- Hi welcome to $3 Train To Kanchanaburi And My Cheapest Hotel in Thailand. Time to move on from Bangkok and this time i am heading to Kanchanaburi. The train journey from Thonburi is a little known secret to a lot of people as it is not advertised anywhere, due to being so cheap. The ticket price was 100 baht that's less than $3 for a 3 hour journey.

Hi Richy. You do not need to stay in overpriced luxury hotels, with all them fancy gadgets that don't work sometimes. As long as the place is clean, tidy and quiet enough at night to get a good nights sleep, then that is good enough for me. No frills with all the thrills! Hi Richy. Just in process of booking hotel in kanchanaburi. Can you recommend a decent 1. Near the bars. I looked at 1 called royal nine. Do u know it
Hi Tony, I haven’t heard of the royal nine to be honest. There are so many in the area. I have stayed in the bluestar guesthouse and that was decent they have a lot of different rooms at varied prices and it’s right in the centre. It all depends what your budget is mate.
@@ParkinsonRaw I ended up booking a hotel called The Bridge Residence. It appears to be right in the centre where the bars and restaurants are.
