Tesla Model 3 $20 Automatic Opening Frunk!

Today we installed a $20 part from Amazon (Linked below) to make the Frunk on our Tesla Model 3 Automatically Open. Nothing it just pops up and we have to lift open the frunk, now it will open all the way up as soon as we open the frunk from our app. Making our Tesla Model 3 have an automatic opening frunk. We sadly do have to close the frunk ourself.

@BigC Vlogs Try using one automatic strut and one original strut, that might reduce the opening force.

Saw this earlier and it made me worried just how hard it bounces open... that would worry us way too much, but glad you like it.

My dad has this upgrade installed and he put one of those soft closers of a trash can lid inside.😂 But it works.

With 1 only on 1 side it should work smoothly too. And you could use thé 2nd one for the back =truck...

@@BigCVlogs Test it. I think it should work for both front and back with 1 only on 1 side. And it should open more smoothly then..."automatically"

I’m struggeling to make it fit on the back. A bit to long. Sure it will be Ok? Or can ot be adapt?

Actually it didnt work. Not even both of them was strong enough for the trunk. To bad, great idea.

I thought about switching one of the drunk arms back to the original but wasn't sure if that would work. That's the only way I could think of.
