    This is another quite enjoyable Compilation Video @ B Q ❤❤😊; 15 out of 20 for me 😊. I love Les Patineurs Ballet's elegant costumes, the dancers' impressive footwork, and tho surprisingly a short piece, it is delightfully nice ❤❤! Cipollino by Mikahilovsky Ballet, is quite wonderful, too ❤❤. I love the harmony and melody of Karen Khachaturian's (nephew of Aram Khachaturian) music score ❤❤. The rhythm of the dance surely captivates the audiences ❤❤. Charline Gizendanner's a very good dancer, she's smiling mischievously, here, in Coppélia ❤❤! Thank you as always @ B Q ❤❤😊.

    18/20 OK, well I had some difficulties here, but the good news are that I got helped by the music and the scenarios with most of them. I've seen lately some of the performances that you included so I guess I was just lucky!

      That's awesome, some of them were not very easy at all. Thank you so much for watching and playing along ❤️❤️❤️

    15 out of 20. Not bad, not good. That was fun, BQ, had that feeling of excitement at the start of performance x20!

    18/20😊. Excellente idée de quizz ; il est le pendant logique de celui sur les finals👍. La scène d'ouverture est primordiale. Elle plante, en quelque sorte, le décor de ce qui va suivre. Je note que dans certaines versions de ballets, le chorégraphe choisit de mettre une scène pendant l'ouverture. Je pense à la version de Liam Scarlett du "Lac des Cygnes".

      Bravo! Clairement, il y a une certaine liberté pour la mise en scène, ce qui rend les différentes productions intéressantes! Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire 🙏❤️

    Wow, this was an amazing compilation! I got 18/20 (stumbled only across 7 and 15; for 7 I would just needed one second more (; LOL this should have been clear then (;). It's interesting to take a closer look at the ballet openings from different amazing companies! It's interesting to learn about their music and stage possibilities! I hope you understand that I never can resist to drop some information or reflection. Just like here it's interesting to see that even openings can be interpreted on different ways, depending whether to stage already the introduction or to open the courtain later as originally intended...and I think depending on the production, I will pick now my favorite: My favorite here is Nr. 5, but I also love here Nr. 17 and 18 (;. Thank you for your brilliant quizzes to learn so much! Btw, could you also tell me which dancers are Albrecht and Romeo here?
    And I also have checked that not only Yuri Grigovich, but probably also Patrice Bart messed around with the music from a ballet first performed in 1877 (;

      Aw, thank you so much!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed the quiz and the compilation ❤️ I totally agree with you about the different takes of the different companies!
      Albrecht is most likely Johan Kobborg (it's not mentioned unfortunately) and Romeo is Vladimir Shklyarov

      @@BalletQuiz Thank you! Somehow I wish so much to have more time for all these things! And I also have wished earlier before your account that there would be a channel with ballet quizzes! I was a bit afraid that somehow I could have scared you away with my critical feedback....

      @@BalletQuiz I'm glad to hear that! It's already such a long time ago, when I was doing videos, too, and working with clips, but I got too much problems with green screen etc. and then I was worried about copyright. I really wish also to do again a research video. My Instagram post quality is not so good, and I'm also not sure whether it is read anyway...I'm not sure whether you have actually seen my recent things. Your feedback was also so nice and helpful, and currently,I'm not quite sure in which direction to go with my posts. I'm happy to have with you someone also so experienced and interested in ballet history!

      It's definitely not a very easy endeavour 😊
      If I may, what I would like to know concerning your Instagram posts, is the background. I would like to know how it all started, and what your goals are.

    17 for me, pleased with that!
    Lovely to see the opening scenes. Also interesting to see which ones set a unique scene from the very beginning, and which ones are a bit more generic and one has to wait for the story to develop a bit...
    Will have to watch again to choose a favourite. :-)

      For the mood of the moment - I enjoyed la Fille most. Les Patineurs always interests me - I've never seen more than that opening scene but it is so jolly. Cippolino was new to me, looked intriguing!

    • @felicity1877
      @felicity1877 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      yes, they are different, as they need to show the setting and general mppd, but I think it also depends also here on the exact moment chosen. Le Corsaire here feels taken from a later opening moment than e.g. La Fille Mal gardee, and it also depends a bit on the production. Also I think that here the opening from La Bayadere (here from Bayerisches Staatsballett) is not staged as traditional and it also not the original opening music (rather taken from scene finale). The choreography is by Patrice Bart and also the ending is absolutely an unique idea...
