May 10, 1973. The final Carson road trip back to New York.

I actually had the "Odd Couple" Lp back in the day. It was hilarious.

This was apparently May 10, 1973. From his last "road trip" set of shows in his old stomping grounds of New York (people forget, after Johnny moved his show to Burbank, he made two three-week "return trips" to New York - this, and previously in November 1972).

I had that album. They used "When Banana Skins are Falling" as the intro to the National Actors' Theatre production of The Sunshine Boys.

Randall did NOT win that emmy in 1973. He finally won it for The Odd Couple in 1975 where he famously told the audience "I DONT thank you. I should have been given this award Years ago" lol

Tony and CNR were two of the best guests with Johnny.

When personality wrote the humor without ever putting pen to paper. Unfortunately, I can think of only one living actor whose manner accomplishes what these two just did...Bill Murray.

I'm exactly that way. I could stay alone 98% of the time.
