Ill stick with my Sense (1) After 2 years the battery is still doing a week without charging!!! And its got 3rd party apps & looks better than the sense 2 The value of the sense (1) have increased as the price goes down!!!😃 It does soo much for a tracker!!! Ill have multiple timers on a busy day, then ask alexa to remind me to do things!!! Its amazing!!! 😃
I would stick with the sense and see what they bring out next year. I'm in the process of sending my sense 2 back so will see how I get on with the Google assistant on the pixel watch when it comes
My Fitbit Sense 2 just died on me so I'm back to my Fitbit Sense 1 and it's far superior. It's made of Steel, not Aluminum like the Fitbit Sense 2. The touch button also works better and doesn't get stuck with grime. The Sense 2 would drop connection all the time so asking Alexa for anything was pointless. The Sense 1 maintains its wifi connection to my phone far more reliably. I only miss the Stress/Mood alerts the Sense 2 did. But that can still be logged into the phone app directly. The Sense 2 lasted me 2 years, so I'm out of warranty and that's $300 down the drain. The Sense 1 I bought in 2021 and dusted it off just now in Late 2024 and it's working perfectly.
The morons at Google who bought out Fitbit need to be fired. They managed to downgrade the Sense 2. The pixel could have been their solution, but instead sold something half assed. They need a great Sense 3 or Pixel 2, or Im going with Samsung.
Is smart wake alarm available on Pixel Watch ? & is Fitbit app the same on it (like for sleep information) ? I have Sense 1 and also a Pixel Watch (gift with P7Pro, i haven't open the package to try) Sense 1 is good for battery but poor "sync".
The sense 2 has more fitness tracking features, but I prefer the look of the pixel watch as long as you don't mind the battery life. If you're not in a rush you may be better waiting for the next version that should be released later this year.
So basically Google should've added their features to the sense 2 instead of making a whole new device. Also battery life, pixel watch barely lasts the day, even without frequently checking it, where the Fitbit says multiple days between charges.
The changes make absolutely no sense. They have dropped features from the sense as well as the versa added a few to pixel but then Don't offer features that should absolutely be on a smartwatch. I've had Fitbits for 11 years and waited so long for that pixel watch that come out and in my opinion it was an absolute dud for all the reasons you described without the mention of the awful battery and I'll let exposed glass. I bailed and got a Samsung Watch Pro 5 and even as a woman with a small wrist I haven't had this much fun with an electronic device since I got the first version iPod touch. The problem is what we've seen from Fitbit over the years. They have a price structure problem. Each wash is separated by such a small amount of money they had no choice but to make the Google pixel $350 which is overpriced for what you get. They going to absolutely have to stream down their line of Fitbit products and leave the pixel as their top of the line but I think at this point they are so confused and have no clue what to do with their pricing structures and what they offer.
@@strengthsweatsucceed , yah i just saw. its a real shame its not on sale and wont be for awhile.. the pixel 1 however currently is for 200aud less at 248aud.. i was thinking this or either fitbit inspire 3. but that lack of thermometer seems ridiculous
@@crimsontrigger3632 seems like Google are holding back on small features for future releases. I was lucky to get mine for free due to my phone needing an upgrade to the pixel 8 pro.
Ill stick with my Sense (1)

Exactly the content i was looking for, thanks
Glad it helped
Yeah, Google is making some crazy changes. Not sure why their newer smartwatches now have less than half the battery life of previous smartwatches.

No smart wake on the pixel watch and the Fitbit app is exactly the same
I really like the look of the pixel watch but am i better off with thr sense two?

Yes , Google was present in original sense so it's disappointing they have now removed it along with the stainless steel case.

I will try and check it out at some point as that's good to know thank you
How fustrating! What's up Google, put all the same features the sense has!
"For some reason" google have removed their competitor's product... wonder why lol
How's the battery comparison between the two?
I've had both, pixelwatch isn't even on the same planet... Fitbit 6 days... Pixelwatch 24hrs max
Using the pixel watch at the moment. With always on display just over a day so far
there's a application in Play Store of Alexa client app
Not for the pixel watch unfortunately
I orefere longer lasting battery over 3rd party apps
so no positives with the pixel watch vs fitbit sense 2????
Not really, but the new pixel watch 2 now includes the sensors.
