    When ever I need a shot of nostalgia, I come here! It was great seeing Tony Randall again, I loved him in The Odd Couple and pretty much everything else he did.

    I love it. Tony, a true gentleman, had Ray Charles absolutely in stitches. He certainly kept Cavett on his toes.

    For any Americans who dont know, Wilfred Lawson was a really distinctive and fascinating actor. It's nice to learn that Tony Randall heid him in high regard.

    I grew up with Tony as an actor but didn't know he was true to his word. He gives you a prospective from the inside. Very refreshing. I wish Ray would of stayed.

    One memory of Tony Randall is the opinion some people had and how some bagged on him for marrying a younger lady and having a kid in the latter stages of his life. GOOD FOR HIM AND HIS LAST TANGO, ALSO HIS KIDS LEGACY OF LOVE. And his praise from cherries🍒 to cantaloupes🥝 R.I.P. RAY, DICK&TONY.

    Is it possible that Tony Randall was really the guy from The Odd Couple?!

      Yes. He acted, and spoke just like "Felix." I don't even think he knew he was doin it.

    Randall lived at 145 Central Park West. My half-brother married Michael Learned and they bought half his co-op. Klugman lived at 1049 Park Avenue!

    Tony Randel was not boring. He was brillant , methodical, and a much missed human being. He was genuinely amazing in his craft. I bet you must be boring, so maybe you should try changing your persona. Rest in peace to a great and wonderful man.

    Somehow, it doesn't seem right to make a (blind) unique talent like Ray Charles sit through a story that's about seeing something. Still, Tony R was terrific in Odd Couple and much more. Also, selfless in terms of his support for the arts, esp music, in NYC

      I think he's using to hearing people talk about seeing things. Also this wasn't the snowflake era. Stop f-ing whining.

      @@pronemanoldbutyoung5548 lmao right , but they was dead ass wrong talking about something Ray wish he could’ve seen 😊

      @@pronemanoldbutyoung5548 Ray was genial and a gentleman. TR was great. But, regardless of the vision issue, would've been nice to try and include Ray. Although, given all the other problems in the world, not tremendously important. And, that's probably that's how Ray felt.

    • @krissmgvlogs
      @krissmgvlogs ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I can't imagine Ray would not want a person to tell a story about what they saw just because he's blind. Not only that, he laughed like a kid. He was enjoying himself.
