I never paid, but when they first switched to on-demand I did use the app because you could watch all previous seasons and the current season with a 3 week delay and the only cost was ads. I completely stopped though when they added three 15 second ads every 5 minutes, it was unbearable (same exact ads every time). Shortly after they did this, they then locked all previous seasons, and only had one video available at a time which I think is 3 weeks before the current episode if i remember correctly. I don't know how they kept an audience and stayed afloat as I'd imagine they made a lot less money after completely cutting off ad revenue by removing free viewing and switching to pay to watch which not many people seemingly did.

Fun to see this. I live on the island of Guam and here we can get clean title for the road for these so they sell pretty steep (priced 10 to 20k lately) that said not many folks build them much further than wheels and small or big block chevy swaps. Something I am hoping to see is a rear steer conversion on one, as looking under them it's totally doable being it seems the rear suspension mirrors the front just add a ram, log truck bunk pins and a joystick?. If I personally owned one I would be looking to 4l80e conversion and a mild turbo setup. Later uparmored models came with factory turbos and there is a company making banks style kits for these now.

Nick - the cordless ones are convenient over the corded versions, but the real drag is buying/renewing battery packs every 3-ish years. It’s not exactly cheap buying new ones, and if you rebuild them yourself, it’s time consuming and inconvenient. My first tour, we had a regular m1123, and the front springs were worn out. No bounce anymore, so we ordered springs for it. The only springs that were available at the time were up armour springs for the increased weight on the hmmwv. They were so stiff, the front end literally bounced on every bump. Almost like we replaced the front end with pogo sticks. It was a horrible ride but the lift it gave was def helpful. You bouncing across the bumps reminded me of that and I haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Hahahaha. That rig is cool man. Neither of the engines in those were worth much. I laughed pretty hard when he said give it the beans.... Down hill with a tail wind is the beans.

This is one of the first HMMWV build done decent. I really don't like the HMMWV platform (at least stock)- wheel travel is atrocious and it's really just a mobile platform for moving troops.
Now you guys just have to modify the suspension to actually gain wheel travel. You've got the amount of wheel travel as a stock Xterra- the portals are what makes it work with such little wheel travel.

First, this is just an ad for the UTV.
Second, let's load both vehicles with another 4,000 pounds. Only one will make it to the top at all. That's the point of a Humvee.

That is a 1 1/4 ton tactical vehicle. That means it can off-road with over a ton of equipment loaded. That's why the suspension is so bad. Cool truck.

"The backspacing isn't as severe so it'll help push the tire and wheel out a little bit." Yeah - big no no in the H1 world. You will kill ball joints within 500 miles of putting on improperly backspaced wheels on those massive hubs and tires. Ask me how I know. Actually, don't. It's like a child molestation when I remember the cost of fixing that disaster I got from the dealer who sold me the truck.

I have an MT subscription and have been waiting for a new episode for a while....then guess what, its on TH-cam a week after it was released to MT! Great....
I will not be renewing MT any longer. Not enough new content that interests me.

I've never seen these guys before. One thing I really enjoyed was their verbal delivery. They didn't use a bunch of TV hype jargon and slang and blast out manic dialogue like their jacked on coke (like so many other shows)

Thankfully post-gov humvees are quite common so there's no hate in chopping up one, or a few. That said, a stubby humvee is quite odd to behold.
