Some beautiful looking cars that cost more than I paid for my apartment! I know impalas can go for crazy money but I can't afford to sell my house just to buy a car. Cool video though, see you in the next one!
Yes they definitely are out of most if not all normal peoples price range, well if they like to eat and live anyhow. Thanks for watching and commenting
Awesome video man! I love seeing some nice old hot rods, I think that each one is truest unique in itself, but they all have a classic and stripped down basic design that I personally love, keep up the good work man! 👍👌💪🤘✌
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su Yes sir! I love the culture and the cars in it, I have dvds on hot rodding and also Mopar’s too and they shaped my childhood along with the motorcycle stunt dvds that I have and collect, very welcome, always a pleasure, 👍😀
I'm so glad this popped up in the notifications. These vids make my day. The 32 Highboy is a nice looking ride. But at $39k, that might be stretching a bit. More like $27k. And to be honest, I like running boards and fenders on these. It changes the stance on ride and opens it up to several possibilities. The 34 is pretty cool. A little to much chop for me. But I do like the fact that it has what the 32 does not. 🤣🤣🤣 $60k. I don't think they'll get that much. Ok the 56 Lincoln is a real looker. The engine bay could use a little sprucing up. I'd say $25k to $27K would be more like it. Now the 28 Ford Panel is right up my alley. Absolute beauty for sure, but $50k... No way. Would have liked to see the hood up. The 35 5window coupe is a head turner. $65k seems like a lot for this ride, and it is. But the parts that are in it aren't cheap either. Maybe $45k is a little more like it. The 30 Ford Hot Rod is awesome. Yes, a slight chop would make a world of difference in it. I figure about $14k would buy it. It needs some help. The 50 Merc is NOT worth that much. I like a good chop as much as the next guy. But I think this one is a little aggressive. I'm right there with you on the 29. Although, I really dig the running boards and fenders. And who doesn't like a rumble. The 58 doesn't do it for me. The 50 chevy is nice to look at. But if you're going to sell it, you've limited yourself to a very few. I like the stance of this one. The 28 Model A "LOOKS" good, but driving it would be a nightmare. The motor shouts "Run like a bat out of hell". The rest of the ride shouts "Don't even think about it" 🤣. It's a parade car now. All show and not allowed to go. Definitely for someone who has way to much money. Lengthy I know, I just got caught up. LOL sorry about that. Thank you for this one. It made me want to start another project. My wife would stop speaking to me. HAHAHA!
I’m with you on keeping the fenders on some of those they do have a nice look, also don’t mind some that chop the roofs some , but never shorten the classics that is a sin lol....These were some steep pricing for sure
If the 50 Merc was done by Gene Winfield, well that changes things. Interesting you should mention that - 58 Chevy has grown on me over the years too and this one is sharp. Most of the rest are nice, but I think they're trying to get out of it what they put into it. That doesn't usually happen. Thanks as always sir, hope you're continuing to heal ~ Chuck
First three cars, the 32, 34, and Lincoln were all worth the asking price. They were all CA cars so probably no rust. The 32 looked very well built. The 34, too. The Lincoln looked to have a chopped top plus clean custom paint job. The 28 was overpriced but leaves room to knock it down. The next Model A was decently priced. The $70,000 Merc says it was built by Gene Winfield. If there is proof, the price might be worth it. Winfield is a legendary customizer. As with all these prices, there is probably wiggle room but CA cars are always more expensive. Looking more at the pics of the Merc, the engine and compartment definitely need cleaning and detailing.
I really like how this guy goes from totally smashing on the WTF finds, but still shows us the opposite end of the spectrum. I just want something somewhat unique, but doesn't end up on the first end of said spectrum.🤠
I loved that green 32 High boy & thought it was worth the money until I seen it wasn't a true ford, for me the Chevy engine in a Ford just isn't right & vise versa.😮💨
I really like the '56 Lincoln but, there is now way in hell that it would be practical on UK roads, it would be a nightmare and as for parking it, don't get me started!! Now the black and white 1929 Ford, that would work and its a really smart little car.
If the green Ford highboy is a steel body it might be worth the price. I think the 50 Merc might be worth it, you have too look at it, it's a Gene Winfield the man was a legend.
You would definitely have to do your due diligence on that one, to be absolutely positive that Gene built it. Hopefully there is provenance to back it up. Definitely a cool collector piece. I’m not sure if I am able to make a qualified assessment on that one but I wouldn’t let my emotions be the judge. Just the name Winfield is worth something when it on a car that he built
