They will definitely start for breeding. I have one pair of Cocatiels (19 months old each) at my home from last month and today female lays egg.... Breeding needs to understand the birds and their comfort. Best luck...

After successful mating, female start to lay eggs after 48 hr s, after each another days, she lays a egg (3 to 7 total eggs). After 17 to 21 days chicks will comes out of egg shell.
Handfeeding is NOT necessary. It's actually better to let the parents do all the raising & the human only handles the babies. That way the bird is raised to be a bird & is still social.

Then they don’t match. Best pair is to keep introducing your bird to other birds, sometimes they have preference for color.
