Joost haha yes! I also like how he almost turns to face you and like strike a pose when he says “kiekeboo” around the 1:15ish area. After the yabba dabba dooooo’s. He’s such a cute bird, love the video where he takes a shower under the tap
@@Lily-gz3ip XD yes. When I'm refilling his food dishes, he just STARES at me like a hawk. But then he's so happy. He also screamed at SEVEN A.M. yesterday.
My sweet cockatiel died a couple of months ago. I had him for about 20 years, and have no idea how old he really was, as I found him on the roof of the house one day. Never could find who he belonged to, but he was so sweet and smart, and already knew how to say so many things. I love seeing this little guy, remind us me of my sweet Travelin' Jack.
when he sings/talks his wings opening actually shape a heart nice! cockatiels do that to show love your bird trusts you and is comfortable and also loves you :) you have a nice birb the heart shaping started at 0:56
The little baby sounds are so cute. I remember when my tiel started making those noises. Now he sings like crazy random songs like the Addams Family and Another one bites the dust 😂
Joost yeah I had a cockatiel I think he lived about 17 years. I'm not exactly sure when he was born. But I got him to whistle the Laurel and Hardy theme but he never did it right. But I guess it just makes it cuter
my cockatiel arrived 2 days ago, and when i put this he came closer to me and watched it with utmost curiosity, especially the part where the whistling came on! thank you so much!!
My male Cinnamon Pearl Cockatiel Buddy learned to imitate everything what your bird says and even the Kill Bill tune from hearing him about 5-6 times. I was shocked when he first did it. He goes wild in his cage running back and forth on his perches and whistling every time I play your video. Thank You for adding to his vocabulary!
Andrea I agree. It's much easier to train and bond with them that way. It would only be cruel if you trim your birds feathers before they are able to learn how to fly. It is nothing but a safety measure.
Mhmm. It would break my heart more if my bird were to get scared, fly into something and snap their neck. I would feel more guilt over their death than clipping their wings.
Beautiful sound, what a clever bird. Mine prefers to listen rather than talk, but she seems to be able to know what the time is which I find weird. 10pm on the dot she'll start screeching for her blanket, drives me nuts but I love her all the same, they all have unique personalities
my cockatiel loves listening to your cockatiel, she was always really quiet before she saw this video and now babbles a lot. definitely should have more talking videos they're so cute!
When I was young I had only 2 cockatiels, one male and one female. Then the male died because he was sick and only the female lived. Then my parents decided to get 3 more parrots! Another cockatiel and 2 love birds. We have kept them over some years and then in march 2020 our friends gave us another parrot!! its a female alexandrine parrot. the female cockatiel likes to be pet but the other one doesn't. I have taught my love birds to stand on my finger and my Alexandrine parrot doesn't really like to be pet but when I was with her for some time she lets me pet her. I love them so much. And the male cockatiel also puts his wings out when he sings! :3
Wow Bolle is so cute, my male grey Captain Black is going mental listening to this, I'm teaching him to sing, he is getting there....hope this encourages & helps him, yes he makes a lot of the same noises most people find annoying but I love all of his cute sounds, also have a lutino female called Lemonade she is busy sitting on her 4 eggs at the moment! ;) Thanks so much for sharing, awesome!
My bird loved listening to yours. He lost his brother a few months ago and was lonely. He started wolf whistling more because he was lonely. His brother wolf whistl ed all the time do he remained quiet. Since he died he took over the role for him. Fortunately, about a month ago my son's girlfriend caught a parakeet in the garage. She brought him over and after a few weeks we put them in the same cage. It was so funny because the keet started wolf whistling and now the cockatiel doesn't do it as much. The keet learned very quick though. I think I can get the keet to talk. I did it with a keet when I was a teen. Since this one seems to learn fast I think he could pick it up quickly. Love your cockatiel though! He brought some joy to my birds day. Thanks!
my tiel had the sweetest whistles as a little boy, very cute constant mumbles like yours. I taught him the wolf whistle and it was crisp and perfect, like exact proper sound. Now he's a middle aged man, his wolf whistle is sped up fifty times, and it repeats over and over again, he then mixes it in with a "growl" sound and a half arsed imperial march. Bloody too many people have whistled at him over the years, and ruined his vocabulary!!
I also don’t cut the wings of my cocktail. I love to see him fly. Only problem that he usually fly for two seconds and than lands on my head to sit on my hair
My cockatiel Buddy Bird is a cinnamon pearl male and was just weaned when I got him but still looks the same as the day I brought him home. He's quite a talker and knows a several tunes like Pop goes the Weasel, Cat Call whistle, Three Blind Mice and learning another. That's why I bought a male since they are more vocal than the females. He reminds me of your Cute Bird when he gets going,
One of my favorite things about my cockatiel was how he would listen so intently when he’d hear me whistle something new (very much like it appears yours does). You can almost see the gears turning.
I love that he puts his wings out when he talks!
Yeah, so do we! Almost as if indicating that what he is going to say is really important. Hahaha!

Yes, what a handsome boy he is. So smart too. Can he say pretty bird? Good boy! .
Heart wings!
My cockatiel does that too!
I love the fact that he is screaming at his own wings

Who could give this lovely bird a thumbs down? I'll stick with animals - people can be mean. This bird is precious. My Cockatiel loves your bird.
Thanks. Our cockatiel also likes to watch cockatiel-movies on TH-cam. His favourite ones are the ones that feature himself though! LOL
Cats who can't get any "dinner theater." :p
People dislike the video not the bird or the owner...
It's obviously other jealous cockatiels ^^

Taught him how to say, "birds can't talk"

Females don’t usually sing
I am pretty sure female birds in general don't sing
Yeah females don't sing, mine just does these same sounds at 0:18 from time to time, but nothing besides that
They can sing but it's pretty rare. It does exist though

Yeah, he does that quite often, looks cool. I think it is intended to impress the ladies, but he does it on other occasions as well.
bolle is so cute! i'm glad to see that his wings aren't clipped.

How would it be cruel when it grows fucking back and doesn't hurt them. It a safety measure. No one's clipping their wings bc they like it.
