    You can overcome this problem with obs screen mirroring. Or set main display 120 hertz . Because HD60s+ can receive video from a maximum 120 hertz source.

    thanks for the info! I've set all my setting like this and I can't get OBS to display whats on the capture card on the streaming computer. Any tips?

    At the 2:00 mark on the video you change the refresh rate on your HD60S+ to 60hz. I can select that option but as soon as I click Apply it reverts it back to 144hz. Have no idea why? Therefore when proceeding to the next part of your video the HD60S+ is greyed out at 144hz. Any idea why? On my streaming PC I'm getting flickering and have no idea why so trying to go through everything to find a fix

    • @StevieShilts
      @StevieShilts ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spunxedits I did fix mine in the end. As long as your display settings refresh rate is at 60hz for the capture card then that’s what really matters. I ignore this Nvidia one as it’s not what was causing the issue.

    • @StevieShilts
      @StevieShilts ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spunxedits Slight setting changes in my Elgato software and on gaming pc. Don’t worry about the nvidia settings too much. Just make sure you are Duplicating your displays (display settings) on your gaming pc and right click then go to display settings > advanced display and make sure that the refresh rates are correct. Monitor refresh rate and then your Elgato which will probably be 60

    • @StevieShilts

      The settings on the Elgato for me were as follows.
      On the device tab I can see the Elgato is selected. My video output is the same as what was set in the display settings on the gaming pc (1440p/60). Audio output was analog audio. HDMI colour range is bypass same as input. Input EDID mode is Internal. EDID internal was set to 1440p same as device.

      @@StevieShiltsany thing else u have to do ? that didnt work for me. im having same flickering issue and my eglato is set to 60hz in windows setting but nvidia panel stays at 144hz

      @@JF-ph7uv Is it flickering on the preview screen in OBS/Elgato Capture Software or is it flickering when you playback the recorded file?

    Hello I followed the steps and when I change the refresh rate in the "change resolution" it is still locked under 60hz for my gaming monitor

    • @ASFCS
      @ASFCS ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You have to actually press on 1 (your gaming monitor) when you press clone with 2 you can’t just right click and clone while hovering over 1 was making that mistake for about 1hr

    • @DanzGaymer
      @DanzGaymer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@castaben Basically when the video says clone with 2. Your meant to clone with 1 (Your Monitor NOT the Capture Card)

    i subbed! So many other video recommended using obs as projector source which gives you less frame rate(5-10%)

    Si basically we need 2pc , if I have a gaming pc and a Mac(laptop) as a streaming pc will it work
    And what about consols

    • @SinfulProphet
      @SinfulProphet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you need a second PC to use the elgato. However everything shown in this video is done of the main gaming PC. For the new consoles I believe you should be able to play at 1080p 120hz. But will only be able to confirm later this year when I can afford a new console.

    So do I need two monitors

    • @SinfulProphet
      @SinfulProphet  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you will have your primary gaming PC monitor, and your second PC which the elgato is connected to. The elgato will show as a second display in your graphics settings
