
Been too long waiting on a Churchill! And a 1/4" tank build. Most excellent.
Great vid, Andy. That tank would truly be large in 1/35th. Looks great in 48. Love your show
OH MY... ITS A LEANING TOWER OF BF109's!!!!
Andy, must say, your piano skills are really improving 😉😉

Awesome work as usual You make it seems so effortless Sign of a master builder
From one Andy to another. Great Build. ASAP I will get on and add it to my more then 200 built and not built kits in my collection. LOL. Some I won't build because of one of a kinds for me and others I will. The Crocodile I will build.

Nice kit, Thanks Andy and thanks Tamiya.
Churchill would be proud of this build .

He loves his commados
Winston Churchill's son
Seeing that many 109s in one place makes me cry tears of joy
Awesome, as always! Was your channel that inspired me to get back into the hobby.
This made my day, been a fan for ages Andy. Thanks for making the vids!
Yo dawg, I heard you like tanks, so here's a little tank hitched to a big tank, so you can tow a tank with your tank while you're out tanking.
I'll see myself out.
Andy's Hobby Headquarters, where every day is Christmas morning
My favourite tank!!
Andy is like Bob Ross, there's no mistakes, just happy accidents.
"Streaking grime looks a little heavy but that's okay..."
The music in 2:25 is favourite track of Red John from Mentalist criminal serial. It gives me the shivers!
I love 1/48 scale kits. They are a nice break from 1/35.
How lucky can someone be!!
Hi Andy.wonderful build.weathering is very nice.

As soon as the música and animaciones starts it's where the Magic happens!!!
Hi Andy. Could you do a video specifically on your airbrush/compressor and how you set up to paint? ie Do you thin down the paint before airbrushing?
Greetings from Indiana.
Also, what would be a good beginner airbrush/compressor?
Thanks
Great build Andy!
I think this Churchill crocodile was part of the unit of funnys. I can't remember the name of the man who started it.Good job on the paint & detail of it, Andy.
hobart
When you need move and live into a smaller room, 1/48 model kits will have much more advantage.
Nice kit. A few suggestions: what about the Russian KV-2 tank and the Flakpanzer Gepard of Tamiya (1/16 display model). That would be very cool. Thanks!!
Amazing vidéo and build!
Very cool build. Interesting on the lack of decals. I would have expected some type of British flag/roundel someplace.
Built the 1/35th model some time ago, lot more complex, but a nice model, donated it mounted on a plinth to my friends father he wasn't a fan of models at all, ( as his son only ever built aircraft models) apart from this, mainly because he rode one during WW2 ..was 'well made up' with it
Looks Awesome!
Do I paint the tire made of real rubber or soft plastic and then put a coat of vanish and then put weathering on it?
Andy, do you dull coat the finished model to seal in your weathering, or will that ruin the pigments that you applied?
wow.. that is a lot of bf109's. the must really sell!
when is the mass produced one coming out for us to buy, great video.
Great video..as always! What piece of beautiful classical is that used when you are building the trailer?
Nice Music as well
I just bought the 1/35 version.
Tbh when I look for a specific model video, I always look to see if you’ve done a video of it. I find that your videos are the best out there. Also, when do you think this kit will be released to the world?
Sooo THATS where all of Hermann's Planes went!
So, to be clear... WHICH version did you build? The flame throwing or regular tank?
He build the flamethrower version
The machine gun port at front is the flamethrower
Andy...yes, I am a collector of 1:48 scale armor. Saw this announced on your vid of up coming kits. Now that you built it...I'm even more excited about getting my hands on one ASAP. A couple of questions on the prototype you received; did it come with a tank crew member? Was there any other Canadian markings other than the 79th Armored Div you placed on the tank? it did have a figure which I was going to build and actually forgot
Ok, Also forgot to ask, did the driver/flame thrower guys hatch open up too?
Take a picture on your new dio that you built to display them on ,
I'm sure scale won't matter .
Would be good to see it on that road
Funny I actually have it displayed that way in my store
Andy great job! Do you thin out your washes on the tracks?
I've been trying to find the 1/35 scale one for a real long time but this seem decent enough
ah wait, I didn't get it at 1st.... the part what they would use for throwing the flames is not the barrel that comes out of the turret...but rather a device to the side of the driver at the front
That are a lot of messerschmidts. Are you going to do a video on that kit too?
I have already
Whoops, must have missed it. My bad!
Their 1977 1/35 kit is also good.
That looks awesome!
So army tires were painted green?
Which brand of streaking grime does Andy use?
Nice model!
Having stood next to this Tank its a monster, feels easy 6ft to the top tracks i was in awe, check it out in Donnington racing museum uk
Amazing!
man your a real pro, what fantastic work you do
i'm excited , you're excited. Lol!
Hi Andy, do you thin your dull coat with anything or do you spray it full strength . Love the vids and models you build
I'm a little confused, did you do the 1/25 Centurion already?? is there no build video for it? I was looking forward to that video.
its coming soon
Muito bom! Obrigado pela partilha. ;)

Any news on Tamiya (or someone else) doing A30 Chalenger ?
Where and what enamel thinner do you use?
Can you do one of the Panda-Hobby 1/35 M1235A1 MaxxPro Dash DXM?
looking for a 1/32 scale of a carabu transport plane used by the Royal Australian Airforce during Vietnham, I was hopeing that with your contacts In the industry you could find me one. Cheers
Can you make the Churchill 7 1\35
I guess Tamiya don't alloy cast their new 1/48 chasis anymore.
The tracks is the deal breaker for me, I get the 1/35 scale Tamiya Churchill Mk.VII instead. Totally worth it especially with all the extra figures included in the box.
Finaly a Churchill
Nice build!
What's the music playing at 8:24 ?
Ave Maria (Prelude in C major BWV 846) - Johann Sebastian Bach
th-cam.com/video/JoMg141ud04/w-d-xo.html
Thanks!
NIce..very nice..
Is it just me or is the tank trailer look alot like the Abrams turret?
yes!!!!
My Airfix kit I built 45 years ago did not look as good as yours
Why are there polycaps when the gear cannot run?
To allow you to turn the sprockets so that the track links can be aligned perfectly before they are glued in place.
Also makes things easier when it comes to painting and the such.
Anyone knowing a good model of an Italian tankette (CV. 33)?
I dont know if its good but I found this. www.amazon.com/Italian-Tankette-1-35-Bronco-Models/dp/B001GLWMTE
thanks a lot I'll try to find some extra info about this kit
What dolt coat do you use for sealing in your decals?
I usually ude testors 1260 or tamiya ts80
that is a lot of bf109s xD
well me yes 4ok it and ues it as hell hound tank but if did as is i think if get a show ( TLIHMCS SHOW) i do as is will see more
Build a revell model
Instead of showing the usual black and white painting that you do on your models,I would like to have seen the turret build.
Hi Andy! You have not answered question in your last video yet...
what question was that
Andy's Hobby Headquarters what brown color did you airbrush with on the diorama
Nato brown XF 67
Thank you, it looks fantastic with that brown!
