The best NIN Line-up. Finck, Lohner, Clouser, Dillon. I saw them at The Fragile tour and half a year later at this show. Two completely different experiences. In my opinion, this is when Nine Inch Nails peaked.
What a great show - they all look AMAZING! I was glued to the screen the entire time. Their outfits, their energy, the music...even the edits of the live footage by whatever TV station this is makes it really dynamic.
This very show changed my life! I had heard bits and pieces of NIN before this, without really getting into it. But then I was absolutely blown away by their performance! Have seen them live nine times since, and they will always remain my favorite band (if you can call them/him that) of all times!
Nope. He overdosed on July 9, 2000 after playing a festival in Monza, Italy, while on the way to London. The subsequent few gigs were cancelled. Roskilde 2000 was from June 30 to July 2. It's the same year 9 people were stomped to death during Pearl Jam.

His singing is uncanny. That distortion and power and yet elegance. Jesus christ. The Sound is amazing also. God amongst men. Even back then.
