Fiat is returning to America with their iconic 500 model, but this time it is in fully electric form! The Italian brand brings familiar styling, upgraded interior and a very streamlined model lineup with the 2024 500e. Join us as we go for a drive and see if the power and range numbers are sufficient for this little EV city car, how the interior feels and even try out the rear seat space!

If Fiat can bring this to the US, Honda could’ve brought the Honda E as well.

I’m all for little tiny EV city cars. I really liked the Nissan Sakura I drove in Japan

I would buy one in hybrid version. I have heard rumours that they are thinking about a hybrid 500 to help sales of this car here and abroad

I hope Fiat will introduce the electric panda for the US market

Make it at least as fast as the Cooper SE and it'd be an awesome competitor 👍🏼

Eddie, they've already built the electric Abarth.

Considering the _huge_ size difference, I don't think anyone will cross shop a Fiat 500e with a Tesla. (Not to mention the _huge_ style difference too! LOL) Oh, and they already have an Abarth version, which is about 20% more expensive.

Yes. All the Teslas are just too damn big to be fun.

Should be using the 1.3 Turbo engine and be priced at $26K.

$34K is too much to ask for less than 200miles per charge. Also missing a lot of features from the european models

So disppointed. I drove the old 500e before. it got 100 miles. Believe me it was not enough even for one day of use because I live in the suburbs. Not to mention if you turn on the AC, step a little harder on the gas padel, when the weather gets colder, they all eat away from that 100 miles of range. You never get 100 miles. Even the new 500e only has 149 miles. Not good. For the 2024 release, they should at least have 200 miles of range.

Very true, people like having the option of driving in the cities and when they want to travel they can just jump in the car and do a road trip. You are right no one in the U.S. is just going to set aside 34k for a car with 149 miles of range just for the city. Fiat always miss the mark when it comes to what consumers want want.

@@bh2155 140 miles is 2 1/2 hours of driving. If you don't stop and stretch your legs for 20 mins and a charge after that, you're not livin. Seriously. That's bad for everyone.
