Actually IGNIS is very comfortable with good ground clearance. It is one of the safest car in its segment available in India
I owned this car from 2018 .till now my millage is 18000 km .it's an awesome car and excellent model in this segment.no other cars will not compare with this model.it gives 19.5 km/l mileage.i loved this car and I am very much satisfied.cost of this car for Zeta model logically worth for it..
Sir ...I own ignis ...I've been driving this car for 7 months now ..and I'm highly satisfied customer..I never cared whether car would be hit or not ..but it ticked all my needs ..as you said rightly ...it's a global car ..I kept this thing in my mind ...
The other reason ..that I could figure Out why this car is not "chart buster is that it falls under premium tag and people confuse it with celareo..the kind price I paid for it ..7.45 lac on road ..I could switch to sedan or a compact sedan. So that's where this car is under decent sale chart and not chart buster .. because only the people who know " what they are buying" and what exactly they need ...and not interested in what " Sharma ji and vermaji'a are buying ..are buying ignis ..I mean only sure footed people are buying this car and that is also a reason why u don't get to see ignis very often on indian road.
On the other hand Tata has done tremendous job with Tiago ..I must congratulate Tata for this wonderful job ..I had both the option for me...but I still went for ignis for its global status and much better A.C. and paid extra premium ..but no regrets .

Excellent analysis by Car Guru. I fully agree with you. Maruti Suzuki Ignis is indeed a very good car with plenty of features. It is a city car, small and affordable. Easy to drive, easy parking and comfortable in congested areas. Looks ? It is totally depending on personal choice. As for me, I favor its design. According to experts, Ignis is a all round winner.

i bought this car(petrol manual mid variant) 6 months ago driven 5000 kms that too on crappy village roads it is nice only problem with this car is its looks( from front it is good but back its crap) it gives good mileage(around 18-21), suspension is average(but definitely better than baleno) ride quality is really good it is fun to drive this car ground clearance is good, if you are from rural side or you drive most on crappy roads and low on budget go for this car even in city it is fun to drive it is small and easy to move in traffic and you stand different from others because you cant see this car more on roads,it is a quality car and worth a buy. (if you are buying car just for rear looks please ignore this comment)

1. Cabin space
2. Rear space
3. Rear visibility is not clear.
4. Fit and finish
5. Ncap rating is not good.
6. Music system is outdated.
7. 4 airbag is must.
8. Sunroof could be added. (*)
Ignis according to me has best class technology, feature,safety, ride and driveability. But may be lacking in exterior appeal... that people may expect a larger or flamboyant coupe than it .
Meray pass Ignis hai Mar'17 se. Isko mainay har terrain mai chalaya hai. Last trip thi Dehradun- Jammu - Moghul road-Srinagar-kargil -Leh. Ignis ki handling, driving height, ground clearance and inner cabin/boot space excellent hai. Bahar se zaroor choti dikhti ho but inner space is more than swift and equivalent cars. It's an amazing vehicle. I am happy that I bought this vehicle after months of research and many test drives which included Jazz, tiago, i10 Grande etc. Ignis rocks.

Amit ji main ek senior citizen hun. Aur Ignis Delta lene ki soch raha hun. Is umr mein MT theek rahegi ya AMT. Doosra , kya ye sahi hai ki City mein agar Ignis 60 kmph se kam par drive karo to ye 6 kmpl ka average deti hai. Is lihaaz se economical nahin hogi. Pl zara jaldi reply kijiyega-aajkal is par 50 hazaar tak discount chal raha hai . Dhanywaad

Par ab ye video dekhne ko unhe bolunga. or mujhe ye car bohot passand hai or achha lagta hai chalane mein or isme space ki bhi kami nahi hain

I'm using ignis since February 2017 till now i drived 20000 km and no any issues their. controling, ac, pick up, all are very good average around 20 on highway and 17 on city with ac. I highly recommend for those who are planing to buy new car.
Sir ignis may be not flop but its not hit also... and with maruti logo its a bad figure... if ignis has not maruti logo than its sales may be below 500...

Which car is best ignis or swift 2018?
For the first time I don't agree with car guru. Totally wrong comparison. When we say Ignis is not doing well we mean in comparison to other Maruti cars. Compare Dzire, Alto, Baleno, Swift sales numbers with Ignis. It will be be a clear loser. The fact that people are not buying this car in big numbers shows that there is a problem. Customer is not a fool. He understands good & not so good. The figures are dipping already Ignis sales are going down.
Tata tiago XM, Wagnor VXI or Ingoa sigma price lagbagh same hai. First time gadi purchase kar raha hu. Ignis sigma choose ki hai. Kya mera Sahi decision hai..Pls guide
