I think I'll simply use the same yarn Rebecca used for her sample: De Rerum Natura Ulysse. I have been wanting to try this yarn for ages and this feels like the perfect opportunity. I'm still not sure about the colour though. I want it to be a light colour, but I don't like greys very much and white doesn't seem to be quite right as well. Luckily I still have some time to think until the pattern is released. Maybe I'll see a tester's version in a colour that really inspires me.

I just discovered your channel, and I'm so glad I did! Your Storm sweater is gorgeous - the color looks amazing with your hair. Also thanks for the tip on the Cumulus blouse bind-off. I need to redo mine as well and was trying to figure out if I should just reduce the decreases or get rid of them altogether, and whether I should go up a needle size as well. Something I really wanted to knit is the Pressed Flowers Cardigan by Amy Christophers. I finally found the right yarn a few months ago, and I'm knitting on the button band as I watch this! One sleeve left :) It's been an absolute joy to knit, and I'm really loving the (almost) finished cardigan. Highly recommend that line of patterns if you haven't knit them yet. I've been working on a summer tea (I'm in New Zealand, so there's no rush 😂) but found some gorgeously squishy yarn at a charity shop yesterday and have gotten distracted turning that into a vests. I fell in love with it when I first saw it, especially since it’s kind of similar to my favourite sweater that I got from H&M years ago and would love to swap for a more quality and sustainable piece. I haven’t casted on yet because I don’t know what I want to knit it with - the recommended yarns are a bit weird and it would cost me a fortune to get them to Poland, so I’m waiting for some inspiration for a good swap 😅

I am not able to read/knit from charts. Luckily, designers like Irene Lin and My Favourite Things Knitwear include written instructions as well as charts in their patterns, so I’m currently knitting the Lyra Tee! I’d like to try Sweater No. 29 in the fall ✨
Thank you so much ♥️ Reading charts can be a bit daunting, but trust me when I say it's really do-able! The Storm Sweater does have quite a few charts though, so maybe not the easiest for a first pattern with chart, but I'm sure you could do it 💪🏻
Weaving in the ends near the side ‘seam’ would show less. Weaving each of your two yarns separately, different directions, may show less. For a thicker yarn you can separate the tail into its individual ply and weave in separately in different directions. Your yarn tension looks fabulous, and the Cumulous V neck is terrific. I have my eye on Natasja Hornby’s Maeron but have my plan set for the next few makes already . Maybe 2025.

I was eyeing the Zipper Sweater and patterns like it for some time and had just cast that on (in lovely BC Garn Loch Lomond and Camarose Midnatsol) as the BCC came along and immediately jumped onto my needles- no regrets though! In terms of summer knitting I am contemplating the CÉCILE Top by paulastrickt in order to try KFO pure silk which I have eyed for ages... Question: Are there any techniques you haven't tried yet for one reason or another? If so, what are they and what's maybe stopping you? I for example have not yet knit anything in fisherman's rib and don't even have a special reason why, other than that I thought trying my hand at the construction of the collar for the zipper sweater was challenge enough, otherwise I would probably have cast on the Lanark sweater (also the pattern was more expensive), but if the Zipper Sweater works out like I want to; I may just want a Lanark as well 😄

Merci pour cet épisode toujours très intéressant 😊 pour la cumulus blouse je suis en train d´en tricoter une deuxième et pour avoir une version plus décolletée je fais une taille L (versus S normalement). Ton storm sweater est très beau 😍😍 je tricote un November jacket avec la peer gynt et je suis un peu sceptique ! Je trouve cette laine super rustique, un peu rêche même (et elle sent le mouton 😅). J’espère que ça partira avec le bloquage. J’ai hâte de connaître ton avis sur la laine post bloquage !

I am so sorry that Moon Set Tee didn't come out as intended 😢 It is a shame, I know that feeling as this year I had similar experiences. I have to say, though, it is a nice shape for tee, and I would like to make this one for myself, but I am afraid of so small needles. I am currently working on Book Club Cardigan by Sari and Step by Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. I'd love to finish BCC this year as it is a bit challenging to work on, it is my first cable project. Yours look soooo good. I would also like to make this year second Step by Step Cardigan in gold colour. Now I have green hand dyed yarn for my first, but I am itching for the gold one with Isager mohair. For knit and chat I would like you to tell us what are you biggest knitting dreams and goals. Do you have favourite yarn so far? Or fiber in general? I think I'll simply use the same yarn Rebecca used for her sample: De Rerum Natura Ulysse. I have been wanting to try this yarn for ages and this feels like the perfect opportunity. I'm still not sure about the colour though. I want it to be a light colour, but I don't like greys very much and white doesn't seem to be quite right as well. Luckily I still have some time to think until the pattern is released. Maybe I'll see a tester's version in a colour that really inspires me.

