I own 9 guitars...most were from $2000 to $4000 guitars, and believe it or not, at this moment, my 2 favorite guitars are my $800 Schecter and my $700 Ibanez...For me, in order for a guitar to stay in my studio, it has to actually do something for me that inspires me in one way or another. If it doesnt, its gone...as a 40+year player, it took me a long time to realize cost is NEVER the factor that makes a guitar worth keeping. great answer my friend... young guys HAVE to know that quality can be great at $1000 even less....

Sure, but the quality of this thing is also great in terms of playability, sound, finish, and so on. - It's just not as fancy as perhaps a Gibson or what have you. - But why bother with a show piece if you're going to play the hell out of it.
Blaydrnnnr schecter is killing it with their more high end models (and certain expensive brands are just ridiculous and banking on people still being interested in paying for vintage ”mojo” - im betting that demographic is getting smaller)

As a father of two with one more on the way; I find that practising means so much more when you don't have that much time to do so. I try to play every day even if it's at a low volume. My daughter rushes into the room as soon as she hears me playing. She even falls asleep while I play. My son loves metal music and bashes on anything with spoons or pencils. For some reason that question made me wanna pop in and comment. It's not that hard, guys. When my wife first got pregnant I thought my life would become more controlled but it didn't. It just got busier! :)

10:53 That's exactly the mindset I wish more people had. I consider myself religious, but I still listen to bands like Emperor, Behemoth, etc because they write good music. Black Metal is my favorite genre cause they just have that feeling of chaos in their songs that no other metal subgenre usually can replicate. I don't care if some of the bands are anti-religious, it's their music that I like. Also, thanks for keeping religion & politics out of your videos.
