    One can only wonder at how many civilizations there must be out there, not just in M83, but in all the Universe...I wonder if they also look at our Milky Way and ponder the question "Are we truly alone in the Universe?"

      @@JT_8283 no one can prove that god did everything at the same time no one can prove that no, you probably aren't the one who has the answer to that, so what's left is a universe of billions of galaxies seeded with trillions of worlds that, as you probably tend to believe, grew out of the absolute nothingness of the great, infinitely rapid expansion of the big bang. I believe that all this could not have arisen by chance but that some reason or cause generated all this, be it rational or divine, which we call God, who makes everything have a direct and natural meaning. What do you think, I don't know and I don't really care to know either, but going around disagreeing with people's beliefs because of your own idea is not an ethical thing to do, would you like to be disagreeing, even without the other giving reasons for it, just like you do?

      Im Grunde kann man sagen, du liegst vollkommen falsch und gleichzeitig genau richtig.

    I think we human beings would be utterly lost without our ability and compulsion to label and categorize everything we see, and even that which we don't see, or for that matter, understand. It's our way of reassuring ourselves that we are in control of absolutely everything we see and surrounds us without acknowledging that Super Power that in fact truly does understand, creates, AND nows.

    So we basicly see it as a star when we look up in the sky? How many 'stars' that we think are stars are infact galaxies? I know the andromeda and now this one...but are there more? How many can we see with our own eye? Does anyone know?

    • @anzaeria
      @anzaeria 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many more galaxies. The closest galaxies to our own milky way are part of the so called 'local group.' Two of these galaxies can be seen very easily in the Southern Hemisphere with the unaided eye. Those two being the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Small Magellanic Cloud.

    • @messier8379
      @messier8379 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anzaeria local group is quite small..
      Milkyway, Andromeda, Triangulum and a few numbers of Satellite galaxies..but still there's other members of Local Groups that aren't bound to Three Giants..
      one of them is Barnard Galaxy which is in the distance of 1.17Million Light-years..
      A subgroup called "antila sextans" which was made of 5 galaxies,the largest member is NGC3109 which was a Small spiral galaxy just 4.338Million Light-years however they are receding and not gravitational bound to Milkyway galaxy
      There's also NGC404 aka Mirach's ghost which is a Lenticular Galaxy ,kinda far over 10Million Light-years..
      There's also two larger Galaxies NGC300 and NGC247 both were half the size of Milkyway, however they are more Gravitational Bounded to Sculptor Group of Galaxies then the Local Group..
      The Sculptor Group has slight chances to merge with Local Group but that's was getting overwhelmed by Expansion

      Blue stars are hot and young , and the older stars are red.

    • @you2tooyou2too
      @you2tooyou2too ปีที่แล้ว

      Your eyes are way too small & insensitive to see any image at all, much less color, and much less the infra-red 'color', from those celestial objects. Black & white photography even strips out any color, replacing it with some amount of white. As with all modern digital photography (even your phone) the photons are measured, and turned into a numbers file. The display then turns that data into a screen image. Both steps depend on the photonic behavior of the camera & display, which is inherently different from your retina, so they are designed to 'interpret' the data for your retina. That sometimes requires very complex compensation for those differences to try to put a meaningful image on your retina.
      You can see some of that for yourself by watching your TV remote directly with one eye (nothing seen by your eye directly, of the infra-red control signal) and the other eye on the phone camera image of your IR control.
      So, the answer is "both", because the sky is more colorful than you can see just with your merely human eyes.
