Games been out a single day and already people have mastered it 100 percent on hard mode. I don't know if that's good or bad 🤣 I'd live to get this ga,e but I don't have a switch and I don't fancy buying one literally for one game. Looks great though

i didn't see a 3 hour playthrough on hard mode, I saw a 3 hour long promotion that the melee attack in Metroid Dread is the most busted ability in the whole franchise.

Never expected to see Kraid in this game. Then ending fight seems to suggest that Samus could actually bring the metroid race back from extinction because she is essentially a Metroid Queen.
I am impressed what Mercury Steam did with the Metroid franchise. Metroid Dread has shown us how the Spanish studio has improved since their Castlevania Lords of Shadow Days.

I suffered so much in this final boss, it's awesome how it gets easier if you know exactly how to evade him xD I also love how the Quiet Robe X decided to be passive with Metroid Suit Samus just to literally kill the "metroid suit transformation" in her. XD
You made hard mode look so damn easy! To the fact that Samus is too powerful in this latest Metroid game. Then after credits say "see you next mission" made me want to see what will be the next for Samus Aran now that she's transformed as the hybrid chozo/human/metroid combined!

Just wanted to say thank you for this excellent, no-frills run! I used it to unlock all Ending Rewards in the Extras menu. I used your video walkthrough for Metroid Prime Remastered as well.
SPOILERS: I love how if you pay attention to the dialogue you can tell from the first “Adam room that’s it’s not Adam and is someone acting as Adam just by the fact that “Adam is calling her Samus and not Lady. Even if you haven’t played fusion and understand the importance of that difference the game goes out of its way to show you when your in your ship and the elevator going down the real Adam has only ever called her Lady. But when you get to a “Adam” room he immediately calls you Samus. Even if you couldn’t guess that someone is pretending to be him you could see that something is off.
I honestly can't wait for Nintendo to redo Metroid Fusion with the engine used for this one and the Super Metroid remake. God imagine how awesome the SA-X scene's are going to be with that upgrade.
Super Metroid doesn't need a remake . Dread is a good game but it lacks the haunting atmosphere of Super Metroid, i miss the classic sound effects and soundtrack style as well . Not being a downer because this game is good , i just miss the classic vibe of it .

My first and blind playthrough I collected all items and OCD'd the map and removed all the fog. Took 15 hours but might have saved some time if I waited until I got the space jump ability and gravity suit.
If anyone is struggling to do the jumping shine spark at 1:27:45 you can just use speed booster along that straight away to jump to the platform on the far right of the room and then hold Down to save your shine spark when you land on that platform and then shine spark straight up to the missile. It’s still A little difficult but I find it to be easier than a jumping Shine spark.
Just beat hard mode with a time of 3:44. I had already 100% the game without a guide, but with all that exploring realized when I went in for time that I didn’t remember specifically where to go. So thanks for the help.
After beating the game in Normal mode, I did it again in hard mode right after and it actually didn't "feel" as hard the 2nd time. The game teaches you how to play better, even the Raven Beak fight didn't take as many tries on hard mode. Certain bosses are big pushovers once you know their tricks. I'm seriously contemplating a Dread mode run.

OMG, I always did it from the other side and charged a Shinespark on that short end, used Cross Bombs to get across the Crumble Blocks and nearly broke my fingers trying to get the Bomb + Shinespark done before the Shinecharge expired LMAO I feel so dumb :D Excellent video btw
i am not denying that you absolutely kill it in this game. your skill level is through the roof. i used you're 100% walkthrough on my normal playthrough and it was a life saver.... so naturally when i started my play through on hard mode i used this one almost all the way through. that being said, i just want to say that it was a little frustrating when i realized that you didn't pick up all the energy tanks. i also didnt notice until i got to experiment no. Z-57 (last boss in cataris). now i don't want to be a dick and complain about it because i know you're amazing at the game so obviously you don't need the health... but i wanted to 100% it and now its taking me forever to go all around the maps to find the other energy tanks. i just wanted to let you know. the normal walkthrough you did is PERFECT *chefs kiss*.. this one is great as well, i just wish you got all the energy tanks. i could care less about the missiles because you can get to 200 without even trying on your second playthrough. i still subscribed and i still liked the videos. thanks so much!

crazy how good animation has gotten, this can be played on a hand held and it looks 1000 times better then Metroid Prime on the game cube all those years ago.
Small trick for the Escue boss. Before you enter the room, you could charge up a Shinespark by using a walljump to keep it going as Escue enters the room, and then ram into it when the fight starts. This won't kill it outright, but definitely does a lot of damage.

