Eldlich is no longer that big of a problem to me since the last few weeks of season 1. I also beat Dryton sometimes but Dryton is more annoying. The title says "If you hate Eldlich" but then he uses a more annoying deck lol.
You literally can't play the game with Drytron while some Eldlich matchups like Sky Striker vs Eldlich is actually fun af. Drytron is either you draw Maxx C/Nibiru or Ash/Imperm the right target or you lose, and that's IF they also don't have Called By/their own Ash vs. Maxx C. Droll and Lock is a solution but without Bo3 sidedecking no one's gonna main deck Droll against one deck when other top decks also exist.

When i consider Eldlich and Drytron i always think that playing against eldlich isn't that bad. It's fun instead of playing against Drytron.
Is this a joke? Since when you "play" against Drytron? You can't play you watch how a psycho rapes your deck to the point surrender is the only option xD
I just want to share, one time i maxx c a drytron player (the one time they dont have a called by, ash, orange light) and then proceed to draw ash for the diviner and the rock…. They just scoop, god that felt so satisfying

I think you just made people hate Drytron more than Eldlich tbh. That omni negate to everything that is not once per turn is disgusting
but that'ts not drytron per se that's an Herald card with 2000 atk, Drytron just happens to be able to easily summon it because Meteonis uses attack instead of levels and Herald happens to have 2k atk, if Herald was something Like 2050 atk then drytron wouldn't be able to summon the thing, at that point it's Konami's Oversight
@@anon2447 Herald might be the card yes but Drytron is the one who enabled the once hard-to-summon Herald to easily hit the field and say no to your enemy playing yugioh. Back then, summoning herald was a challenge. Now, you just need 1 or 2 card in hand and you win by summoning herald going first if your enemy draw no hand trap

Drytron and Eva is the problem here, Herald of Ultimateness used to sucked because of it's a riddiculous level 12 Ritual Monsters not to mention Fairy doesn't have that much support back then, but with Drytron Ritual Spell it can be brought much easier, Eva also when send to the graveyard can search for up to 2 more fairies to the hand, which mean more negates.

It is Drytron fault, they can search for any kind of ritual monster and able to summon them with the same spell like advance ritual.

Herald is a csrd that's way older than the drytron archetype, players just happened to notice that drytron's ritual spell brings it easily
Because the card was not supposed to be used like that, at its release it was considered reasonable that the cost was to discard a card, but with the evolution of the game and new archetypes, drawing cards became much easier leading to abominations like this one.
Screw that I hate Dytron Herald more. 1 card doing everything while eldlich does multiple cards to function.

As much as I hate Eldlich, it's nothing compared to the extent to which I positively *LOATH* Drytron + Herald of Ultimateness.
When it comes to Drytron vs. Eldlich, it's whether or not drytron goes first or not.

@@patrickjosephgamboa187 well in t h e o r y it’s a 1 for 1 in terms of card advantage. Discard a fairy to negate a effect. Problem is that when you get it out turn 1 and have 5 cards to burn then your opponent can’t do anything. You just have to pray you open MAXX C and Crossout or you scoop.
@@yeager1957 I can see where you're coming from and yeah, the cost of having to discard a fairy to use it is a bit of a fair cost but at the same time, its also a bit insane how it can be used at anytime in either player's turn and the biggest issue I have with it is that opponents using Herald often have ways to either search for a fairy in their deck or recycle the discarded fairies and that's one of the biggest issues for Herald
Even if you do get rid of herald with a kaiju, they still have those handtraps and that by the time they give your turn, they already have boss monsters with negates of their own as well. Herald and overall, dryton decks are just mad insane. But have a key card or two banned in them and that might shift the tides in future plays for it.
Honestly facing an eldlich deck is way more bearable. Banishing eldlich with dimension fissure often does the trick for me

I think playing against eldlich is not that bad its just that there are so many people playing the golden boy that it gets boring at times but drytron on the other hand unless you draw a hand trap/unnegatable spell you may as well surrender
Drytron players even have ways to bait out Nibiru. They would ritual summon Benten to see if there's a response then they would bait to end their turn. Of course the opposing player wouldn't let this slip away so they'll activate Nibiru. Drytron players would let Nibiru summon but they'll get a ton of resources back and build their board back up. That's the best case scenario for the opposing player. Worst is the Drytron player will just negate it with the Herald handtrap

Yeah for me Eldlich is not a bad match up. But Drytron on the other hand if Herald is out, I can't do much unless I find a way to just overpower his 3000 Def

@@bruskydu yep i always search a orange light and another fairy monster just in case i got nibiru (ultimateness can also be a negate fodder when you haven’t summon him on to the field yet). Tbf nibiru isn’t that big of a problem for drytron advanced player, there’s lot of ways to negate it. What really put concern for most people is probably droplets (this also can be prevented by equipping a B-buster drake to the herald, a really good anti droplet)i think the one thing can removed the ultimateness is kaiju which "tribute" the opponent monster and this does not consider as a card effect activation because you’re tributing(well at least you’re saved from 5-6 omni negates, but they could also have some hand trap or a orange light which can negate and destroy your monster)

@@prophetmuhammad3890 naaa max C is 10000000% worse. Max C forces you to play at minimum 5 hand traps just to counter it. Because if you don't counter it you basically have to pass your turn otherwise you give your opponent way to much advantage. And unless you can deck them out or Iblee ulock them you lose 99.9% of the time against any compent deck if you try to max C challenge.

Drytron is definitely more annoying with a card that has omni negates that aren’t once per turn and if they have eva on their hand they actually go plus off a negate and get even more negates.
And before someone comes here to tell me “just run kaiju, Dark ruler no more, ash, call by the grave” you can literally say that for any deck.
Not to mention orange herald in case you somehow get rid of Ultimate dude... So better have those Called & Sphere / Lava / Kaiju on hand
I just play Krawlers. The only decks I have a harder time on is Eldlich and Trap Trix cause they more backrow oriented but not too much. Lythosagym is a good card and in Krawlers he can be used with a second deus Ex to make Calamities. And with your lvl two Krawlers make the rank 2 Phantom knight which negates a monsters effects,changes atk to 0 and then after he attacked u can Zeus him.
And if you're Yusei fan you can always include Junk Synchron to make some (unnecessary yet fun) plays (Including battlewasp lvl 12)
And aside of Orcust Mekk that is limited to 1, and worm bait, do you have something different on your flippa Brothas? (I took note of Lytho, thanks)

I finally got to plat 5 the other day and personally i like to play with non meta decks because i like making fun decks and i legit went against nothing but drytron decks and lost 6 times straight and got demoted to gold

I had the exact same thing happen to me but I was the eldlich player. Had full backrow, opponent had 5 cards at hand, tried to bait all 4 before finally activating skill drain, hoping he'd run out of fairy cards, but what do you know, apparently all his 5 cards at hand were fairies 😄

Ali: I dislike Drytron far more than any deck you can think of, Konami need to banned all not once per turn negate effect. They can hurt all other deck and if new players come of any tournament, they be rage quit. Any decks need to run Sphere mode, Kaiju, and lava golem to counter them.

Just play against herald + one other fusion who did similar with herald and negate everything.
I manage to holding herald negate with witchcraft, but the other one add more negate, + angel benten take control the only monster I able to summon...
