It’s so comforting to hear Bert and Rain talk about anxiety and OCD. Bert saying that he doesn’t understand how people go about their lives without worrying and being afraid basically 24/7-I don’t think I’ve ever related more to a sentence that has come from a celebrity’s mouth. I say that pretty much word for word all the time and it makes me feel kinda crazy. Having mental health conversations on a platform like this is so important. This made me realize I am not the only person in the world who thinks like this, and it gives me hope for my future success. If Bert and Rain became successful living with these things, I know I can too. What a wonderful podcast and what wonderful, genuine people they are.
It's still really hard for me at times but I have Been dealing with my o c d long enough to learn that there are certain things that will trigger me And sometimes I can Avoid them. I hope you can find the piece of Mind You deserve and move ahead in life to be as successful as you want
What a great way to disarm an interviewer like Bert 😂 I think it was what was needed for this conversation to get as intimate and deep. Rainn took the role of interviewer from Bert like a master
It’s so sweet to see how caring rainn is about Bert’s sleep apnea and aspiration (never knew about aspiration that’s a good way to get pneumonia). And so funny w the segura bit.
That is how my father died. Bert's health is precisely where my father's health was two years before he died. Bert: I am a random stranger, and you will likely never see this, but in case you do: We love you. Get healthy.
@@Dino3014 I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope Bert gets healthy asap. That belly has to be from drinking. He works out everyday and it looks hard not flabby. I hope he gets scared enough to start taking care of himself soon
Can I just say it's so good to bring awareness on things like mental health. You realize that you're not alone. Been dealing with anxiety and can really relate.
It's funny because you guys had me crying when you were talking about hope and happiness. I wasn't expecting to be balling my eyes out at the end. This podcast has given me a brighter look on life and for that, I thank you both. I go to my job with the mindset to brighten at least one person's day and now I will strive to brighten more people's day. Seeing someone go from angry or depressed to smiling as they leave my line (I'm a cashier) energizers my spirit. Thank you.
I really hope Bert's friends and family talk him into using the CPAP for his sleep apnea. I had the same symptoms as him and found out my oxygen level was going down to 68% at night... this was the same level that my mom had with Covid on the night they said she wouldn't survive (she did miraculously). That coughing is from acid reflux causing inspiration of vomit into his lungs and his voice is cracked because of the acid effects on his vocal cords. He could easily die in his sleep and I wish so much I could tell him about it. I've heard people are concerned about him and I really truly do not want to lose this wonderful man to something preventable. His comedy makes me laugh so much and brings me out of depressed moods, he is a gift to us. I hated my CPAP at first too, but you truly get used to it after a week or two, especially when you know you probably have almost died in your sleep countless times. I'll be praying for him.
Internet: Please start creating the montage of all of the encounters Bert has with guests on his shows that act surprised when he mentions he has a trainer. This is the 2nd or 3rd person and it gets funnier every time.
Thank you so much for the happiness discussion. Also, I have just come out of a long phase of not believing in a higher power and now am finding purpose and joy in believing the universe is far larger than just this day to day. Also, laughing is so healing. Currently in a hard spot in my life and have been fighting off depression and “searing” anxiety. The first thing I wanna do in the morning is put on my favorite sitcom and eat breakfast to start my day off with a couple chuckles before I plow thru my current situation. I’m thankful for the people who have dedicated their lives to helping us have a lighter perspective on life’s challenges and experiences.
@SpawnPK Tom Hanks I think he's trying to say Bert seems to think he's experienced what his guests have experienced, and that can come off cunty. It's like dude you haven't been through what I've been through, stfu and listen. Type shit.