Yea I spent way too much time in this, I was making a mistake of pressing the direction before the B button for flash spark, once I realized that I need to hit B first and then chose the direction it took me 3-4 tries to get it right
So good, and what a twist ending! Your gameplay skill really is astounding, expecially the missiles+ tank that requires a lot of pretty frame-perfect shinesparks. Still can't get that one.
I love how the X just seem to be MUCH weaker than anything thats the real deal, and to Samus they are just a health/energy pack and ammo with extra steps, and even MORE so than NORMAL enemies, like, 100% every kill thats an X, is ENTIRELY something you can absorb for energy and ammo, and is MUCH more efficient than normal enemies.
1:00:22 Imagine doing this on dread mode, it would be a nightmare. Also another thing I like is that samus's arm cannon changes color upon getting the plasma beam, it changes from yellow/orange to green and I think purple with wave beam but I'm not sure
Was kinda nitpicking about some design decisions like the neon patchs, minimalistic feel in some parts and the "constant federation aesthetic" (also babycrying because it's no metroid prime 4 yet) but man...what a game! They added so much to the lore! Used various elements that are usually only referenced as brief background...the way they vocalized ancient alien language remembered me of the luminoth npc on echoes, they really did a good job...expecting this to have a continuation.
I don't know why，but I sucked at metroid type game and I spent whole morning try to beat No-Z57 to no availe，but after watching your walkthrough I realized you don't actually need to prolong the fight，so I went back to try it and it only took me three more tries to beat it. I sincerely thank you for giving me confidence boost for that boss，because I really suck at this game😭

well it did seem like it wasn't harmful, plus metroid suit samus didn't shoot it on sight
I understood it as Samus absorbing additional Thoha DNA, which was initially what was holding back the Metroid DNA.

Z-57 (last boss in cataris). now i don't want to be a dick and complain about it because i know you're amazing at the game so obviously you don't need the health... but i wanted to 100% it and now its taking me forever to go all around the maps to find the other energy tanks.
i just wanted to let you know. the normal walkthrough you did is PERFECT *chefs kiss*.. this one is great as well, i just wish you got all the energy tanks. i could care less about the missiles because you can get to 200 without even trying on your second playthrough.

crazy how good animation has gotten, this can be played on a hand held and it looks 1000 times better then Metroid Prime on the game cube all those years ago.
Small trick for the Escue boss. Before you enter the room, you could charge up a Shinespark by using a walljump to keep it going as Escue enters the room, and then ram into it when the fight starts. This won't kill it outright, but definitely does a lot of damage.
How are you this good? 1:40:17 took me at least 50 tries. Wtf
I did it on the first try but by speed boosting in the section underneath and walljumping up before squatting. Honestly not sure how I did it
Lol. Looking at this now. This was nothing compared to 2:28:00 I almost threw my controller. First metroid game so big learning curve for me.

i did it from the top. that one didnt take me very long tho. the one that did was that cave one where there were all those ramps.

Yea I spent way too much time in this, I was making a mistake of pressing the direction before the B button for flash spark, once I realized that I need to hit B first and then chose the direction it took me 3-4 tries to get it right

Your gameplay skill really is astounding, expecially the missiles+ tank that requires a lot of pretty frame-perfect shinesparks. Still can't get that one.

I never thought I see that twist at the end. But then again, I believe something similar happened in Metroid Fusion towards the end of that.

I love how the X just seem to be MUCH weaker than anything thats the real deal, and to Samus they are just a health/energy pack and ammo with extra steps, and even MORE so than NORMAL enemies, like, 100% every kill thats an X, is ENTIRELY something you can absorb for energy and ammo, and is MUCH more efficient than normal enemies.
Well , it is , to someone who haven't tried Metroid Fusion , they are basically your only way to restore energy / HP/ rocket .
Any X creatures are considerably tougher than the regular ones. Don't know what you've been playing.

The cutscene 1:05:14 transmits in just a few seconds more of badass persona of Samus, than other M in a whole game.

Also another thing I like is that samus's arm cannon changes color upon getting the plasma beam, it changes from yellow/orange to green and I think purple with wave beam but I'm not sure
Was kinda nitpicking about some design decisions like the neon patchs, minimalistic feel in some parts and the "constant federation aesthetic" (also babycrying because it's no metroid prime 4 yet) but man...what a game! They added so much to the lore! Used various elements that are usually only referenced as brief background...the way they vocalized ancient alien language remembered me of the luminoth npc on echoes, they really did a good job...expecting this to have a continuation.

I don't know why，but I sucked at metroid type game and I spent whole morning try to beat No-Z57 to no availe，but after watching your walkthrough I realized you don't actually need to prolong the fight，so I went back to try it and it only took me three more tries to beat it. I sincerely thank you for giving me confidence boost for that boss，because I really suck at this game😭

@@mystyle_jm8997 Less chafing in the suit I guess. Wearing a bikini in a suit could cause the "metal" parts to rub against her skin or something. Wearing a body suit would reduce skin overall skin contact.