I just discovered your channel, and I'm so glad I did! Your Storm sweater is gorgeous - the color looks amazing with your hair. Also thanks for the tip on the Cumulus blouse bind-off. I need to redo mine as well and was trying to figure out if I should just reduce the decreases or get rid of them altogether, and whether I should go up a needle size as well.
Something I really wanted to knit is the Pressed Flowers Cardigan by Amy Christophers. I finally found the right yarn a few months ago, and I'm knitting on the button band as I watch this! One sleeve left :) It's been an absolute joy to knit, and I'm really loving the (almost) finished cardigan. Highly recommend that line of patterns if you haven't knit them yet. Congrats on 1K subscribers! My dream knit has been the twist loop sweater by Other Loops. I fell in love with it when I first saw it, especially since it’s kind of similar to my favourite sweater that I got from H&M years ago and would love to swap for a more quality and sustainable piece. I haven’t casted on yet because I don’t know what I want to knit it with - the recommended yarns are a bit weird and it would cost me a fortune to get them to Poland, so I’m waiting for some inspiration for a good swap 😅

I dream of a cable knit sweater or something like the storm sweater (I actually have the pattern…), but, alas! I am not able to read/knit from charts. Luckily, designers like Irene Lin and My Favourite Things Knitwear include written instructions as well as charts in their patterns, so I’m currently knitting the Lyra Tee! I’d like to try Sweater No. 29 in the fall ✨

Reading charts can be a bit daunting, but trust me when I say it's really do-able! The Storm Sweater does have quite a few charts though, so maybe not the easiest for a first pattern with chart, but I'm sure you could do it 💪🏻

Weaving in the ends near the side ‘seam’ would show less. Weaving each of your two yarns separately, different directions, may show less. For a thicker yarn you can separate the tail into its individual ply and weave in separately in different directions. Your yarn tension looks fabulous, and the Cumulous V neck is terrific. I have my eye on Natasja Hornby’s Maeron but have my plan set for the next few makes already . Maybe 2025.

I was eyeing the Zipper Sweater and patterns like it for some time and had just cast that on (in lovely BC Garn Loch Lomond and Camarose Midnatsol) as the BCC came along and immediately jumped onto my needles- no regrets though! In terms of summer knitting I am contemplating the CÉCILE Top by paulastrickt in order to try KFO pure silk which I have eyed for ages...
Question: Are there any techniques you haven't tried yet for one reason or another? If so, what are they and what's maybe stopping you? I for example have not yet knit anything in fisherman's rib and don't even have a special reason why, other than that I thought trying my hand at the construction of the collar for the zipper sweater was challenge enough, otherwise I would probably have cast on the Lanark sweater (also the pattern was more expensive), but if the Zipper Sweater works out like I want to; I may just want a Lanark as well 😄

Hello Mathilde ! Merci pour cet épisode toujours très intéressant 😊 pour la cumulus blouse je suis en train d´en tricoter une deuxième et pour avoir une version plus décolletée je fais une taille L (versus S normalement).
Ton storm sweater est très beau 😍😍 je tricote un November jacket avec la peer gynt et je suis un peu sceptique ! Je trouve cette laine super rustique, un peu rêche même (et elle sent le mouton 😅). J’espère que ça partira avec le bloquage. J’ai hâte de connaître ton avis sur la laine post bloquage !

I am so sorry that Moon Set Tee didn't come out as intended 😢 It is a shame, I know that feeling as this year I had similar experiences. I have to say, though, it is a nice shape for tee, and I would like to make this one for myself, but I am afraid of so small needles. I am currently working on Book Club Cardigan by Sari and Step by Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. I'd love to finish BCC this year as it is a bit challenging to work on, it is my first cable project. Yours look soooo good. I would also like to make this year second Step by Step Cardigan in gold colour. Now I have green hand dyed yarn for my first, but I am itching for the gold one with Isager mohair. For knit and chat I would like you to tell us what are you biggest knitting dreams and goals. Do you have favourite yarn so far? Or fiber in general?
