What people dont even think about (maybe it’s just me) is that your truck there to rescue has the same forces of gravity working against it and is heavy enough to cause the side of the road to break loose sending it tumbling off the cliff too. This stuff is not exactly just hook up a winch line and yank it on out of there. Great job!!! 👏 you make it look easy.
I give you 5 stars for everything. That was the best customer service I have ever seen under that stressful of a situation. I hope that guy learned his lesson about trailer and cliffs.
One time we decided to turn a small trailer around kinda like that. We used a spade under the jack leg as a ski and wrassled the trailer around while the spade person steered. Thanks for the video
that sounds like a neat trick to do it, but I wonder what could happen on a downhill slope like in this case. Once the spade slide starts going, can it be stopped easily? The way they did it, when they dropped the trailer the jack dug in to keep the trailer from moving any further.
Great work. Fits under the category of "Sketchy At Best"! Definitely were not singing "hello darkness my old friend"! Sounded like the customer had a dog inside the trailer, imagine what that looks like?
BTW they make handheld chain saws, just a chain with handles on each end, ive use them a ton, extremely tiny, would have been a huge help in this situation.
@@nyleluke We have cordless chainsaws. We didn't want it cut down, that would have been even more in the way. In that situation it was better to leave it up where it was.