Some of these cars are too personalized. Secondly they remind me of the cars we customized in my day. There was always a “For Sale “ sign as an attention getter ( having a reason to talk about the car) knowing damn well that nobody is walking around with the kind of money they’re asking for. Or the only opportunity they have to photograph and publish it on line, in a magazine or newspaper. Absolutely none of them is worth the asking prices, and they don’t really wanna sell them in the first place ( real talk) a car is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.
Your not wrong.. and you definitely called it on just listing it for sale to start a conversation on the car.. great comment. Thanks for watching and commenting
The only problem I have with the hot rods is if it's a ford, put a ford motor back in. So many people take the easy way out, or used to be cheap, and use a chevy power train. Chevy in a chevy, dodge in a dodge and ford in a ford. Strictly my opinion.
Absolutely.. the fenders are most definitely the way to go .. I didn't know how good they looked with the fenders on.. why in the world are they taking them off..kind of dumb
Well this time you found good looking cars some of the prices are a little swinging for offenses like you say but at least they're not that trash that you know these Facebook marketplace people have
Well for me, the price has to reflect my needs, i wanna park it at the grocery store, drive it like i stole it, cant rationally do that for big big money.
I know right.. I don't see the point of not driving them everywhere.. no need for a car that's so expensive I'd be afraid to daily drive it. Thanks for watching and commenting
what in the wide wide world of sports are these folks smokin'??? and where can i get some??? most, if not all the sellers are swinging for the fences....with fungo bats. admitted, half the asking price on any of these would probably be a low ball offer, but a third lower than asking would be a reasonable offer....for most. happy dreams you guys
I get that prices are insane. But I have always felt you should expect to buy your dream hot rod for the same price you would buy a new truck, which still seams to jive in this situation. If you don't want to pay the high bucks you are building it yourself, these guys are probably trying to cover the credit card bill they racked up building them in the first place.
I really like the first one; the '32 Ford, if someone told me my favorite car here would be the green one, with the brown interior, I'd tell them to stop eating their own fart bubbles in the bath tub...but here we are!
Certainly beautiful cars..but these prices reflect what they have invested and there is no meat on the bone..Looking for a hotrod you want to find a deal otherwise your just buying someone elses dream..There isn't even any room to make your own mark on these cars..
Every one of those was way overpriced. Even that '30 Ford with the faded paint. There were some super nice lookingcars, but not worth what they were asking.
In the words of Fred Flintstone.... they have lost their rock pickin minds ! They are old cars , they look like old cars , they drive like old cars and brake down like old cars . They are toys .
They have .. but even new cars have the same problems with be reliable also.. olds cars are easy to fix .. and provide more smiles.. but new or old every thing is overpriced. Thanks for watching and commenting
NONE, of these cars are worth what they are asking for them. They may be on point in some cases, but for me, no, but I would build my own. Some of these cars guys were probably given ultimatums by their significant other. They can’t help nobody is willing to buy it from them, after all they aren’t going to give it away. If I didn’t want to sell something I would have it way overpriced too. A lot of these prices are appeased prices to make someone happy they are finally going to part ways with it because they love their wifey more, (wink wink).
Some beautiful looking cars that cost more than I paid for my apartment! I know impalas can go for crazy money but I can't afford to sell my house just to buy a car. Cool video though, see you in the next one!

These prices are more than I paid for TWO livable houses side by side a year ago!
Great cars... That black 1950 Chevy needs to be in a movie!🤔👍

Some fine looking rides but most well out of my price range.

Nice 58 Chevy, great red paint & a Chevy engine to complete the package.👍

At 8:40 I believe it is in Australia they are doing something similar as far as stacking blowers. Some as high as 6'.

🤣🤣... maybe.

HOT WHEELS COLLETION!
Nope on the last one. I can't get in or out the pretty thing.

To many cheeseburger for me... 🤣
Not gonna lie that 58 Chevy Impala or Biscayne kustom was cherry on top crazy price on last hot rod in video 30 Ford $165,000
& 34 Ford (Black). Probably all of them!

Actually, the price question kinda fell into place: up to $40000 or so, the prices seem pretty realistic. North of $40000? Pass....all overpriced....
Pretty expensive for me. I wonder what they're going to cost 6 months from now?
And the blue Lincoln.🤨
