    I've been lucky to hear him speak live. The clarity with which he explains things is amazing. We hear lot of people using flowery, accentuated english and think they are intellectuals ( the guest in paid media shows) but making complex things simple through words, is a hallmark of intelligence.

    I think what the Engineering student missed out was that whether it is a period of high inflation or low inflation - inflation by definition means rise in prices. As long as there is inflation, dosa prices will not fall and will only rise....maybe faster during periods of high inflation and a bit slowly during phases of low inflation. Balssa Samuelson effect tends to explain why prices rise across sectors (despite there not being any apparent supply and demand disequilibrium in such sectors).

    • @naveenswarnkar4180
      @naveenswarnkar4180 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The intention of the engineering student not to fall on price as you write down here to criticize here in written form. Good luck sir!!!!!!

    As an example;
    The question is that if inflation is increase we purchase Dosa 50 rs. but when inflation is decrease than we purchase Dosa is also 50 rs.
    solve;
    Dosa ingredients (rice) prices is 15 rs.than we purchase dosa 50 rs. but when rice price is less and become 13 rs. than also we purchase dosa 50 rs.
    even we goten dosa 48 rs.
    our 2 rs. where is gone.2 rs. is taken by Dosa saler
    who ;rice's prices is increse or decrease dosa prices are firm by Dosa maker and we gots dosa 50 rs. any time( if inflation or deflation ).

    as per balasaa - today almost politcal talks aremore than action when technology no where useful everything turns obsolete or that balasaa or berumada triangle what ever to take issues which is as freedom fight struggle just like every day still fight for rights this is what politcal parties surviving witht hat how for balsaa samelson theroy carried
    use a person mulit work this days district not developed but wage and workers labour is more even for white scholar job he should blend with mulit tasking blue scholar job 9 to 11 and still service sector business upliftment is still carried technology no where useful and payment itself a consolidation
    how do u say is tht balasaa samelson or it is politcan made district for his busienss
    he stops naviagation he stops anybusiness needs almost his attention as priority what a sdistrict do land up with sme and msme which has no ventialation nor the movement all that indian service sector is almost for cosmetic make up and servicing that is what india looked up and we say it is swadeshi

    I disagree with Raghuram Rajan. Technology has no role here The real reasons are :
    A) there is no market competition to the dosa seller, who therefore has no reason to lower the price.
    B) wages of the worker are never decreased. They may have never increased either. Price increase maybe purely due to fuel becoming costly.

  • @nagarajam.deshpande5235
    @nagarajam.deshpande5235 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mr. Raghuram your explanation to the question is useless and impractical.
    You think Dosa making is not Technological job and
    You want to use the Dosa maker to higher productive jobs.
    You mean to say the price is given to Labour rather than Technology ???
    This is where you lost.
    If all human resources becomes bankers, Technologists and RBI governor you will not find anything to eat and no one to serve.
    "I MEAN YOU ARE PAYING TO SERVICE NOT FOR A PERSON'S WAGE".
