I am loving this, folks! I was here in April, six months ago. London is very exciting. I love the architure and things to do, etc. Thank you for these videos! Gwen, Western Washington state, out by the Pacific ocean. 🎉🎉🎉
Oh wow! I'm a dual Brit Canadian. Currently in the UK but other home is Vancouver BC. I've crossed the border into WA at least 400 times. Bellevue WA is practically my third home! How interesting to see you are in WA. I'm also very familiar with OR state. Especially Portland and the Oregon Coast. Hope all is well in the Evergreen State & the PNW. 🇺🇲🇨🇦🇬🇧
@@ibs5080Thank you for your lovely message! Amazing that you have crossed over the border into Washington that many times! You are practically a "local" (someone who lives here fulltime). I actually live south of Seattle, and have been up to Victoria on Vancouver Island many times. Like you, I love Portland and the Oregon Coat. In December 2021 I drove down the Oregon Coast as I wanted to go to the Oregon Coast Aquarium (I love animals and sea life). Got caught in 78 mile and hour winds! What a storm! Even the crab boats were coming in to outride that storm. I hope you are enjoying lfe in the Uk.
How lovely to hear from you Gwen, I am so glad you joined the stream, thank you:) And I see you have already met our resident Brit Canadian who supports this channel so much. All the best, Angela
Thanks Angela! I love the walks you do right by the Thames River, along with all of your other videos. Next time I'm in London I hope to go up the Shard, don't know if I spelled that correctly. Something the UK and western Washington state have in common is ..... the weather! Looking forward to your next video.

So glad I could bring back memories of these places. Kingston, Bentalls etc has changed so much since I came to the area 30 years ago. And Bentalls is now owned by Fenwick, which looks strange now with the new logo over it. Ah wel....
Thank you so much for the support Chris and Sandra, I really appreciate it, especially the correct turn into the market! Hope you had a good day today. Angela
@@ChattyWalkswithAngela How did the live walk go today? Did you eat a lot of cheese? I most likely will not get to watch it until Monday night as this my weekend to close the store. Take care Chris and Sandra of Canada.
Hey there Ross Roams, how are you? Lovely to hear from you, wish I'd known you were there! And thank you for the kind comment, much appreciated. How goes it in your world? All the best, Angela
Thank You very much for this Live stream Angela. Apologies I had to leave near the end and when I came back, the live stream had finished. Enjoyed the live interaction with you even though the verbal part is obviously one way, due purely to the nature of these. When you replay this for yourself, you will be able to see and hear the brief sound cutouts and picture blinks. Not your fault of course and everything was still of very good quality. Your panning around technique is very steady and at a reasonable speed btw. I will rewatch this a second time, as always with live chats and typing, one can miss much detail. Thank You again and I'll also respond in due course from comments we were exchanging in a previous video re comparisons with the Pacific Northwest (PNW).
Thank you, I found your comments really helpful during the stream, although the phone screen isn't good at keeping comments on screen for very long, so I miss some of them. As you say, playback is helpful for that! All the best, Angela
@ChattyWalkswithAngela Hi, I really enjoyed this, there's something about live-streaming that is missing from pre-recorded videos, I think it's the anticipation of what could occur at any moment! I look forward to seeing more from you in the future, and hopefully I'll catch one live too.
Thank you (again) Mr Watched Walker 🌝 I agree, livestreaming has a very different energy, which I didn't expect actually. Re: what could occur, I've had a copyright claim for 16 seconds of music playing from a bar during the walk! Hope you're well, Angela
Thank you:) I couldn't get Prism to work, so I used the native TH-cam app, but I'm keen on Prism if not just for the 1080 capacity. I've uninstalled/reinstalled it and it looks like it's working properly now. Hope you are well. Angela
@@ChattyWalkswithAngela hiya, sorry for the delay in reply. Yeah just keep playing around with the settings on prison. I think 720 works best. If you know you’ve got a solid signal then 1080 is a really good option. Looking forward to seeing more streams.
One other thing with live streams, not sure if you need / desire a few moderators? We've done this with WW's Premieres for example. And on a sidenote, many viewers think his premieres are live when in fact that's not the case. One other thing with premieres and live streams. Because everyone is engrossed in the chat, it's often overlooked by folks to actually Like the video. Perhaps the occasional gentle reminder during the live stream is in order? For example "Don't forget to Like this video if you are enjoying it folks". Moderators can also periodically write these reminders in the live chat. An interesting way to get an idea of the percentage of live viewers that have so far liked a video: Compare the number of folks watching to the number of Likes so far. For example, there may be 100 people currently watching but only 80 so far Liked the video. At which point, a reminder might be in order. I'm basing all the above purely on WW's premieres btw. Hope this helps.
Those are great ideas, thank you so much. If I keep up the livestreams and if people turn up for them in sufficient numbers, then yes, I'll definitely be doing those sorts of things. At the moment, I'm just grateful that someone else is at the other end of the lens! All the best, Angela
@@ChattyWalkswithAngela Had Mum and I been anywhere near where you were filming, you may very well have found us "at the other end of the lens" in person! Wouldn't that be a first!

@watchedwalker I've appealed it under fair use, not optimistic but worth a try! I'll mute it if I don't succeed.
