Yeah bro I feel You. I felt like Quitting also. Especially with truck breakdowns. And it's not even about having money savd sometimes. It's just that you can't find the parts because everything's on back order. They can't even give you a ETA on when they might have one available so you're just at home like a sittin duck. it's a Dollar waiting on a dime.. I guess it's just part of the game.... we gotta stay strong....
If you get in this now and youre a company driver, meaning you drive someone elses van with no overhead but you still cover all fuel costs yourself expect to make $800-1200 weekly takehome (after any bs fees or whatever) Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, Its up and down every week. If you are an owner opps expect to make mid 2k-3k a week. STMSTL ..These are rates if your dispatcher is any kind of good.
I'd like to speak with you about leasing to your company to get the experience. I have a 2022 F-350 and a 30 ft trailer. I do have a CDL. I have my own authority but I'm new to the game. I've contacted a few dispatchers and will be dealing with some to get out there. After the new year, my intent is to get rolling on my own. I do own another business, so I'm not stressed out with a ton of debt to make it.
Cdl A driver with only 3 years experience. Deployed right now but seriously considering doing hot shot when I get back. I'm going to pay cash for my truck for sure but I also want to work with a company before I go on my own just to get a little taste of that industry. I can't really seem to find a company that offers hotshot though at least not for a company driver. Any advice? I do like the positivity about it in the video. So many people are negative about it. I know there is money to be made and I will make it just need to get into it first.
Im doing some research for a project. What are some of the biggest operational headaches you guys deal with daily? Ive heard BOL generation, and sending invoices is a headache.
Mike bruh please help me out, I’m getting in hot shot I got a plan sold my 40 grand car getting my truck tomorrow and last night I was trying to fill out for my DOTMC number and it asked me had I ever been convicted of distribution of narcotics bro please tell me there’s a way around that all the people you got on here. Please tell me you know?
I have a class B cdl that allows me to drive a single vehicle over 26k lbs GVWR and pull a trailer not to exceed 10k GVWR. That seems like a CDL that would allow for a CDL in Box Truck but not hot shot. Is that correct and is that better than the non CDL for box truck?
@@entremike still living the dream. Been doing a lot of local work here lately. Mostly 150 mile radius or so. Rates seem to be creeping up some in my area so I might get back out on the road soon.
I’ve noticed this cat tries to convince you out of the biz, then when you ask questions to better yourself in the biz, he’s crickets😅 Unsubscribe and find a “supportive” guide.
That’s some of the problem with this industry. So many of these people on U Tube was on here talking about how they was making 10,000 a month and it made so many people want to go out and buy equipment. It’s flooded the market with hot shot companies. They should of been telling the truth about how tough it is out here. Instead they just wanted the clicks and make a little change from U Tube.
Entre Mike!!! Bro they unsubbed me. I took a break but I'm itching to get at them low rates and make some broker rich. I had a broker tell me he'd call me back tomorrow cause he was on vacation with his family in Arizona. 🤔 Something about this isn't adding up.
Those dispatcher email addresses you posted come back as if they do not exist. Could you please provide updated email addresses for the dispatcher. Thanks and great content I’ve already signed up for all the other services you’ve recommended. Oh and one more question. You show two different DAT board links do you use them both and if so at what level are you subscribed for each. I want to subscribe at the level you’re subscribed at. Thanks
things are just tough out there man and part of the problem is these youtubers encouraging more young kids lost in life to be competition on the road for the rest of us. its all horrible man,
Lmao, so people who are “lost in life” regardless of age shouldn’t seek out something different? People who are truly successful in trucking aren’t affected by spot market conditions. Relax.
