It's very rare that parents eat their eggs. It occurs in case of parents are unexperienced .

@@tttclub1 i know it is but they can still eat it so either way she HAS to take it out plus i have a bird cockatiel and they laid 8 eggs and they havent hatched after 21 days so do you know whats happening if you know about cockatiels

@@tttclub1 thanks I have a yellow pied, do all non yellow pies look like this handsome fellow? With the splotchy body? Is the pied part referring to the yellow as pied. @@prittyugly86 there are 3 types of pied cocktails. Light, Heavy and clear. color can be differ. also can be hidden or visible on wings. but all of 3 types share one thing which pied's heads are same shape compared to non pied's one.

Generally, gender can be determined after cocktail reaches 5-6 months. Male always loves talking & whistles and sometimes he used as a sign for mating, but Female doesn't. Male opens both wings willing to mate on the other hand, Female head's and her body go down as waiting to be mounted

After successful mating, female start to lay eggs after 48 hr s, after each another days, she lays a egg (3 to 7 total eggs). After 17 to 21 days chicks will comes out of egg shell.

Yea and hand feeding them is important even if the parents feed it thereselves

Handfeeding is NOT necessary. It's actually better to let the parents do all the raising & the human only handles the babies. That way the bird is raised to be a bird & is still social.

When you see a red round rumbed in the back , means it's a male . Female does not have that in the back

Then they don’t match. Best pair is to keep introducing your bird to other birds, sometimes they have preference for color.

Hifaz Ahmed give her more time, she will love him after several time of trying. Make sure you have a nest box so she can lay eggs. GL

Skylee Lopresti this happened with me 2 times. Each time they laid 4 eggs but none hatched.

I'm always on the look out for any cockatiel with this color mutation and pearls... lutinos as well.
